Hello Lauren x7009

Thank you for your awful service...
your so called "customer care" title should be removed immediately...AND as far as you being the only person to escalate my issue to in all of Living Social? Hmmm, Ive already written to the CEO of company.

After reading the reviews from other customers posted all over so many sites from all around the world about LS services it is more than crystal clear that I am one of thousands that has a complaint about your
lack of customer care and the LS site in general. The reviews speak for themselves - they are all Negative!

You were absolutely no help, did not resolve the issue and provided NO customer care - the advertisment for ISO Beauty Hair Dryers was 100% misleading.
The Deal Ad showed the ISO Beauty site where there were several dryers to choose from - after finding one, I purchased the voucher - nowhere on the deal ad did it mention there were limitations?
Upon receiving the voucher - the site to choose the product from changed! the hair dryer I originally bought the voucher for was not included! Whoever wrote this ad for you, should be investigated! It doesnt make any sense. There were no limitations to the hair dryer products on the Deal Ad ! And why would you post the ISO main site where there is a broader selection of dryers?

This is totally misleading! AND BAD Business!

I will post this message all over the place on the net and report you to the better business bureau - all your other Living Social EX customers are already there; ISO Beauty Co. is hearing about
about this case too
The fact that you could not even offer up one solution to keep me as a customer is disgusting and you called youself the manager with no other persons to speak with.
Nevermind the Deal ad anymore - Im stuck with it - but more importantly, you have absolutely no experience in customer care or how to keep customers returning!
Apparently you missed training day on "How NOT to loose the Customer"
Too bad for Living Social ! No wonder all the complaints

I made the mistake of ordering a knife sharpener through these people. "Special Deal ... $80 or some such thing - reduced to $27" etc. After much delay, a dilapidated box arrived containing a machine that made a lot of noise but achieved nothing. A search of the box failed to reveal the manufacturing company or the country of origin. A search of the Living Social website also turned up a big fat zero when looking for a contact point to make a complaint. Not a deal ... a rip off. Needless to say, I am now unsubscribed. I have also warned the girl who put me on to them and asked her to pass on the message. These sort of people give internet buying a bad name.

Negative experience. Signed up for window cleaning. Paid $50.00 Voucher good for 1 year. When I called the window cleaning company, they suggested I ask for a refund from LivingSocial. Apparently they were too booked. I sent LivingSociall a refund request. No answer. So I called 2 weeks later. They turned down refund request. They only refund within 5 days of purchase. Don't purchase anything with a service or especially travel from LivingSocial UNLESS you can afford to lose your money.

Two weeks ago (9/06/12) I ordered a DC jumper off the living social website. It finally arrived today (19/06/12) as soon as i got home i opened the parcel containing my new jumper only to find an imitation jumper instead. I ordered a DC jumper not a replica DC jumper. So I phoned customer service and after waiting on hold for 20 minutes I finally got through. The girl on the other line seemed polite but sounded doubtful of my claim. I told her what I felt the evidence was supporting my theory of the jumper being fake with was. Poor Material, Poor brand logo printing, no brand tags embedded in the fabric, made in Pakistan (i have another dc jumper which is made in china), a foreign company logo on the jumper as well. Her response to that was all she could assure me would be that the matter would be investigated and I would hear back from them, but not for 5-7 working days. This really infuriated me. I payed good money for a jumper and got a piece of $HI+ imitation jumper instead and now I'm not even guaranteed a refund. I now hate this site and urge anyone to stay away from it by all means.

I recently purchased the Living Social deal for All Fun and Games in Apex, NC. When I went to the store I found that their prices were much higher prices for the same items at extremely similar stores nearby. In addition to the strangely high prices there were signs up throughout the store saying that the products were permanently discounted for various percentages, however these permanent discounts did not apply if you had a living social voucher. I understand that living social deals cannot be combined with other discounts, however the situation in this store made it absolutely obvious me that they increased their usual prices specifically so that the people who purchased the living social deal would not actually save money -- they put up the permanent discount signs so that people without the living social deal wouldn't have to pay the jacked up prices. I will never be purchasing from living social or All Fun and Games again.

