Moxie Pest Control review: Moxie Pest Control not recommened

My experience with Moxie Pest Control. I cannot recommend this company.
While their sales team was helpful and their technician very competent, I find the company itself very aggressive and deceptive to work with. The day after I gave them my phone number after I agreed to an initial trial, my spam call activity dramatically spiked.

After conducting a one time service for me, to remove wasps nests and spray around the house, I then began to receive continuous emails scheduling a next service, without benefit of a contract or annual service agreement. Pest control is typically quarterly, but these folks were trying to schedule within 45 days. I emailed them telling them we had no agreement for a service. Why should I pay for a service I did not agree to? With no svc agreement? But they showed up anyway without knocking on my door or anything. Fortunately I was able to stop the service. However, they still sent me a bill for the full service fee and charged my card. Incredible. Then when I tried to get a refund, as I did not request or agree to a service, they kept me on hold for 35 minutes and only gave me a partial. I recommend anyone wanting to work with these folks to pls consider other options first.
