I bought a car from this dealer and paid in full, but they didn't give me the pink slip. I've been trying to fix my registration issue for 8 months now, but every time I call them, they just pass me around or send me to voicemail. They lied to me and said they couldn't submit my registration because of the missing paperwork. As a result, I've been pulled over by the police multiple times for not having a license plate and the right documents.

On March 30, 2022, I bought a 2012 Audi A4 2.0T from Laguna Motors for $10,000 in cash. I got all the paperwork to prove it. Then, on April 4, 2022, I got locked up and they impounded my car. I was stuck in there for 9 days, and when I finally got out, the new owner contacted me and made me buy my own car back for $2,000.00. When I got my car back, there was a check engine light on that wasn't there before, and it had a bunch of other serious mechanical problems. Laguna Motors told me to take it to Inner-City Auto Repair & Tires (*** (***1). So, I did that, but they kept my car for over a month and didn't fix anything. I called them so many times, but all they said was they were waiting to hear from *** (the owner of Laguna Motors). But *** never got in touch with them, so I had to go pick up my car, and it still had all these major mechanical issues. And guess what? I still haven't gotten the title or license plates for my car. So, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, I drove over to Laguna Motors to get some answers. I wanted to know why my car wasn't in my name, where the DMV paperwork was, and I needed help with the mechanical problems that weren't there when I bought it and got locked up. But all they told me was that they would pay for a new engine for my car and give me new paper plates and registration in my name. But honestly, my car should have never been taken out of my name in the first place.