LivingSocial is the WORST among the lot of group consumer coupon companies. DO NOT buy from them. They incite consumers to buy from them for deals that are unredeemable, then they will steal your money and refuse to refund it even if their Terms of Service and your state laws require them to issue a refund. What's worse is their customer service. They will ignore your emails and simply not answer the phone when you call or place you on hold for extended amounts of time.

If there's something you really want to buy, just call the business directly and ask them to match the offer for you. If they refuse to do it, then that tells you what kind of businesses LivingSocial works with, so why give them your hard-earned money anyway?

Wow, can I say scam? I would never do business with them for they do not screen their merchants, the one I went, cosmetic salon was in a $#*!ty stripmall with dirty bathrooms with NO hand towels. I wonder what their employee wipe their hands with before touching your face! I asked for refund, and was told that they DO NOT give you refunds after 5 days. Who ever gets to redeem their deal within 5 days? Appointment takes a while to get and goods usually arrive after 5 days, in which case it's too late to find out flaws and etc. customer service was terrible and rude. I finally got my refunds, after hours of going back and forth for 2 hours, and they gave me 'store credit' and I went to use it to buy take out, and my cc was charged. I email them about it, only to be told that I can't use my refund towards food. Absolutely terrible experience. Stay with Groupon, they are amazing in terms of screening merchants, customer service is very helpful, and just all around smooth experience. Go to hell Livingsocial because that's how I felt dealing with you.

We bought what appeared to be a good deal on some tile flooring cleaning from a local Phoenix business. After the purchase when I downloaded the voucher, it said in fine print that it was no good for travertine, or other stone tile floors, which is what I bought it for! When I requested a refund, I have repeatedly been told there is no refund. This is a blatant example of violation of DTPA. I want to do something about it. Anyone out there feel the same about this site?

Total scam. Was ripped off by the 1st deal from the vendor (vendor wanted proof of purchase/credit card and kept charging on the card). Now, 2 years later, bought tickets to Cirque de Soleil. They sent me tickets a day before the event in the LAST row in a corner section and they were CLASS 1 tickets! Tried to get in touch with them, but no phone contact. When I sent an email, I received a response that they can't do anything because I had purchase this deal 3 weeks before! I explained that I just received the tickets and the seats were crummy, but to no avail. Stay away.

Lack of customer service and clever misrepresentation results in being stuck with a certificate that you'll have a hard time using or being very disappointed in. Daily deals are great and I've found Groupon is a far superior company and Livingsocial is a rip-off wanna be. Buyer beware.

Ex: By hiding the "fine print" in tabs, the buyer is not easily aware of the many limitations of using the deal until you actually print it out and THEN it's very apparent. Take a look at their websites. Groupon is honest and clearly represents all and any limitations/restrictions. Livingsocial uses multiple tabs to hide these.

Ex: Many of the hotel deals are dumps, but Livingsocial always uses beautiful photo of the general location, of which the hotel does not have this view, much less being located any where near this gorgeous mountain vista or azure blue lake. They will have tempting titles like "Yosemite" in the headline, but if you go to Google maps, you'll find that the hotel is an HOUR away from Yosemite off of a highway surrounded by concrete, not trees.

Ex: Livingsocial does NOT invite prospective buyers to ask questions before buying. Groupon readily has an "Ask a Question" option as well as a clearly presented link to the vendor's website. Livingsocial does not provide a link to the vendor's website so that you can thoroughly investigate just what you will be getting. They want to fool and trap you into buying...too much information will obviously turn you off to the dogs they are trying to sell you.

Ex: when you contact Livingsocial, you will only get an form response that basically says the only time they provide refunds is if the business goes out of business. I buy several Groupons a month and once in while find that I can't use one for whatever reason. Groupon happily and quickly refunds my money. THAT'S customer service and THAT'S why I continue to use Groupon and not these lesser companies like Livingsocial.

I have been using Groupon and Living Social for a few years, not until this year, when I could not finalize a "deal" with Living Social did I find out their "fine print" details. Purchased a getaway to Monterey area - paid $99 for it on Living Social, then tried calling the phone number on the voucher - never an answer! I contacted the Customer Service department and they said "read the rules" no refunds will be made. I stated this purchase had no value as I could not obtain services from their merchant. They said Too Bad. Will never buy another thing from LivingSocial and would caution others to be wary, as they have very poorany customer service!

