I have been dealing with an ongoing roach infestation in my building managed by MAC Properties since September. Pest control has been treating all units in the building multiple times each month, including mine, yet there has been no improvement at all. The infestation continues to return, and it’s clear that the root cause has not been addressed.
I’ve spoken with other residents and with the pest control technicians, and it appears that certain units in the building may have conditions contributing to the problem. Despite this being reported, management has not taken effective action to resolve the issue or enforce cleanliness standards where needed.
This situation has become extremely disruptive. Preparing my home for repeated treatments is inconvenient, and living with roaches for months is unsanitary and unacceptable. The infestation affects the comfort, cleanliness, and habitability of my home, and it has gone on far too long without a real solution.
I am requesting that MAC Properties take meaningful steps to eliminate the infestation by addressing the source of the problem, not just applying temporary treatments. I also believe a rent adjustment or abatement is reasonable given the ongoing impact on residents.
I hope this review encourages MAC to take this issue seriously and provide a long‑term resolution for everyone living in the building.
