Before we selected Janney Roofing, we consulted with 2 other roofing companies. The one thing that stood out for us and made our decision to go with Janney was the customer service that we received. Brad was our salesman and he was extremely patient in answering all of our questions and concerns. He did not rush us and gave us the necessary time to make our decision. He was very knowledgeable re the Florida Roofing Code. Once we contracted with Janney, we were provided all details regarding the project in a clearly written format with what we, as the homeowners, were expected to do prior to the commencement of the project. Once the project started, the crew showed up on time, were courteous to us, and what really impressed us was how well they cleaned up every evening before leaving. There were no nails left in our yard or driveway. The crew supervisor repeatedly checked in with the crew multiple times each day and checked in with us to see if we had any questions or concerns. We highly recommend Janney Roofing.

Almost by accident, just before changing my insurance company, Dave and I happend onto each other and, at Dave's suggestion, he did an inspection of my roof. We'd had some hail storms recently, so I thought it would be a good idea. Dave did find damage and guided me in filing an insurance claim. And Voila! I had a Claim Settlement and now a new roof. Without his help and guidence, I would have changed my insurance company and LOST my opportunity to get a new roof due to a weather event.

Janney's office staff is great as well. Keeping me posted on work schedule. Calling to see if everything was going OK.

All in all, it was a great experience. Highly recommend using Janney Roofing.

Anytime you contract with a contractor that you are unfamiliar with, you always wonder how the experience will turn out. Especially in my case, I'm anal about quality. I need not have worried. Tony walked me through the process and what to expect. I needed to push my schedule forward during a time when the roofing crews were dealing with weather delays. We agreed to a start date so I scheduled other follow-up contractors based on this start date. The dumpster arrived exactly on time and the crews were on the job early the following morning. The old roofing was off and we were "in the dry" by end of this first day. The area around the house was cleaned up like a park at the end of this day. Roof was completed by the end of the second day, jobsite was cleaned up, and the crew demobilized. The project supervisor, Jay was onsite to keep an eye on the work and keep in communication with the owner. The crew worked like beavers to keep the schedule and complete by end of the second day. All in all, I'm happy with the outcome and the "Janney" experience. Lee D.

Never have I dealt with a company with the integrity of Janney Roofing. The company that delivered the shingles did not follow Janney's direction and placed too many in one area, which caused some damage on the roof. When I notified Alain, he immediately called the company back out to adjust the placement of shingles. Not only did this problem get rectified immediately, Janney took full responsibility and repaired the damage. I had a lot of wood rot on my roof and most companies would have tried to say that the roof was already damaged and not stepped up to the plate. Janney did not do this. Jason is not only the salesman, he is involved with the process every step of the way and is in constant contact. Alain is very informative about how the process works and the scheduling of all work. If you need to get in contact with anyone, you only need to make one phone call and they will call you back immediately. I am not easily impressed, but I would recommend this company to anyone. Everyone involved went above and beyond my expectations and my roof is beautiful.

Tony *** was instrumental from beginning to end. He explained the whole process and what we had to do and expect from the insurance company. He always kept us in the loop of what was going on. His son Anthony was great. he made himself available when the adjuster Cameron a Sunday!. now that is service.
The office team was always able to touch base with myself or husband ,either by phone, email, or text to keep us updated.
Janney Roofing kept their word about the start date . I was amazed how smooth everything went .
We had Miguel and Taylor as the roofing team. They were very professional and answered all our questions. Their team was quick and professional. the roof was done in 2 days.; I was amazed everything hd been done, from removing the shingles up to the clean up. They were very good at covering our outdoor plants and cleaning up both days.

My mom needed a new roof on her home in Florida. She does not have a computer or a smart phone so I did the research for her from my home in Virginia. I looked at several company's reviews in her area.. I noticed that Janney Roofing had great reviews so I scheduled them to give an estimate on my mom's roof. Before they even went out I was contacted by Tony ***. He was such a pleasant person to speak with and explained everything they would be doing for the estimate. He also told me he would send me pictures of the process and their findings. True to his word, he sent me the pictures and a copy of the estimate for my review. His inspection was very thorough. He also contacted me to ask if I had any questions or concerns about the pictures or estimate. He also won my mom over which is a feat in itself so we went with Janney for her roof.
The entire process was basically stress-less since Tony and other Janney employees maintained constant contact and updates the entire time. They also provided pictures once the job was complete. My mom's roof looks great and she is happy. Thank you Janney Roofing and all of they great people we worked with in this process!

