DesignAire provides outstanding service! We have used them for over 10 years for annual maintenance and timely service calls as they provided today. Being available for same day service in January with an ice/snow storm due overnight provides an irreplaceable level of confidence in their service. The technician John was very knowledgeable and spent extra time explaining the repairs made and answering all of our questions. All of this was provided at a very reasonable price - top notch service in all regards. Thank you!

Summer 2022 is the challenge for record heat. The air-conditioning went out at the 1st buildup of humidity Design Aire Heating & Cooling came through when no one else could! Starting with the receptionist to the repair technician. I was kept informed of projected repair timeline, my technician was polite, courteous, respectful of property, very thorough with diagnostics and recommendations for the solution. He also made recommendations for the future. Very reasonably priced! Well deserved 5 stars. Highly recommend Design Aire Heating and Cooling.

Design Aire is a very professional company. Their sales person has real experience with the products and could provide a quick and accurate price. They have thorough knowledge of available rebates. Their installation team was on time and diligent in getting the work done. They did a neat and tidy installation and left the area very clean. The technicians were courteous and did an amazing amount of work in a short time. At the end of the job, we quickly went through the paperwork. Design Aire did all the work to get our rebate from Ameren. It is a pleasure to do business with Design Aire and I recommend them.

Had a total system installed.(A/C and Furnace) It was a very pleasant experience. Design Aire team arrived right on time. They set up for the job and were extremely efficient. They kept everything neat and clean. Both techs were polite and friendly. I left them to their work and they got everything done ahead of schedule while keeping the job area neat and clean. I would recommend Design Aire to my friends and relatives. Their pricing was very fair(I got bids from other well known local companies in the area and they were much more fair with their pricing!). If I were a teacher giving a grade for their work it would be an A+.

Today I experienced my first maintenance check-up/review of my HVAC system with Design Aire Heating & Cooling. Now, I have had several companies check out my system in the past, and this was by far the most thorough and comprehensive. The technician, Rick, who was kind, efficient, and very knowledgeable, hosed out my condensing unit. No company has ever, ever hosed out my unit. I didn't even know that was a thing to be done to take proper care of the unit! So much gunk (leaves, acorns, dirt, grunge, and even a mouse) came pouring out! Now *thisis a professional HVAC maintenance check-up/review! I immediately signed up for their maintenance package and can't wait to see them in the fall!

Design Aire was recommended by a neighbor when we were replacing our 22 year-old central A/C this past summer. The sales & install were both professionally handled, and the system immediately started paying off in energy efficiency as well as relatively quiet operation outside our bedroom wall. We just received our first annual service call from Design Aire on our aging furnace, and we were very happy with the thoroughness & the useful knowledge shared by the service tech. The ladies that I spoke to in their offices were equally helpful & professional. Prices for the system & for the annual service check were both competitive, and we will definitely be hiring Design Aire for future residential HVAC services.

We purchased our HVAC from DesignAire and have felt very good about the purchase (fair price, professional). That was over five years ago, and today was the first repair we've needed. Capacitor on the DesignAire was able to send out a technician on one of the hottest days of the year when they were getting slammed with service calls. When I called this morning to schedule the appointment, staff member [Name] and service manager [Name] were both professional and helpful. The technician [Name] was personable, obviously knew his stuff, and completed the repair quickly and smoothly. The part was covered under the Trane warranty and the service call/labor was reasonable. We continue to be impressed and happy with DesignAire.

Our central air started going out Saturday, July 16, with a temperature of 103. My husband changed the filter but that didn't solve the issue. On Monday we called Design Aire at 8 am and they had a service technician out before 1 pm! He checked the unit and also the thermostat and informed me that it was a voltage problem that only required a new wire and a wire nut. He had the unit working in less than 30 minutes from when he arrived. The charge was $100! No really, I am serious! We have used Design Air in the past due to the company being reputable, reliable, and courteous. Also, they are a union shop so all their technicians are well trained. We also like their commercials. Hello Design Aire Service Department, Just a brief note to tell you how pleased we were with your Technician Wil! Wil was extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable, honest and highly efficient. I have worked with numerous good HVAC technicians and some bad ones over the years at several different residences but Wil is by far the best I have encountered. Within minutes of arriving at our home on the hottest day of the year so far Wil diagnosed our AC problem, offered a repair solution and price and within 40 minutes or so of his arrival he was finished with the job! Wil is a hero! Wil represents your company in the highest light in my eyes. You all should be proud of Wil and he is a very valuable asset to Design Aire! Thanks again to Wil and Design Aire.

March 23 My daughter's furnace quit working. With all the shut downs for the Corona virous I had no idea what to do. I had used Design Aire in the past, but not recently. I left a voice message on their "help line" this was Saturday evening. Sunday I thought about the problem. Thi system is 30 years old. I had visions of $3000 exoenses, and no idea when they could get to this. I didnt even know if they could be working with the shutdown in place. Monday morning at 8AM Jeanie called me. She said a technician would be at my daughter's house in an hour or so. Didn't take even an hour Jake was working on the furnace. A simple part and 45 minutes later the repair was finished, at a fraction of what my thinking was. Thank you Jeanie. Thank you Jake. You tow are the best !