I am in tears and will never purchase from LS again. I've been a long time customer, but never again. I purchased a coupon for a photobooth to use at my wedding. When I called to book my reservation, the merchant said she was completely booked and to call LS to ask for a refund. When I called and emailed, LS said they could do nothing because it had been past their 5 day time limit for refunds. They wouldn't even try to resolve the issue or even offer a partial refund or deal bucks. I'm out of $425 and no photobooth for my wedding. Worst customer service ever! Unbelievable! How will I recover from such a large purchase?

Bought a coupon w/ Living Social for a carpet cleaning service. Wasn't able to reach the business vial email or phone...called Living Social to ask for a refund and tell them that it may not be a legit business they're selling vouchers for. In turn, they told me to keep calling and there's nothing they can do about my money except to give me Living bucks that I could use towards the next 'fake' voucher purchase. No thanks. Very irresponsible customer relations & the companies they deal with.

I was a merchant who ran a deal and have the same complaints as many others who used this to bring in business. There was no cap on the number you could offer, so I had 800 people wanting to sign up for painting classes at the same time. Yikes. I did the best I could and felt that I signed the paperwork. so I accept the responsibility of delivering a good product. LS, was definitely not looking out for my best interest, they could be so successful if they really gave more of a value to businesses. On another note, I will never buy a voucher from them again as a customer again. I knew the local rep from doing my deal with her and specifically asked her if a 'pedal pub' deal allowed you to drink beer while riding on a fun looking cart, while a pedal pub employee steered the cart. She said it was. "absolutely!". When I went to redeem the deal, this isn't what it was. I just wanted deal bucks or something similar, not even a refund. I emailed customer service twice and got emails that were obviously prewritten since they really didn't address any of the issues I mentioned (being given wrong info by rep). I got one more email, saying they were sorry. No further responses. In another experience, I bought a helicopter tour for my family for Christmas. I made a huge deal of how fun this was going to be to do together. When we tried to redeem, they were out of business. Not LS fault, but inconvenient. They did give a refund for that since I called before the expiration. (What would have happened if I didn't call within the expiration? hmmm...) The last straw was a voucher for the children's museum, we didn't get to use it in time ( I knew the limits, so that was my fault) but we intended to use the value toward our tickets, as it said we could (and as I allowed my customers to do). When we presented the voucher, they said it was expired. I showed them the part below that said the value we actually paid could be used. They had to go get another person to help, she didn't know how to apply it to the charges and seemed a little confused. We were holding up the line and it was embarassing. It was like we were trying to scam them out of money. I just ended up paying the whole amount so we could get on with our day. It's a great concept, I just hope LS starts to look out for the businesses a little more. Maybe offer more to help them manage the large numbers, and allow a caps on the numbers of vouchers a business can handle. As for customers, email us back! I answered calls at home at 10 at night just trying to manage the large influx of people signing up (at a loss to me, btw). The least you could do is email me back or aknowledge my issues! Who knows the amout of money LS has at my expense at this point.

You should understand, that this is not to please you, this is to make money with your help. Just another money making machine.
Then, after you pay your money and try to redeem your voucher, you find that merchants are not really interested to provide that service to you. They are not accommodating with schedules, they do not keep promises, they do not call you, as promised, they cancel appointments, etc.

And then - the worst. You find all that small print, and realize, that you should read that multi-page policies before purchase, not after, poor you...

Their customer service is horrible. I bought a voucher for a "mobile" car detailing for $30.00. When I tried to schedule my appt. I was told that the "mobile" option was an additional $30 -$45 depending on my location. This was not mentioned in the ad. I tried tyo get a refund but LS said "sorry" no refund. Another purchase was for a massage. The massage location went out of business but LS refuses to refund saying I am mistaken, Buyer beware.

Lodged multiple email complaints requesting help on this matter to both the Diamond Forever customer service email and the Living Social customer service email. Received one generic 'Hi There, Bear with me while I look into that for you' from the Diamond Forever Site but not even that brush-off response from Living Social.

