Jon Wayne Service Company I could not have asked for better service

I could not have asked for better service. I called about my AC going out Monday morning. They had a technician come out the same day. Mind you, I live about an hour away from their office. *** the issues and provided numerous options to fix the problem. He explained everything to where I can easily understand, highlighted the differences in each package, and answered all of the questions I had in a very professional and kind manner. Once we finished going over everything that evening, he set up to have my system replaced the very next day. New unit, new air ducts, the works, the very next day. Im talking about getting a phone call at 9 am saying they are on their way. The crew was very considerate of my house and was very professional. They worked so hard to get everything done and my unit up and running in a day. I couldnt have made a better decision with trusting *** Wayne to fix my AC needs. I will recommend them until Im blue in the face!

Listened attentively, quickly laid out solution options and rough estimates of cost and time to accomplish and then took time to offer options that my friend who is a disabled senior citizen might qualify for. This is my second time using their services and just as helpful and professional as the first. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Jon Wayne Service Company Jon wayne is a ripp off

Jon wayne is a ripp off. A couple of months ago we called Jon Wayne for a hot water heater problem, they sent a service tech out and he said the air filter was dirt it was cleaned and replace and the service tech left charging 39.95. 30 minutes later the hot water heater stopped working. We call Jon Wayne again they sent the same service tech out again. Now the service tech says it will cost 618.35 to fix the problem this water heater was installed 3 years ago by their company with a supposed 6 year warranty. They wouldn't honor that warranty. I call the manager Mr Alcorta and he told me the same price. But couldn't explain the big price. We refused the repair . I went to a hardware store bought a thermopile for 39.95 and replaced it in 15 minutes. The hot water heater has worked ever since the repair I made. Jon Wayne is way over priced. Their technicians are not very good at determining the problem. Their managers aren't very good with customer service.

The technician arrived earlier than expected and briefed us about the points of service he would be performing. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. He worked continuously and answered all of the questions we asked. When he finished, he gave us a detailed briefing of all services he had performed. He exceeded far beyond our expectations in all that he did. He is a great asset of Jon Wayne Service Company.

Jon Wayne Service Company First impressions of a company's personnel goes a long ways

First impressions of a company's personnel goes a long ways. That is what won me over in choosing and staying with Jon Wayne Service Company. I do not know how many technicians are employed by this company, and I'm sure that they all work very hard, but Dylan F., in my book is the one I always ask for and his expertise has kept my confidence in Jon Wayne. I have an old A/C unit and from day one when Dylan first came to my home, he has been a blessing. He is honest, I can trust him to tell me the truth about what is and what is not needed to keep my unit going. He is courteous, very thorough and knowledgeable in this profession. He is always on time and sometimes a head of time. And when that happens he will or customer service will let me know that there has been a change in the schedule. I consider him to be a friend not just an A/C and heating repairman. Keep up the good work Dylan. I am praying for you,your family and all those who are connected with this company.

These group of individuals arrived earlier than expected, worked the entire day and completed an ac system entirely with new ducts. They even cleaned up the place right before they left for the evening. *** Wayne has a very professional group of technicians that worked like a well oiled machine.

Jon Wayne Service Company After our water supply company shut off the water to our neighborhood for about 6 hours to fix a hydrant leak, I got an error code on my ***

After our water supply company shut off the water to our neighborhood for about 6 hours to fix a hydrant leak, I got an error code on my *** water heater that was installed by Jon Wayne in October . The error was initiated by low/no water flow to the circulation pump for the heater. Although it seemed to still be working okay, the next day the circulation pump was not pumping. I called Jon Wayne on Saturday morning to see if it could be fixed today, as I was a Rescue Club member. The technician was at my door in about an hour, and got the *** unit up and going in about 20 minutes. As is the case with every Jon Wayne employee that I have encountered, the technician was very polite, well mannered, and knowledgeable of the job at hand. They all have an outstanding work ethic. That's one of the main reasons I chose Jon Wayne for my A/C and furnace replacement in 2016, the air purification system in 2019, and my water heater/water softener replacement in 2020. All companies could take a lesson from the Jon Wayne Service Company.

