Everything about this company — from the way they recruit, the way they canvass, the way they sell — is either an outright lie or so full of distortion you don't know the truth until it's too late and you've been damaged.
Midtown Home Improvement operates under the illusion of being a legitimate home improvement company. In reality, it’s a high-pressure, high-ticket sales machine disguised as a home improvement brand. It is built not on craftsmanship or customer care, but on manipulation, deception, and sales scripts designed to prey on both customers and the people they hire.
They lure in job seekers with promises of high commissions and steady leads. You’re told you'll run two or three high-quality appointments per day, work with qualified buyers, and represent a company that values integrity. In truth, you’re sent to homes where there’s no sale possible — broke families, elderly couples on fixed incomes, or first-time homebuyers with no credit.
They train you to lie. They call you a "project manager" so you can position yourself as a consultant, when in reality you're a closer trying to push a $27,000 fence on someone who could get the same thing for $7,000 elsewhere. And they make sure you don't know the pricing or measuring system well enough to succeed — because when you fail, they deny your commission.
You drive thousands of miles, sink your time and energy into building trust with homeowners, and in the end they leave you empty-handed. They use your effort to get the contract signed, then disappear. All you get are draw payments — tiny advances on money they never intend to pay you.
They stall, they dodge, they gaslight. And when you finally ask too many questions, they ghost you.
This company is a scam on every level. It exploits vulnerable homeowners with overpriced products and exploits good people trying to earn an honest living. There is nothing honorable or professional about Midtown Home Improvement. It is the embodiment of predatory capitalism wrapped in a vinyl fence and a phony title.
If you're thinking of working here or buying from them — don't. You’ll regret it, just like I do.
This is the kind of company that hires straight commission sales people and does not pay them. That should tell you all you need to know. I worked for these scammers from August 2024 to December 2024 in Nashville, sold hundreds of thousands, and have yet to be paid what I'm owed. I demanded payment, they ignored me. I have until January 2025 to file a civil suit and file all formal State and Federal complaints.
Buyer and employee beware. These clowns hired 450 people corporate-wide in 2024 and only retained 50. This is not a company with an ounce of integrity.
But the owner gets rich.
Recommendation: Avoid at all cost