Called living social and after eventually getting through to a call advisor, he said 'bear with me while i look into that for you' then PUT ME ON HOLD AND AFTER A FEW MINUTES OF THAT THE LINE WENT SILENT.

Customer care? Non-existent. Their "refund policy" says that they won't refund unless the company you purchase from goes bust - so i f the company you purchase from never delivers on your item neither side has to cough up. THE SYSTEM ALLOWS SUCH SCAM LOOP-HOLES.

I purchased a Living Social voucher that expired on 4 June. The merchant was closed on 4 June and 3 June. Hence, the voucher should have expired on 2 June. When I tried to use the voucher on both 3 June and 4 June, I was obviously out of luck.

The merchant saw the problem with this and extended the deal for a few days. Unfortunately, Living Social did not provide her with email addresses of people who purchased the deal, so people didn't know that the the deal had been extended.

I contacted Living Social about this problem three times, twice by email and once by telephone. Their customer service was polite and the customer service representative even agreed that the voucher listed the wrong expiry date, but he refused to extend the life of the voucher, offer a refund, or even to offer a credit. Even the merchant thinks that they should have done so.

Buyer beware.

Purchased an expensive voucher for a cosmetic procedure and when i went to the Dr to use it she TALKED me OUT of getting it done. So i lose the money and no procedure and the Dr got my money without having to do anywork. I am sure if i was about to pay full price she would have been talking me into it. I am sure this happens often when dealing with any medical typed procedure. If a deal seems to good to be true...it probably IS. NO more coupons for me.

I got 3 people to buy this deal and they promised my credit for my deal would be automatic. It was not. I have emailed them twice - no response. I have called them 8 times during normal business hours to get a recording to call back during normal business hours and then get disconnected. I would have to say they are going belly up and ripping off the customers. The other reason might be some knucklehead is trying to run this thing out of his closet. Either way - DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH LIVINGSOCIAL.COM because you cannot reach them via email or telephone. RIP OFF!

Thought I ordered dance classes for my granddaughter; however, something went very wrong and they never got the order. Now, on 12/19/11, I have to find another gift. I have dealt with Groupon many times and never had any problem. My other order from Living Social for MadDonald's burgers was also very late coming.

The Customer Service for Living Social is terrible. Took me 3 days to get a real person. The phone system is terrible and rude. They actually hang up on you if their representatives are too busy - and their representatives are VERY busy handling their problems. Do not deal with them unless you want to be disappointed.

I purchased a nest of tables via Living Social. I allowed the 21 days for delivery as per the description. After 22 days when the tables hadn't arrived, I contacted Living Social who told me I needed to contact the supplier. They had no name for the supplier just a mobile number. The 'Gentleman' who answered the phone was very rude, told me that 30 sets of tables including mine had been destroyed in a crash and that I had to contact Living Social for a refund. I contacted Living Social who told me they had to wait for Merchant Services to authorise a refund. 48 hours later I called again to be told they were waiting to inspect the tables with a view to redelivering them. By this point I was not interested in receiving the tables and I just wanted a refund but no one will tell me when I can expect this. They have had my money for over a month, the customer service people just spout the same old patronizing rubbish without actually helping. As the customer I am out of pocket with no information. If it goes wrong, it is really bad!

I bought a voucher from " The Barefoot Bodhi" in San Antonio, Tx at Living Social eight (8) months ago and so far I couldn't use it. Tell me: How a business that have little availability to redeem vouchers can announce a deal? This kind of thing is not right-- to say the least! I had to call Living Social 3 times until getting a credit to use it an another deal since I could not be refunded. On one of these calls, a L.S. representative hung up on my face. I do not recommend neither "The Barefoot Bodhi" in San Antonio, Tx nor Living Social to anybody. This was my first time buying a deal from Living Social and I had an awful experience. For while, I'll stick with Groupon that never gave me any problems so far -- and I have bought a lot from it.