Jon Wayne Service Company *** was awesome!

was awesome! He came in, assessed the issue (clogged toilet), provided several options for services that could be provided. I'll surely call *** Wayne Service Company again! This house is over 60 years old with fuses (no breakers) and I recently found out that many of the outlets aren't grounded, can't raise windows (haven't been raised in over 25 years), not insulated, 1 window A/C unit to cool the whole house (it doesn't), anyhoo, I digress. It's my Mom's house and she's stuck in her ways with "patching up" instead of complete fixes. We went with the appropriately named "Band-aid Package". *** took care of the issue without all the other bells and whistles. It's my plan to have this house torn down and completely rebuilt. When that day comes, I'll surely join one of the servicing packages *** Wayne Service Company provides because when that day comes, we'll also have central air which is one of their services...Heating, Plumbing, Electrical, Air. If you want full service done right, call *** Wayne Service Company!

Well, as usual, things happen either on a weekend, while I'm gone (& my wife is home alone), OR in this case in the middle of a cold spell after a power outage lasting 6hrs, on a Saturday, while I'm out of town! The wife calls saying the heat won't come on in her bedroom after the power is restored. I call Jon Wayne & ask for help. After listening to my problem, the nice lady (sorry I didn't get her name) advises it will be Monday before a tech could be scheduled to come. They were "backed up" with a lot of calls due to the weather & it being a weekend! Well, again the nice lady listened to my pleadings about my wife's cold bedroom; and said, "I will try". Jon Wayne's tech (Travis) was there in little over an hour, diagnosed the problem, replaced a blower fan motor, we had heat to face the 20 degrees that night! This outfit "didn't know me from Adam"! I'm a new customer referred, by my old AC/HEAT company who Jon Wayne bought out. They were courteous, prompt, (under extreme conditions), & most of all had the expertise to fix the problem! I highly recommend Jon Wayne Services.

When the technician finally did show up at about 13:30 (an hour and a half past the 4-hour window), he did great work. To be clear I did receive a pre-emptive call about 10:15 informing me the technician would be late. NOTE: This is NOT the first time my appointment window was overshot by more than *** minutes (The techs worktime is not recorded on the receipt; therefore no way to internally verify the time arrived and time spent on the job). When it came to settling up on the annual service, the technician wasn't sure if the *** bulb and Air filter was something for which I paid (I knew I did so I advised him to verify). Before the technician arrived I called their office and spoke to a receptionist regarding my displeasure with the persistent late-arrival times. She informed me that my concerns would be passed on to a manager and that I should expect a call. It is now more than 24 hours passed the my appointment window, and I have not received any communication from management. While their workmanship is great, their scheduling component of the business really needs a good evaluation and adjustment - customers who have regularly scheduled business want to feel that their time and money are appreciated by ON-TIME work. Once they have my money, they are not very motivated to live up to their end of the contract - disappointing to say the least.

Having years of maintenance experience with a variety of equipment I was very impressed with their diagnostic procedures, equipment and verification process ensuring proper diagnoses. Their service technician was very personable, knowledgeable and easy going. All in all a very good experience until we starting discussing options. My failed equipment was under warranty and it appeared their problem solving went well beyond just fixing the problem and trying to sell me things I don't need or want. I can install anything and everything they were suggesting myself for much cheaper. I understand not everyone is handy and some people need help, but what people don't need is a company who could take advantage of individuals with less or no experience with their equipment. I'm on my second unit in 40 years and none of the proposed upgrades would have prevented any of the issues I've encountered with all of my units over the years. I do however, recommend a very good and well maintained filtration system. My inside evaporator coils of my last unit of 20 years was inspected when removed and replaced 4 yeas ago and deemed to be in perfect condition but they tried to sell me an additional filtration system and UV light. I don't remember the cost but it was in addition to the 1K of extras they were proposing.I could have eliminated about 1K worth of extras I didn't need but the deal breaker was the $300 dollars they wanted to charge me for reconnecting the *** drain line once the inside evaporator core was replace. I could have done it for under $10. So I declined the work and went with my original installer who saved we about $600 bucks overall. I place no blame on the service technician. Cheers!

