Mondello Performance Products

I got a beef with Mondello Performance Products, Inc. 'cause of the Oldsmobile 485 V8 engine I bought from them. It took 'em 6 months to give it back to me after warranty work, and when I got it, it was a mess. They used way too much silicone, which they said caused the oil pressure loss. They said the silicone clogged the oil pump pick up, which is why they had to do warranty work. They also put in a solid camshaft when I asked for a hydraulic one. I asked for the specs on the new camshaft, but they haven't given 'em to me yet. They also didn't give me back the crankshaft and water pump pullies, and they put on different valve covers. Here's what else was wrong: too much silicone on the intake manifold, valve cover gaskets, and between the valve cover gaskets and cylinder heads; bad paint job on the intake manifold and cylinder heads that I didn't approve of, with chips, cracks, and bubbles; and different valve cover gaskets without my say-so. I'm super unhappy with the lack of communication and the shoddy work they did on the warranty work. I was happy with the engine the first time I got it, except for the camshaft, so this is a real letdown from a company I used to think was great.
