was contracted by level to service dollar general store for 09-10 snow season i sumitted all the paper work they required starting in oct 09 as the snow started to fall i was maintaining the lot as the winter went on the invoices were sent in as well as the completed work orders signed by the manager for every time the store was serviced around jan 2010 i call to check on the status of my payment and that when the run around began the claimed that they never recieved this form and/or this piece of paper sent them everything they requested more than 1x to more than one person now but while this was all going on they did not hesitate to call me all hours of the day to go out to maintain this store now it is feb 2010 and in southwestern pa we had 1 heck of a month of snow over 4ft of snow in 2 weeks so now i have plowed all season with no invoices paid i supplied all labor and materials for the season only to find out in april that they did a weather audit and stated that they felt that we did not get the amount of snow that i invoiced for eventhough i has job tickets signed by the store manager for everytime that i was thereand billed for the total of all the invoices was around 14, 000.00 and i the audit they submitted to me was 5, 500.00 big difference in price now when you call for accounts payable it goes straight to the coo of the companey christine

Our company was mowing a property-Idle Mobil Property in Palmetto, FL for 5 months 2010 and have only been paid for one of the services. We cancelled our contract. They stall by rejecting invoices, they do not call you back, they say on their A/P voice mail you can leave a message, but it would be faster for us to respond to our email (kcassetta@levelonemaintenance.com) The only one that actually speaks to you is your service rep., but she can not do anything about the money owed to you. The director of operations is a Steven M Ross. Terrible company to work for-has anyone that has filed a complaint got any of the money owed to you yet? Let me know.

This is the BEST news to me...Karma is a ###. Steve and Kristen I hope you get what you deserve! Not only did you not pay good, hardworking people you also treated the whole staff like ###. Used and abused everyone who worked there...I hope that is what happens to you when you are sitting in JAIL. What goes around comes around and it bit you in the ###. FYI: any comment saying they weren't involved was probably posted by them...thats what they would do when it actually was a company as well. GUESS WHAT your LIES caught up to you.

I was in the same position as many unfortunate other contractors. However, based on inside information, it was Kristen Cassetta and Steve Ross that embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from Level 1 Maintenance that contributed to so many contractors being not paid for services. This is not the first time the company has filed bankruptcy and reopened under another name. Check who the owners and partners are before dealing with any property maintenance company in Ma and FL.

I am also in the same position with Level 1 Maintenance, they have left so many of us with unpaid balances but it is Level 1 and the corporate officers that are responsible. From what I have heard, Kristen Cassetta and Steve Ross left the company after finding out about fraudulant activies by the owner and the director of client services, John Chalmers. I also heard that he has been charged with felonies in the past to include fraud and theft. I also learned John Chalmers had bankrupt his last landscaping, snowplowing company too and did the same thing to the subcontractors, leaving them high and dry.

I am in the same situation. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. I suggest you do the same. FYI-Kristin Cassetta and Steve Ross have opened a new company SKR Premier Contracting, 10 Technology Drive Suite 40, Unit 38, Hudson, MA 01749. I am sure they are getting ready for winter so they can scam more hard working people. Report them.

Yes they are horrible to deal with. I just canceled the contract today. Ive given up on them I have 5 overdue invoices with them, one of them is 123 days overdue. Silly me for continuing on for so long.
