It's a shame because everything was going well until I ran into an issue. Honestly, there are other options out there that, in my opinion, are way better.

I heard about Monzo from a friend who gave me a golden ticket, so I skipped the queue and got myself a card. I'm really happy with it because it's on Neon and they don't charge you for using it internationally! My bank, Lloyds, charges me about a dollar for each transaction, plus some extra fees. The Monzo app is great too, it helps me manage my money easily and shows me the real-time value. It even offers overdraft, which is similar to any other bank, with the usual interest rate.

The only downside I can think of is that they don't have a telephone support option or an easy way to reach support. But if you're looking for a second card to use abroad and avoid those pesky bank fees, Monzo works awesome! Just be aware that if you encounter any issues, you'll need some good luck to get them resolved. The support team is extremely slow, it took them 3 weeks to reply to my issue! So, I would recommend Monzo, but don't rely on it as your primary account. You'll still need some luck if anything goes wrong.