I purchased and used a living social voucher for a mobile car detailing. The detailers totally destroyed the electrical system in the vehicle. They literally took their power hose and washed the inside of the car. The owner of the business never fixed the car, they ran away and are now ignoring our phone calls. Turns out they do not have a business license nor do they carry insurance. When I purchased from living social, I purchased under the "assumption" that these small businesses are legitimate and at the very least, carry a business license. Turns out, I was wrong at my expense. Currently, the car is junk and the repair fees are over $3k. I have contacted living social several times and it wasn't until I literally screamed on the phone to speak to a supervisor that they actually put me through to one. It was one excuse after another and never did they apologize or even attempt to mediate the situation and to top it off, no one ever got back to me when they told me they would. It was hands of, not our responsibility, we are not liable. I am no lawyer but common sense tells me if living social sold me something that was not a legal business, then they do hold some sort of responsibility for the situation. Anyways, we are currently pursuing different legal options. I'm going to get them and the business. We were straight up lied to and scammed. No matter how many hotshot lawyers they have to write fancy words to protect them, this was straight up highway robbery.

I think Living Social should watch the deals they put on their site. Too many bad apples U-Centre Massage Calgary SW ...If I could rate this place it would be a -10, I would black mark it! I went today (bought those rip off vouches-real cheap) go figure you get what you pay for. You walk into this hole in the wall cluttered office...felt like a PI office. I went for a foot bath and massage. 1st off she tells me the voucher was wrong on LivingSocial, it only covers relaxation massage, not deep tissue...etc. Then I wait for her to prepare my "foot bath" and she comes in my room with a grey garbage container lined with a black garbage bag and water in it. I turned that down, told her to forget it.

My massage was in a separate dingy room no ambiance or relaxing atmosphere, felt like I was in an alley. The face holders had a paper towel with a 3/4 rip in it for you to plant your face, the towel she covered me with was dingy grey, musty and damp and had a huge rip in it. Discusting place, I have 2 other vouchers that I can't get a refund for, wouldn't dare give to my worst enemy, chalk it up to a loss.

I bought a lawn service deal from this website thinking that if they are good, I will keep using them for my lawn. It turned out to be a disaster. I bought the deal in March, contacted them in April when the Spring started and lawn needed to be mowed badly. They said they were overwhelmed with the livingsocial customers, next possible time would be somewhere in June. I would have to wait. Fine, that's understandable. I waited. I contacted them again in June, they said they were still scheduling our service. Till now at the end of August, we still haven't got our service. And it is fall. So we contacted the merchant again they told me to get refund from Livingsocial. After emailing back and forwards, talking something about it is against their policy to refund the money when the merchandise is in business, but they only can refund me their fake money. blabla...who wants their fake money! Ridiculous. Isn't it simple that if I couldn't get my service, I should get my money back?! It is completely wasting my time. I'm deleting my account on this stupid website, not going to use them again. I have Groupon as well, never have any problem.

I have used Living Social before for meals, so I decided to try one of their "escape kits." Bad decision! After I bought the voucher, I tried to call the hotel a couple of times to be sure I got the reservation I wanted. Can't get through. Finally, on the 3rd try, I got thru but was told by the hotel guy that I had to book on line, even though voucher says you can call for reservation. So I sent the email as the guy instructed, and it bounces back. Now I call back and I am pretty steamed. The guy takes my info over the phone but then tells me I have to wait 24-48 hours before they'll even tell me whether I have the reservation. In other words, this is just a "request." They can let me know in 24-48 hours that the dates I requested are not available and then we start the process all over again. BS! So I call Living Social and guess what? - the recording says they are experiencing high call volume (probably a lot of other pissed off people trying to redeem their vouchers) and to call back later - and then the phone just disconnects me. Not even the option of waiting on hold. What a SCAM! Stay away from Living Social! And Privilege Hotels, for that matter. BTW, I have used Groupon with no such problems - and they always answer the phone!

I ended up loosing an $800+ Adventure Deal to Costa Rica (not including airfare, hotels in other areas or activities, etc totaling over $2, 000) using LivingSocial after a problem with my Passport, two days prior to departure, that was completely out of my hands. It left me stranded in the US and unable to redeem the Adventure voucher/gift card. As you can imagine, in these economic times, I do not have over $800 to just throw away. This is not a $30 dinner coupon where I would cut my losses and learn my lesson.