In my 73 years of trusting and using companies, I have NEVER been as upset as I am following a service I recently used of Jon Wayne. My problem began with a problem and leak at the point where the county water linked into the home water system. I called Jon Wayne based upon the ratings posted by local consumers. The team that came into my home looked at the problem and began recommending changes, including a new water softening system. From there the individual making the recommendations for me to consider, trusting the individual based by the ratings your company posted. The individual had already begun drilling a hole through my granite counter in my kitchen. At that time, my wife told him she was concerned about the drilling. Feeling there was no alternative, since our counter top had already been drilled. Once the system was completed, we were asked to use the system. When we did, we turned on the system to see how it worked. To our surprised we noticed that dirty water and contents came out of the system. It did not appear to be safe. We told the team to dis-install the water counter top system. When the team left our residence, they left the system in our garage, after installing a chrome plug on the top of our counter-top, offering NO reduction in our cost. My wife and I feel completely disturbed by the entire job this company completed. We feel as though we were "taken advantage of." Jon Wayne technicians left the useless water server in our garage. I called Jon Wayne to tell them of my dissatisfaction with the service. They offered NO refund, nor any visit to my home to review the completed service. I will NEVER RECOMMEND Jon Wayne for ANYTHING. I feel the only goal of the company was to OVERCHARGE for systems we never requested in the beginning. We were charged over $8,000 for unprofessional service.

Jon Wayne Service Company Taking Advantage of Elderly Customers

Taking Advantage of Elderly Customers.I have used this company for years and purchased an AC unit for my home in the last year. Because I trusted them, I allowed them to visit my 83 year old father's home, to provide an estimate while I was not there. The single story home has one AC unit and is less than *** square feet including the garage. They gave my father an estimate for a new AC with a starting price of $32,000 up to $52,000. When I called to inquire the *** Mr. was rude and blamed my father saying my dad asked for lots of things which is why the price was so high. When I asked for details about what he could have asked for to justify a price of $52,000 he said he didn't know, he just punches the buttons and *** Wayne spits out the prices. I called *** Wayne twice to speak to management. The first time I left a message with *** and she said someone would call me back. No one did. I called again and spoke to ***, a supervisor, he stood by the prices and said they were caused by my elderly father's requests for additional work. I again asked him to explain line by line what could have resulted in a minimum of $32,000 and *** $52,000 estimate, as there were not details in the estimate to explain the cost. His explanation was that the duct work my father requested costs $18,000 and it is built in based upon the verbal request my father made. He also said the 12 year pre paid service costs alot. When I asked if my father requested to pay 12 years of service fees in advance *** said no but that it was offered. My father did not request any of the things that they claimed. In addition we got another estimate from a reputable company a week later and it was for $17,000 including ducts work and insulation. I am concerned that *** Wayne was taking advantage of my elderly father and may do that with other elderly customers in the future.

Jon Wayne Service Company I was a customer of *** for over 4 years without any service calls