We just got our entire roof replaced after Hurricane Ian by Janney Roofing. The entire process was seamless - almost too good to be true in a world of supply chain issues and labor shortages, not to mention a significant weather event. From our initial contact with the owner, Derrick Janney, we could tell that he had developed a customer-first organization. Jeremy ***, our sales manager, walked us through the process and provided our estimate in a timely manner. Upon acceptance, the communication from the head office was informative and proactive. Jennifer from the invoicing team made the staged payments a painless process, and Tery-Ann *** worked out the schedule (and rescheduling due to the next Hurricane) work out perfect. Joey as the project team lead was able to get his roofing team assembled and working efficiently to produce a wonderful looking roof. We even replaced our former venting, which allowed wind and rain intrusion during the hurricane, with awesome solar powered vents. The cleanup was thorough and our roof looks amazing. Thank you, Janney Roofing, for an incredible job well-done! Definitely a 6-Star performance out of 5 total stars! I strongly recommend this company to take care of your roofing needs!

I got estimates from 3 different roofers and Tony *** was the rep from Janney who came out. From the first impression, I knew that Janney was the company to choose. Tony was extremely professional and personable, kept me informed at all times, and also was available for me to call him at any time for questions or concerns. Tony took extreme measures to make this process touchless due to COVID. He was also the only one from the estimates who wore a mask when he came to the house, which meant a great deal to me because we have elderly parents in the household.

The crew that came out were extremely professional and friendly. The very first thing the crew did was to move items away from the house that might have gotten damaged from debris, and then they laid out tarps to catch the nails and debris. I know others who used other companies who were not nearly as careful as the Janney crew. The crew also took special care to magnet the yard for nails several times before they packed up and left, and then another Janney rep came and did it again a few days later! Tony even offered to magnet the yard again if we wanted.

The roof is beautiful and passed inspection with no issues. I would highly recommend Tony and Janney Roofing to everyone I know.

Like most consumers I started researching several roofing companies and reached out to a few including Janney Roofing so I could then make an educated decision with the multiple options presented. I was lucky to get a visit from Todd ***! Todd was not only personable and charismatic but most importantly very knowledgeable on the products and services offered by Janney Roofing. He answered the multiple questions we had about the process the different materials they use and what would be best fit for us. We still had a few other roofing companies to interview but we were left with such a great impression from Todd that we decided to go with our gut and I am so thankful we did! The process after that was as easy as one can expect: I got a call from Annette and an email with a step-by-step process! The day before the Roofer showed up I had a dumpster deliver and set up, the roofers came in and finish the job in one day right after the roof was installed I got a visit from Taylor who did a walk-through inspection to make sure the roof was installed and to standard And that no debris's was left behind. MY expectations have been met and exceeded by every single person I interacted with before during and after the roof was installed I will be recommending them to my friends and family and will definitely use them again

Our sales rep had lied to us from the very beginning, not telling us we had a second payment upfront and that we would be on a payment plan. They come to get started on the roof and ask for second payment, we tell them we were never told about that. They apologized and said they would work on a payment plan with us. I spoke to Ashley, Jeremy, and Annette and they all said we would work on a payment plan and our monthly payment wouldn't go above $60 as originally promised. The workers left nails in my front and back yard and 2 days after my roof gets done I have them calling me asking for $7000 in upfront payment. I was very confused as stated above we discussed a payment plan. They said they didn't do payment plans and it had to be paid upfront. I told them we needed at least 6 months to get that money especially with a pandemic not many people have that just laying around. The guy seemed surprised I said that and said I will call you tomorrow with the final invoice I actually don't have it at the moment. This company was VERY unprofessional, misleading, and honesty just liars. They tell you what you want to hear to trap you into contract then screw you over in the end. Had we of known about the upfront payments we would have went somewhere that did financing. I would not recommend this company to anyone in the slightest

The day had finally come to replace my roof. I knew that it was going to be difficult to find a reliable roofing company because of all the horror stories that I had heard and read from other people. I saw Janney's great reviews online and called. I set up an appointment with Janney Rep. Austin ***. During the appointment, Austin assessed my roofing situation, told me about the replacement process, talked about material options and laid out my project step by step. Austin was awesome. I never felt rushed or pressured to commit to anything. He answered every question that I had from cost to construction to after care. He knew exactly the who, what, where and when of the entire project. The best part was once I signed on the dotted line, they never forgot about me. Janney's team worked with my home insurance to ensure that all requirements were met to get the project completed. Austin was always locked in on my project and was available to answer my questions and resolve any concerns that I had. Since the roofing crews were actual Janney employees and not sub-contractors, I didn't have to worry about the quality of the work. On construction day, there was a Janney manager onsite site during the entire construction process to inspect work and mitigate any issues. During construction day, Austin called a couple times to check on progress and to see if I had any questions. Once the project was complete, a thorough cleanup was completed and the manager did a walkthrough with me to ensure that I was satisfied with the outcome of project. The next day, Austin followed up and answered any additional questions. In another 20 years when I need to replace my roof again, I will be calling Janney and Austin if he's still there.