I explained that I was actually looking to RESCHEDULE the trip for another available date in the very near future. I was NOT asking for A REFUND. Yet LS refused my request. As of this letter, LS had an Adventure Deal that was exactly the same (same location/hotel stay and same dates as my original voucher) with the same available dates. Yet I was told my deal could not be rescheduled; in effect, I forfeit my deal. The CS rep at LS read (verbatim) to me their rigid policy of "you must cancel within 7 days of purchasing if you want a refund. You can also gift it to someone else for the same exact days." No exceptions. This is an INTERNATIONAL trip mind you. You can barely plan a US trip within 7 days, let alone an international trip. The option of gifting it is ridiculous since there are virtually no odds that someone you know can leave for an international trip in less than 2 days.

The interesting (and most unfair) part is LivingSocial had to reschedule ME because they would not have a Guide during my ORIGINAL date. I was the only one to purchase it for a particular date so they were not providing a Guide. So I accepted the change in plans, despite financial and work obligations I had already pre-arranged for my original date. The CS rep I spoke to on 9/17 added, "there is no one else that can override this policy, " when I asked to speak to someone else. He again belittled me by re-reading the policy (for the third or fourth time).

Bought a $49 coupon for Aall Bright Window Cleaning (20 windows). When they arrived, I only had two smallish windows to clean and two sets of sliding doors. The guy wanted me to sign a contract to pay him an extra $20 for travel. When I expressed surprise and said that would make it a lot for a couple of windows, he declared that he didnt need the hassle and they were just leaving and would not do the windows. I didn;t refuse to pay the extra and would have but he didn;t give me the chance. He lost it because I was taken by surprise and expressed it. Of course, after trying to get Living Social on the phone for over an hour, when I finally got them, they took his side and said the coupon had been cashed in and no refund for me. That is most certainly the last time I'll use them. I'll stick with Groupon who seem to value their customers a lot more and offer pretty decent customer service, unlike Living Social. As for Aall Bright Windows, the guy needs some serious chill pills. I believe he has a bad case of small man disease.

Got a gift of a 90 minute flight bought through Living Social. They make it almost impossible to redeem. First I had to sign up on line with a voucher code, I was then asked to print a form to send to them with the details I had filled in on line (why?) Note I had to supply 4 first class stamps (no idea why because I never got anything in the post). I had to select 4 slots each a week long, apparently you cannot just book the flight you have to first apply for a slot! Then I hear nothing for 8 months! despite constantly emailing to ask when my dates would be confirmed. Finally I get an email telling me I have a 3 week window to book, and this can only be done via a phone line which is only open 9-5 Mon to Fri, AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Livingsocial totally scams people out of their money. I have bought several "deals" from them before I realized that much of their offerings aren't valid. I bought a car detailing voucher for a place that doesn't exist. But because I didn't figure that out within 30 days of purchase, they refused to return MY MONEY to me. Then again, I tried to use a weekend get-away voucher, way before the expiration date, and the place of business was completely booked for the following 4 months. Livingsocial refused to refund my $160, even when I was within the 30 day return window.

It's unethical. It's unkind. Avoid Livingsocial.

I bought a spa voucher... the whole thing was very deceptive because it was advertised as a couple's day at the spa...but none of the services were actually done as a couple. For all I know that was the spa's advertisement, though, and shouldn't blame LS from that. However, we had a multitude of other problems with the spa, so I tried to submit feedback and request a refund (even if it was just partial). Not only did I not get a refund, I didn't even get a "We're so sorry" or ANY sort of response from them!

I live in the United States, I received an email offer for a Banksy decal for $25, plus $12.99 delivery. I freakin' love Banksy so I bought it right away! When I went to order it I noticed that the International shipping was $34.99. International? The vendor was in Australia. So I wrote a nice email to livingsocial explaining that I do not live in Australia, and that I am not going to use this coupon and to please refund it and, by the way, it not say Australia anywhere on the offer/coupon and why am I getting offers for Australia anyway.

Over the course of several emails I learned that the offer was for Australia, and that since I was outside of the 5 day window for refunds I was not going to get a refund. Also that email contained two customer service phone numbers for my convenience; one for Australian residents and one for New Zealand residents. ? So I again asked for an exception since I DON'T LIVE IN AUSTRALIA. The policy was cut and pasted, the Australia glitch was never addressed.