I was a customer of *** for over 4 years without any service calls. I enrolled in the *** and paid the monthly fee of ***. The *** is a program that provides assistance 24/7. I called *** Wayne on Sunday to request a service call. There was no one available to assist and I was informed by an answering machine that *** Wayne is now closed on Sundays. I left a voicemail for someone to contact me and I also requested a service time online for the next workday. I received a text message around 7:20 am the next day that *** Wayne tried to contact me and they could not schedule a service because they couldn't get in touch with me. I did not receive any phone calls, but I did receive a text message. I contacted *** Wayne and requested an appointment for a service call and was informed that *** Wayne could not schedule a service appointment until Thursday. I told the representative that I was a member of the ***. The representative could not help me so I asked to speak to a manager. The manager called me and said he would attempt to help with a service call, but that *** Wayne services were currently backed up. I went online and looked at *** Wayne's website and noticed that they have a Service Club that retails for $29.95 a month and has the same exact things I was promised with the *** at $*** a month. I received a phone call from a representative of *** Wayne who said that they could not send someone out until the next day so I again asked to speak to a manager. I informed the manager that *** Wayne is responsible for informing its customers that they cannot provide 24/7 service as was originally promised with the *** and additionally they are responsible for informing customers of a price drop and refunding any previous money paid as this is "fraud." I was informed that *** Wayne would send me a check or they could offer me 1 year free. I chose the check. Avoid Jon Wayne Service Company at all costs.

Jon Wayne Service Company Seniors BeWare!

Seniors BeWare! I have been dealing with the Jon Wayne A/C company for the last four years. I have finally realized that they have been cheating me every time they come out for repairs. On the last visit I had called them in the middle of Aug. my A/C stopped working, so after they checked out the system they told me, "we have two offers to fix your system" one was $1200.00 the other was for $787.00. I settled for the $787.00 since they explained the $1200.00 would include a surge protector. At that time all I wanted was for the A/C to work. So they asked me to initial on their I-pad for the $787.00 repair without an itemized list of what was to be repaired. After they left it dawned on me that I didn't know what I had paid for. So I called the office requesting an itemized list of what was repaired, they told me to call the technician that worked on my system, I refused to talk to the technician and requested they email me an itemized list of the repair. A short time later the technician emailed me a list of what was replaced along with a copy of what I had accepted during their visit. Now the copy shows the three items that were replaced along with the price of each item and my initials accepting the work. Funny how all of this info was absent when I initialed the I-pad. The three items on the list were, one Circuit Breaker $238.00 which is a $14.00 item, one Service Disconnect $281.00 which is a $24.00 item, this item was not installed properly they had to send someone to fix the issue, and one Hard Start Capacitor $311.00 which I had replaced a couple of months before. After seeing all of these charges I recalled that the last technician that had serviced our system from Jon Wayne had told me that all the technicians that work there "work on commision only" so when they come to your home they have to find something to replace in order for them to get paid. This will be my last experience with this company please be aware in this case a second opinion may be worth the call.

Jon Wayne Service Company My experience with JE could not have been better!

My experience with JE could not have been better! I have a business that has several units and called to see if I could get a diagnosis and potentially a quote to replace a couple of HVAC units. From the beginning to the end I had terrific customer ***. From the scheduler to the sales technician to the installation technicians. I had two appointments scheduled on the same day. One for the business and the other for my home. *** was my sales technician for the business. He was very polite, knowledgeable and thorough. Didnt try to up sell me on anything. His diagnosis was inline with what a previous company had described. Their menu pricing helped me to make informed decisions but gave me different options and Cliff went out of his way to explain everything. No high pressure salesman routine. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. Bought two machines that day. Next was ***. He got to my house while I was on the phone with my CPA and went right to work to do the annual PM and check up. At the door he had a sweet smile on his face and didnt want to interrupt my call. We exchanged a few words and he got to work. He let me know that the system was great and answered a couple of questions I had. I mentioned that I was going out of town and he asked if he could show me how to use the smart thermostat so that I could turn the air down before we got home. I told him that i liked the idea but didnt like it have any smart features in my home. He explained the energy efficiency and other benefits of using it and took the time to hook it up and explain it to me kids and I. He never acted like he needed to leave to get to the next job or go home for dinner. He took his time, did his job and was such pleasure to get to know. He also went out of his way to set up and appointment for me to get another service done that I had gotten a quote for in January. This was my fourth experience work with JW and each time has been great! I highly recommend them.

