Moxie preys on unsuspecting senior citizens and decieve them into signing a contract that they can't get out of without penalty. Remember, if they have to come to your door to get you to sign up that means no one is going to their website looking for them! An expensive lesson I learned too late. On 7/11/2025 a man came to my door asking if I wanted to sign up with Moxie Pest Control. I let him in because I was suffering from massive chigger bites. He told me that he also had chigger bites and Moxie could take care of them. I was warey because I had already spoken with another service and they said chiggers and misquitoes were tricky because after treatment the chiggers and misquites would return if neighbors didn't treat for them. The man explained that Moxie was different. They would spread granules that would gradually release for a continuous treatment. This made sense so I signed his IPad. It wasn't until later that I realized that chiggers and misquitoes are not even on Moxie's list of "Target Pests". Another man came and I was surprised to see him cleaning spider webs from the outside of my house. I sat down for dinner and he was gone when I finished. I did not see him treat the lawn but I did see some granules in some planting areas but not others. I saw nothing on the lawn. It seemed like the chiggers actually got worse! After a month with no relief from the chiggers, I called to cancel future treatments and I was told I did not understand the scientific process. The first treatment was to flush out the pests and future treatments would take care of them. Why would I want the chiggers flushed out in the middle of summer when I wanted to be in my yard? Winter will eradicate them! I was sold a lie. I got no relief from my chiggers and misquitoes. I was charged $299 for cancellation for a total of $448 just to have my chiggers flushed out and my spider webs cleaned. What they sell you is not what you get.
Recommendation: Don't let the Moxie Salesman through your door.