This is terrible customer service, Answer the question, address the problem, help the customer. The former customer.

Was supposed to run an ad, Quit my job only to find out they can take up to a year or two before they run your ad . Which I was never told and still have not been told . I gave the sales rep several leads thinking hey treat others the way you want to be treated . So they ran the leads before they ran my ad ?

Two months later wondering what is going on, seeing that the sales reps wife got a job at a place and it only took a week or two before there ad ran, I thought I would inquire as to what was going on ? i was told, well your in line to run next but realize that there is a fairly healthy queue, To me this sounds like oh well if a bigger and better company comes along or has deep pockets they get to run first . I asked the sales rep about this and got no response . THe sales rep ignores you if you are not bringing him money or business . So I went to check the site to see if anyone was running this was thursday and there you go there is an ad in the same line of business running . SO I thought ok, I should be next . Someone I know checked the site this morning to find out that there is a different ad in the same line of business running . WTF ? This company doesn't care about small business . I rank them as an equivalent of oil companies or worse.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I bought a coupon for a restaurant that I was really looking forward to trying, but when I called to make reservations, the person I spoke to was so incredibly rude and sexist ( I am a woman) that I refused to support the business...turns out I was speaking to the owner! When I try to get my $$ back form LivingSocial, they refused because I was outside of their refund policy timeline...I explained to them that I had had every intention of using my coupon and related my experience to them, but they were not interested! Horrible, horrible customer service. I will NEVER use them again.

I purchased a 24 Hour Car Luxury Car Rental for my son's 7th Birthday(its what he wanted). I made the reservation with the place 2 months before I needed it to make sure I would have it available. 3 Days before I decided to call the location to confirm my reservation, at which point they had said, not only would I not get the vehicle I reserved, I couldn't get the ANY car on the days I reserved it.

I called livingsocial to request a refund, and they gave their "7 days no refund policy" ... I had every intention of using the product, The merchant they represent didn't honor the product. I tried via email, only to get the standard excuse letter. I requested a manager contact me. Have not received any return correspondence to that. I tried calling during business hours, and get we are busy, call back during business hours recording... No wonder why they are so busy, with quality management like that...

Beware of LivingSocial! they do not refund your coupon after one week under any complain! That's why scammers like them so much. What happened: the scam-business are closing for couple of months and put the offer on LivingSocial, when you buy it and call them it turns out they are closed until almost end of expiration date, in my case it was 4 days, and I was unable to use the coupon for this rest 4 days, so I have to pay FULL PRICE. I complained to LivingSocial support but they said 'it's out of our return policy' same like they do not care about terms and conditions provided with offers. I never had troubles refunding Google Offers coupons even after expiration date.

I will NEVER use LivingSocial again. I purchased 2 vouchers through them for what turned out to be a less than reputable merchant. I asked for and was granted a refund. 3 weeks later and I still haven't received the refund. I get conflicting answers from customer service and basically accused of trying to extort my $75 from them. And that's when I can get an answer. It takes 2 days for an email reply and 20 minutes of holding to get someone on the phone.

I've been told the refund went through to my card on file. Neither my bank nor I have any evidence of receiving the refund. Then I was told, no, it was sent to my purchasing card. I closed that card account EIGHT MONTHS AGO. I have applied for a chargeback through my bank and pray they'll help me where LivingSocial has clearly failed.

Recently purchased a deal for a 2 room carpet cleaning through LivingSocial.com. The deail was $65. When the technician came out he told me that the $65 is very basic formula and won't get the carpet clean. I ended up paying $150 for a different formula to be used. I actually snuck a peak to see his other invoices done earlier in the day and looks like they all got charged $150 more, too. So what I intially throught would cost me $65 came out to be $215. Deceiving.

Their "Buy 3 get 1 Free" offer may be bogus. On two separate occasions I have done this deal, but at the last minute Living Social canceled one of the purchases and thus did not honor the FREE part of the offer. The first time they blamed it on a technical glitch with the website. The second time their customer service department was so slow to respond that the deal expired before the issue could be resolved. I gave them the benefit of the doubt after the first screw-up, but now that it has happened twice, I think the promotion is a false offer. Additionally, their customer service department was extremely inept in both cases!
