My experience with Kentex Cargo's assisted shopping service resulted in a significant financial loss due to apparent security failures. After placing my order, I received payment instructions from two deceptive email sources: one from their official domain (@kentexcargo.com) and another appearing to be from Zoho (@sender.zohobooks.com). Both emails contained precise details of my purchase and personal information, lending false legitimacy. Unaware of the discrepancy at the time, I paid using the instructions from the Zoho-linked email. Kentex’s own portal still shows my order as 'Payment Pending,' confirming I sent funds to an unauthorized recipient. This incident reveals critical flaws in their data protection and payment verification processes. Until Kentex addresses how scammers accessed real-time order data and implemented conflicting payment channels, I strongly advise against using their services.
