Tessa Kriesel advertises two businesses she owns. One of her businesses is for dog breeding Golden Retrievers and the other is her Web Development service. I hired her to develop a website for my jewelry business. She was very professional at first and communicated with me in a very timely manner, answering my questions in a positive manner, and then provided me with an Estimate/Agreement which I accepted and agreed to pay her half down deposit to start her work which was over $500. We met in person and talked through my project, the timing, and info I needed to get her. She told me she would have the Design phase completed in about 2 weeks. I gave her 3 weeks and upon not hearing from her I checked in. She did not respond to me for several days, I contacted her again and she replied by only saying things have been chaotic. Long story short, after over 2 months I still do not have any of the Design work or my Domain Registration information. She has repeatedly told me she has my Design concept work done and will be sending to me "today" and I never receive it. She has even told me she did send it to me, but she did not. She has lied multiple times, told me multiple different excuses, and provides me with little to no communication. When I do hear from her it is only by email (she refuses to call me, even when I told her I just wanted to talk about this for 5 minutes), and she is totally unprofessional and actually rude to me as if I am bothering her by trying to communicate about my project, get my Domain information or get her to return my $540. I am forced to take the legal route to address this unfortunate situation. I want to make sure this does not happen to anyone else who may want to hire her to do any Web related work or thinks it is a good idea to give her a deposit for a puppy. She has stolen my money and she will likely steal yours as well.
Tessa Kriesel did send me the Domain Registration information immediately after I sent her a link to this complaint that I posted above. She also sent me design concepts this evening. I had posted this complaint after becoming extremely frustrated as a business owner that I hired and paid someone to do work for me and then not receiving the work on at least 10 occasions when she told me I would. This was my last resort to see if I could get any work from Tessa before starting the legal process. I will keep this complaint up until the work is completed in full, on-time, to my satisfaction.
I never did get my website from Tessa Kriesel...she has dragged me along for 5 months now. She recently said she would send me a disc of her work to have someone else complete my website. I don't want that as it will cost me even more money to find someone who can look at what she has done (assuming I would ever actually get the disc from Tessa). I just want my money back. I searched on this complaint site for other complaints about Tessa Kriesel and she has done the same pupy scam to many others who have posted other complaints on this website under Lucky Star Goldens. Dennis Hase, call me at [protected]. I have contact information for a bunch of people who were also scammed by Tessa and we are discussing our options.
Tessa refunded $250 of my $540 deposit today. $14 of the deposit was for the domain name for 1 year, so she still owes me $276, which she said she work on paying me in the next few upcoming weeks. I will update again when this happens.
Tessa repaid the remaining $276 that she owed me as of this week. It took her 3 years to give back my full deposit, but it sounds like she is now on a good path for her personal and professional life and I wish her the best of luck in the future.
Tessa repaid me $250 about a year and a half after I originated this complaint. She recently contacted me (via email - kriesel.tessa@gmail.com) and has repaid the remaining $276 as of this week, so my original complaint has been resolved.
Tessa did repay my deposit after I posted on this forum. I am very happy she did the right thing and have no further ill will. I retract my previous comments, including calling her a "###". Tessa indicated she was having a bad year and I for one accept that. I wish her the best in her future endeavors.
Matt Becka, I never took a deposit from you. I messaged you. If you truly did send me a deposit please email me proof. However, I haven't been doing any freelancing since this post nor have I don't business with anyone named Matt.
Matt Becka - I have no clue who you are and never did I take a deposit from someone with the name of Matt. Please email me per my message and we can resolve it, IF that is the even the case. Which I highly doubt it's true.
Is it too late to get in on this? Tessa Kriesel agreed to develop a website for my wholesale business and never followed through. I gave her a deposit of $250 and never heard anything from her. I also followed up and she gave me the run around on deadlines and work completed. I have pages of emails backing this up... It was a mess and I ended up dropping it because I didn't have time to pursue in small claims, but it sounds like Tessa is a grade a ###.
Sounds like Tessa is broke as a joke if it takes her several weeks to come up with $276. A job would help. Tessa you are pathetic.

I already refunded everyone's money and I am not STEALING anything! I had a litter that passed away at 5 weeks old due to Veterinarian error and at that point already had a lot of money and time invested in the moneys. I lost over $10, 000 on the litter and I did repay the deposits back within the 1 year period that my website clearly stated. I have never had such a tramatic litter for the buyers, puppies and myself. I did everything to my best of my ability financially. As for Laura, she is being refunded as well EVEN though I did complete for $500+ in website work for her. However, she says she was not able to use the files so I am refunding her anyways.
She will never learn her lesson and if they just keep slapping her on the wrist she will continue to scam people. I know this as I took her to court in 2007 for stealing my identity. She received (if I remember straight) 20 days in jail and 21 on house arrest. Contact Dan Gardener out of Cass/crow wing county courthouse as he is the one who assisted me with my identity theft case. She is a sad excuse for a human being and doesn't know what honest work is!

Does this creature ever tell the truth. I honestly want to see her in prison for defrauding Wanda and I, and all of you honest hard working good people.
My phone is [protected] I am sure that putting all of our documents together and organize our efforts, we can put Tessa in prison for a long time.
Everyone should take each piece of correspondence with Tessa, the breeder with the mail and Vets. (emails, letters, photo copy of checks, etc.) and scan them into a pdf.
Give the pdf a file name with the date of the correspondence and your initials. Then we all forward our emails to each other, followed by all the files.
We will organize them into a time line which will show her fraud, lies and extent of her scamming business.
When completed will issue to the D.A. and press for criminal charges with Otter Tail County's District Attorney David Hauser in Fergus Falls Minnesota.
Tessa Kriesel stole $500 from my wife for a puppy she claims she had. She is a flat outright liar. Do not trust her. my wife tried to buy a puppy from her to surprise me at the time when our 12 year old yellow lab was dying from cancer. What kind of person does that ? I will tell you -Tessa Kriesel. She is a thief and should be in prison. There are many out there who were scamed by this person. PLease file criminal charges with Otter Tail County's District Attorney David Hauser in Fergus Falls Minnesota. You can also take her to small claims court "Minnesota Conciliation Court" - find info. online. Her maiden name is "Pollock" check that out also. most people don't even know this complaint board exists. Think of how many others there may be ? Read her bold faced lies above about never returning a deposit. She is a thief !
We gave Tessa kriesel a $500.00 deposit for a pup and never received a pup. Tried to ask her about getting the deposit back and have not heard anything from her.
Lucky Star Goldens has NOTHING to do with this transaction. On the contrary, I had a few personal hurdles come up that has delayed progress. Designs were submitted to client this evening, as well as Domain ownership handed over. Posting a complain on complaints board is no way to "hurry" someone along. I have never once not delivered what I have promised, and never not returned a deposit IF the situation needed a refund.