Design Aire was professional from start to finish. The salesperson was super knowledgeable and followed up with us. He was responsive in returning phone calls and with our requests. We did a complete replacement of HVAC system. The installation team knew what they were doing and did the removal of old system and installation of new system in one day. They cleaned up when finished. They helped fill out paperwork for rebates. We hit a snag with the rebate and the office person, Chris, was very helpful and responsive in helping me with the information. When our county inspector took a look at the installation, he said it was one of the best that he has seen. This company understands not only delivering a good product, but superior customer service! I would highly recommend them!

I am newer to the community (lived here for 5 years now), and we initially did lots of investigation off companies. We settled on one that worked for us for several years. Unfortunately, some recent concerns arose that forced us to look into other companies. We found this one through our research, and we are so GLAD to have found them. In short, other companies quickly recommended purchasing a new unit. This company was so thorough and honest that they basically advised not to purchase a unit when they could have sold me one. Their honesty and integrity went a long way with us. We for sure will be sticking with them long-term for our AC and heating needs. Their staff and owners were knowledgeable, thorough, polite and experienced. I couldn't really ask for anything better in a company.

We purchased a new HVAC system for our 80-year-old home from Design Aire five years ago. When the time comes for a replacement of a furnace or AC, it's often time-sensitive and stressful to say the least. I was definitely overwhelmed. They were very quick to respond, and my reps abundance of knowledge gave me confidence in my decision. I met with three companies before purchasing and Design Aire was competitively priced by comparison and identified adjustments that needed to be made in my ductwork as part of the project. After five years, we're extremely happy with our decision and can't say enough about the service we have received from the techs in the field and the service manager. When we had an issue, they stood behind their product and their work 100%. They go above and beyond to make the customer happy - a rare quality in my experience. Five stars!

Had new A/C installed. Exterior work seems fine. Unacceptable interior workmanship. Was surprised at this, considering Design Aire's reputation for quality. Non-existent attention to detail. Called company to rectify issue. The sales representative returned, and verified that the work wasn't up to Design Aire's standards. Several days later, the SAME ORIGINAL INSTALLER was back out to "finish" his sloppy work. This was off-putting to me- having to show this person his own mistakes. Also, the work order on this second trip didn't mention anything about what was discussed/agreed upon between myself and the sales representative. Both the sales representative and the installer are inadequate in their work. Called company again that day, and was told my sales representative was "out on a service call, but would return my call when he was back in the office". Neither he, nor the company ever returned my call. Work still looks substandard. TLDR- Would not recommend Design Aire to anyone needing HVAC work. Unacceptable installation, and absolutely shambolic customer service.

The guys arrived with a nice equipped van. However, the first thing the technician recommended was that putting a new unit would be a good idea. Then he talked about another part that was most likely damaged. He also scared me with rates mentioning how refill prices had skyrocketed. In this day and age when you can check it live, these things don't work. They are probably sent with the aim of convincing the customers for going for things they may not even need in the first place. Then, in spite of knowing the Freon pressure in the system and giving me a cost rough estimate, the gentleman said it would take over 4 lbs of gas. The rate was a bummer 167 fr the first pound and 150 for the remainder. It seemed a trap. The service visit cost was 75 and they make all the money elsewhere. I paid the man 75 bucks (service call) for nothing and called another service who came in an hour, checked and filled the system in 5 minutes $80/lib. I might have paid for two service calls but I strongly believe that such services who rip off customers should not be encouraged. Lesson learned: Don't fall for big vans or any fancy service. Go with known companies in your circle with known references. Web reviews are not reliable.

I hardly know what to say. Everything from the first call went especially well. A friend made an inquiry for me and the sales rep, Seth, called me directly to see if I needed more info. We met and went over the system I had and the ones I could get. I compared everything online and various reviews. I got a competing bid then decided to go with Design-Aire! It got me one of the best systems out there, Trane, with only the bells and whistles that really needed and the cost was $800 below the American Standard bid which didn't have the 2 speed variable feature. The financing was simple and fast giving me more than I needed. So, a good system and a good price, then I was scheduled for an install, unfortunately 3 weeks out. Seth offered to recharge my old system to see if it could limp through until the new one got installed. I took advantage of that and it worked out so I wasn't uncomfortable for 3 more weeks at the hottest time of our summer so far. Because of the delay in scheduling an install date, I asked to be wait listed which they've never done. Good thing I asked because a full week before my scheduled install date, I got a early morning call asking if they could come right then and install my new system! The installers were clean, friendly and conscientious, laying out tarps and cleaning everything up when they were done a couple hours later. Because this is during COVID, they wore PPE and I had no qualms about them being in my house. Just looking at the new system you can tell it was a good, professional install, rather that just inserting new equipment into an old house. I am really very satisfied with the people, and the system I got and would highly recommend Design-Aire to my family or friends and anyone else.
