We purchased a Miele compact Washer and Dryer for our cabin home. Both are really badly designed. We purchased them because of great experience with their vacuum cleaners - which are great. In contrast the electric dryer is absolutely a nightmare! It has 3 filters and if any of them is not perfectly clean the dryer makes an awful alarm that NEVER stops. We were told by a Miele customer service person to wash and dry the filter. We purchased extra filters so we use the dryer. Even freshly washed and dried filters will still cause this dryer to not work. The dryer needs constant attention when you use it.

Recommendation: Do Not BUY!!
