I moved out of a mainstreet home on Oct 30th, lease end. I always paid on time, and left home clean! No damages! No trash!... much cleaner than it was when moved in.

Today is Dec 5th, and still my DEPOSIT has not been returned!

(According to Florida law they should have returned in 14-30 days, with accounting, and interest!)

But you can never reach anyone for answers. I actually got through via email and was told within 2 weeks - 3 weeks ago!

And the home I moved into? Another mainstreet home because there were no other options. A home advertised as new construction but its 5 yrs old. This home was GROSS when we moved in. Urine encrusted bathrooms, ALL white walls were covered in multiple touch ups - done in wrong color! Carpets filthy worn and fraying. Tile floors buckling and a mess.I was told too bad so sad basically. I was never allowed to preview the home because their codes wouldn't let me in and I had just few hours left to sign lease or my app would cancel. (More to that story but too much to explain) Mainstreet treats current residents like crap!

BAD BUSINESS!

Desired outcome: I want my deposit in full with interest on house i moved from....and the wall paint/flooring fixed in New house OR a credit issued so I can remedy myself.
