I had to quit my job and am attempting to get disability. I received a final small deposit from my last job on my card. unfortunately there was a disputed charge from a couple of weeks ago. My account was closed. I called to find out what was going on because I wanted to withdraw my balance and close my account.
I talked to a representative for 45 minutes. I was put on hold many, many times.
I was not able to talk to a supervisor after I requested to several times. I only interacted with the representative. I kept getting the same information. I asked to talk to the fraud department and was not able to do that. In the past I was able to do so. I eventually was able to get a card expedited and receive it in 3-4 business days. My other option was a temporary card, but because I have no cash to purchase it and was unable to access my funds that way. I finally got so fed up with the running around that I was being given that I just hung up and told them I was reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.
I am very upset and was very patient but I did not get my issue resolved. I never got an explanation about what the fraudulant charge was. I was also charged a monthly fee of $5.00 on a closed account. They were going to give me a one time credit for the monthly fee but I had had enough and ended our conversation.
I believe this was unprofessional and warrants me reporting this.

Desired outcome: to warn others about their business practices and unsatisfactory resolution to my problem. I hope that I receive the new card or there will be another call placed and I want answers this time.