Jon Wayne Service Company A little disgruntled with *** Wayne at this time

A little disgruntled with *** Wayne at this time. Spent almost 30K to have a new water heater and whole house water system installed after our water heater went out. Initially we have a pipe break. The first technican who came out took care of our water pipe leak did a great job and explained it looked like our KB home had Nibco pipes in our home which had a class action lawsuit against them. He was correct.So I thought we would let *** Wayne be our plumbing company. Really did not want to spend this kind of money on a system, but looked at the training their technicians recieved and thought you get what you pay for. The salemans who came out convinced me to go for the best system we even chose their best protection plan. It was a lot of money, but since the first technican had done a great job and they receive great training (as per their website) we went for it. The sales man told us that they would even come out and maintain the water system quarterly, and maintain the water heater once a year for 10 years. The first quarter came and went and nothing. Last Saturday on 8 Jan 2022 we called the office and asked them when were they coming to maintain our water system. She said they do not do that I said yes they do. She said she would get back to us she never did. On Jan 14 2022, I called the office again and asked when they were coming to maintain our water system? She said we don't do that I said yes you do. She said well they were supposed to drop 20 bags of salt off at your house. I told her they did not drop off anything and explained to her that they were supposed to maintain our water system. She said no, then she became very caustic and would not hardly let me get in a word. She repeated over and over again what did I think that meant. I told her it said 10 years. I was not aware if you had to join a club or what all I know is it said 10 years.It was clear to me that she was not planning on honoring the agreement after they had agreed to do so. She said she would call me back and she did not call back. So I sent a text which contained the part of the agreement for 10 years. I get a text back how can I help you sir. *** in all I continue to call and text *** Waynes service number and keep getting passed around.I would have not spent this kind of money for such a high tech water system if they (salesman) had not convinced me they would take care of everything. As a disabled veteran and being over 60 years old I paid this kind of money so I would not have to worry about this. It seems to have backfired.

We installed a new /Furnace from *** Wayne in I believe 2018, and the experience after the install has been horrible. I would advise everyone to look elsewhere. We purchased a larger *** unit for our home. *** Wayne insisted we needed a bigger Air Intake to feed the system, or it would not function properly, and charged us a large amount to do it. When they cut into the drywall to install the larger air intake, the current one had 2x4's framing the intake that were part of the wall's main support. Rather than discussing this with us, or working on a solution, they just put a larger grate on the outside of the dry wall, patched it up and claimed it was done. We did not find out about this until about 2 years later, when we were remodeling the house, and took down the drywall on that wall. They never said a thing about the air intake work not being done, or not being possible, and did 100% charge it for us, even though we talked to multiple different techs and managers from their company throughout the process.A little over a year after we had installed the *** unit, it stopped cooling. We called *** Wayne out, who would come assess the issue for free, and the unit we had purchased (for something like 18 thousand dollars) was under warranty for 10 years. When they came out and diagnosed the problem, they said the issue was a compressor, and an easy enough fix, it just needed to be replaced. Great! We had purchased the *** unit from them less than 2 years ago, and with the warranty the work would be covered right! Well turns out they "don't keep parts from that manufacturer on hand." It was under warranty, but in order to get the repairs covered, we would need to use their parts. They could have me fill out some paper work, and they would mail it off (snail mail i was told, it was the only way to do it) to get the part. They estimated a three to four week turn around to get this one compressor. This during the middle of the summer in Texas, and with our *** not cooling. If we did not want to wait the 3 weeks in texas heat, they actually had a part on hand in their truck, but we would just have to pay out of pocket for it. They charged us something like 400 dollars for the labor and fix.I will never use *** Wayne again, and literally tell everyone I know of their slimy business practices. Do yourself a favor and please go somewhere else. Their business practices are openly scummy. Not only did we get charged for work they never did, but the fact that we paid almost 20 grand for a system from them, which was played up and supported by a "robust 10 year warranty that covers all repairs and parts," for them to not stock those parts is an obvious choice that is 100% designed to s*** over the very people who bought units from them.
