isingles.co.uk review: cancelling account 28

I have never set up an account with these people and started getting emails a while back saying I had messages. As I never set this up I do not have the problem of payments being taken but I am in serious relationship and can't have this causing issues as we are planning a future together.
I tried requsting a password reset so I could log in and try to cancel it. Can't find this freeze option they advise. There are no pictures and the info is totally off so either a scam or someone set it up thinking they are funny.
Have tried all sorts to get in touch but it is IMPOSSIBLE. No one even looks at the Facebook messages.
Can someone please advise if they have had any luck getting accounts removed or where I can go from here?

after canceling my subscription in january this site is still taking money out of my bank without my consent, ive tried every email address they provide and nothing, my email sending options say address invalid so how do we cancel, ive checked my profile on isingles and it just says frozen, yet these people are still ripping me of.

I made an account on i singles.co.uk about a 3 year ago and stopped using about 2 and half years ago and i can still see my profile on website. I emailed them twice but no answer and called them, they said it will be resolved in 2-3 days but nothing happened since.

hello can some one PLEASE give me any contact details to the person that made this stupid website or any way of contacting anyone in charge of it, my OLD profile remains on google search and its very embarrassing for me, i am married now and 6 years older! i cant cancel it it says that its frozen but i can still see it on google images. this is really upsetting me.

I have the same problem I have got in touch with the bank and they will now act on my behalf, any more payments taken from my account will be reimbursed. so get in touch with your bank and go in there and they will contact the people for you by phone which mine did and cancelled it, I then looked on line and it said my account will be cancelled in march 2013 another month these thieves will take another payment from me I cancelled in October 2012 and gave a months notice but money is still coming out of the account. Does anyone have a correct email or address or phone number for these people?

i have the same problem i cancelled my account MAY 2012 but the £27 is still coming out every 3 months i ve sent 3 e-mails but had no reply, i ve been to the bank but they said they can t do anything as its a subscription and you can only cancell them. i ve found an address but its in cypress and a phone number which i tried but could nt get through, what do i do now if you look in the terms and conditions your not actually entitled to a refund so ive lost over £80 for something i don t want.

yeh i have got the same problem with this website as i couldnt remove my account and my image appears in the google search, i have complaint so many times to the website but never heard back from them, so anybody knows where i can go further for complain about spaming the members by website .

I am having problems with the site too, although a frozen account still means they take payment look in FAQ, you have to go to the membership part although this has made no difference for me.
I asked to discontinue my membership November and they have since taken 2 more payments and changed the dates.
I am going into my bank tomorrow to see if they can help me, I think I will have some sort of protection as the payments are on my credit card.
Anyone else finally free of the site it's a nightmare

I have a different problem with this site, I get emails from supposedly females who have seen my profile, What profile?I have not subscribed to any dating site. Perhaps they are trying to reel me in, no bloody chance.
I found this site out of curiosity when investigating my so called Profile on this site.
I am amazed that money can be stolen from their bank accounts and the culprits are accountable to nobody.
You take ten pence from an account illegally and see the consequences you will pay.
Report to your bank and ask for a new account number, if they won`t help then go to another bank, good luck people

I have a different problem with this site, I get emails from females who apparently have seen me on this site, yet I have not subscribed to any dating site. Probably got my disposable email address from some ### and are trying to draw me in, no chance.

I read your reviews and am totally amazed that these people can steal money from a bank account and are not answerable to anyone, we are a one state with Europe and the yanks like to give the impression they don`t take white collar crime lightly. Could you imagine if you took ten pence from someone`s bank illegally the consequences.
The best thing is as some have done, report it to your bank and put a block on the bank debit, or close the account and ask for a new one, trust no one. Good luck

have the same problem they have taken £42 from my credit account, trying 2 cancel but have 2 provide emails or conformation of cancellation, didnt get any of them from singles

Had the same problem with this site! cancelled in march and twice they have taken£42 out of my account. sent numerous e mails but have had no response. I contacted my bank who refunded the money into my account and they are dealing with isingles. this site is not recommended, it is a total rip off, don, t know how they are getting away with it

I only wish i would have reviewed this site a week ago which is when i subscribed. Only just decided to look it up as i am having problems and thought i could resolve them via the net as its impossible to contact the site. Well now i feel stupid as it seems this site is renown for ripping people off, what i cant understand is how the heck they have gotten away with it for so long. And im glad that its not only me that cannot log out, my profile wont even show my picture lack of contact details for the site is a joke, looks like i better start to contact my bank now aghhhh im so mad with myself for joining now.

I am also having the same problem. I have tried to cancel my subscription but can't and they are also taking money out of my bank account even though my isingles account is frozen. I contacted my bank but there is nothing they can do until they try to take another payment - how ridiculous is that when companies can take money out of your account continuously without permission. I don't know if anyone else has noticed but I thought I would check to see if my account was active as they are still taking the money. My profile is obviously still showing up as there are messages. However if you try and read these messages you cant and it states "you have no credits left" to read messages and it takes you to the payments page. So where has the money they have taken from me been allocated? Straight into their corrupt pocket! I have had enough now and will be going to my local police station to report the actions of this company to see if there is anything they can do to stop them ripping people off.

i have read the reviews and i have the same problem with isingles site, since august 2011 i cancelled my profile as instructed on site info but they kept taking money from my account contacted my bank and they claimed the money back after 31 days every thing was fine.then january 2012 they started taking money out of my account again but the sum of £32.99 a month contacted bank again there in the process of claiming money back, even told me to contact trading standerds which i have done but with no address or contact number finding it hard to find source, bank statement says they are in cypress...does any no address or contact number...

I'm so sorry you have all had problems with this company. I am thoroughly annoyed as, like Hayley, they have taken 2 months of £15.00 a throw when I had cancelled my sub in October. Surely this can not be legal? I cancelled it online and it said I had chosen to cancel after the sub had expired but then I noticed on my bank statement that they had taken the liberty of carrying on with the membership. It's a total disgrace. I feel sure this is not legal. I've sent them hourly emails today but surprise surprise no response. Their contact details are shocking and customer service, well what customer service? I am so frustrated that they have ignored my requests and I've resorted to being abusive in my emails which is not me at all. Do not freeze your account and assume it cancels membership, it does not! I will have to contact the bank but I shouldn't have to! I have total sympathy to all concerned, take care, Sally xx

anyone that has problems with them taking money out, just transfer your money to another account and leave it for a while i did they stopped thank goodness

Why do I not get mail from other members on isingles.Mail to me stoped in Febuary

I found my fiance had set a profile on this site. Caused major problems and looks like we're going to split up, we've got wedding booked, wedding dress bought..We've tried to cancel the account. Says freeze the account and stay off and the account will disappear. Done all that and its still there...
Any ideas welcome but sadly think the relationship is at an end.

yes i have tried to cancel my membership was supposed to finish in june but they have taken more money out of my account so have to got to the bank to sort something out the site is a total scam, i wish i could tell you as im in the same position
