Amazing Home Gym Setup Experience with Mighty Fitness: Quality Equipment and Transparent Service
I recently purchased a whole gym setup from Mighty Fitness for my home gym at work just before Christmas. I got the warthog rack, all the dumbbells, bars, and other equipment for around 6k. I was impressed to learn that their rigs are built to the same specifications as those of Rogue Fitness, which is crazy because Rogue charges twice as much and takes six months to ship. The staff at Mighty Fitness were very transparent and helpful throughout the entire process. Overall, I had an amazing experience with this company.
Disappointing Product Quality and Customer Service: My Experience with Mighty Fitness
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with Mighty Fitness. I mean, their stuff is just not up to par. I got this pyramid rack from them and let me tell you, it was a nightmare to put together. The parts they sent were all wrong and I had to go out and find my own nuts and bolts just to get it to work. And even then, the two sides just wouldn't line up properly. It was a real pain in the butt.
And don't even get me started on their dumbbells. I used them for maybe a month or so, always on these thick carpets, never dropped them from more than half a foot high, didn't do anything out of the ordinary. And then one day, I tried to pick one up between sets and it just broke off! Can you believe that? Luckily, it didn't happen during a rep or I would've been seriously injured.
But the worst part of all this is their customer service. It's virtually non-existent. I wrote to them about the rack issue before and two different people replied back once, but then I never heard from them again. And now that the dumbbell broke, I wrote them another email and still haven't heard back. They acknowledged that they received the email, but they're just not replying. It's really frustrating.
Overall, I would not recommend Mighty Fitness. Their product quality is garbage and their customer service is a joke. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