After extensive research and consulting, I chose Janney Roofing to install my standing seam metal roof. I interviewed multiple roofing contractors and did my best to be an informed homeowner when selecting one. Janney was the clear choice among the contractors I spoke with and it wasn't even close. During the initial process, Austin and Joel patiently answered any questions and addressed any reservations I had. I had plenty. When I second guessed something, they had a calm and respectful response instead of a harsh rebuke. They understood a homeowners' caution when considering such a significant investment. There was no point in our conversations where I felt they were being dishonest. If they didn't have an answer, they would consult the Janney team or manufacturer, rather than give a subpar answer. In addition to my perception of their honesty and integrity, they were also the most reasonably priced. Did I mention that the choice was clear? When it came to the re-roof, Matt was assigned as the onsite Manager. He was present every day and ensured everything ran as smooth as possible. He went above and beyond what you would expect of a job site manager. He certainly was not, "the guy sitting in his truck". He enthusiastically assisted with things that other job site managers may not consider part of their job description. Jaime was the roof installer. He and his crew did great work and were also willing to address any concerns that came up. With any contractor, or human being for that matter, there will be challenges to communication. We had our challenges. However, everyone involved did their best to confirm and address any hesitations throughout the entire process. They were able to adjust to challenges while avoiding hasty decisions that would lead to delay or additional expense. I would absolutely hire them again. Although, I trust I won't have to, considering the long life of a standing seam metal roof.

Our aging roof was damaged by hurricane Irma and we needed to get it replaced. I was able to mend it enough myself so we could wait for the mad rush to subside without an ugly blue tarp. Somehow weeks turned into months, and months turned in to years, but after some recent hail we finally got motivated to get it replaced. I asked around for recommendations and the overwhelming response was to contact Ryan *** at Janney roofing.
Ryan has lived in the *** neighborhood and has replaced countless roofs in the Sub-division, they all provided glowing reviews. I gave him a call and Ryan arranged a meeting the very next day.
As a Project Manager I tend to be very thorough in my selection process, I asked him a lot of questions, and Ryan answered them all to my satisfaction. He walked me through their process, told me about their crews, explained the benefits of an *** roofing system, and how Janney roofing as an *** Platinum Preferred Contractor was able to provide a very attractive long-term warranty plan.
Ryan worked up a quote on the spot and clearly explained how he arrived at the number; he even offered several options to choose from so that I could manage my budget accordingly.
I got estimates from two other roofing companies of generally similar caliber, one was more expensive, and one was less. I gave each of them the same intense grilling I gave Ryan. Both companies would have probably been fine choices, but after careful consideration I opted to go with Ryan and Janney Roofing.
Once I pulled the trigger, and got my HOA's approval, the overall process was unbelievably smooth and simple. We were put on the schedule in a very reasonable timeframe and given periodic updates on what to expect and when.
The Installation was like clockwork. The supplies were delivered the day before and the crew showed up exactly on time, with a dumpster in tow. This was the seasoned crew I was holding out for. They surrounded the house with tarps to capture all of the ~26,000 some odd nails from the old roof (when they were done, I found just two stray nails on my property, one of those was under where the dumpster was placed). The old roof was removed and the new one replaced in a single day. I braced myself for a mountain of upcharges for "found damaged" once the work began. I needed a total of only 4 sheets of plywood replaced, the first two were included in the contract, the third and forth sheet cost me a combined $100. I consider that a bargain!
I will not pretend that having a roof replaced is a quiet or peaceful experience, it was a loud banging and clanging affair from start to finish, but the crew was like a well-oiled machine. They were extremely professional and organized, with barely a wasted motion. They came, they saw, they conquered, and then suddenly they were gone. I have not yet climbed up and inspected it closely, but from what I can see, I can tell they did a superb job.
I hope not to need their services again for a very long time, but if I do, I would not hesitate to call on Ryan *** and Janney Roofing.
