Called Intelligent Design to look over my A/C (Heatpump) before we get into the dry hot Arizona weather. It was easy to get through to speak to someone to schedule an appointment, and few days later James showed up on time. Considering all the COVID-19 precautions That everyone is having to adhere to they were quick, informative, and polite. Would highly recommend James and Intelligent Design.

Intelligent Design Air Conditioning Plumbing & Solar was pleasant, efficient, very neat, and did a good job explaining what needed to be done, costs and other issues that needed addressing now or in the future. The entire job was well handled from my initial inquiry with the office to follow-up questions. I appreciated the photo and background of the technician, the text announcing that he would be coming then the call from the technician giving me the time of his arrival. Thank You!

Intelligent design has consistently been great for us. They were middle of the road in terms of cost when installing our new AC at our last house and top of the line when it came to repairs and they carry an amazing warranty. They had a tech out in 3 hours in the middle of summer to swap out a blown capacitor. We will definitely be keeping them as our technician with our new home. Shout out to Elmo as well who always has a great attitude whenever he stops by for a maintenance check.

We contacted Intelligent Design to discuss two issues relating to minimizing dust and balancing the home airflow. James and his colleague, Ulysses, provided several options and were professional, punctual, and informative. I would highly recommend this company for their thoughtfulness in the way they address cost-effective solutions for critical household equipment we usually take for granted. I will continue to use this company's services as they offer expertise and a good value for the money.

I have been a customer of Intelligent Design for a number of years and I have always considered them a 5-Star company. Every tech that has been to my home has been professional and knowledgeable. This time it was Elmo Acosta. It was over 100 degrees and my air was not cooling. Elmo arrived within the hour, went right to work and quickly diagnosed the problem, made recommendations and got my air cooling. His friendliness kept me calm and reassured me that the repairs would be done quickly. Definitely a 5-star Tech.

Intelligent Design was terrific when my A/C suddenly went out on a predicted 108oF day. I left a message at the crack of dawn and they called back. “We'll try to fit you in today but it might not be Elmo who usually services your equipment" …… ‘anyone please' At 8.30 am Elmo was at the door. Elmo fixed it in less than an hour. I was delighted. Thank you. Just know that I was very very pleased. They have serviced my system for a long time, I love Elmo who is special but all other personnel have been very good and pleasant also.

Intelligent Design Air Conditioning Plumbing & Solar: the technician came out and looked at our water heater and explained with detail and patience to my sister how the water heater worked and what is needed to replace the unit. He is very caring and considerate and demonstrated exceptional customer service skills. The company is very good at communicating when the technician is going to be there and if they are running behind. Also, the technician personally called me to let me know he was going to be at the house in 10 minutes. This is a very dependable and professional company.

Great company with excellent service and quality of work. The only negative I could come up with is that I did have to keep after them for some essential support and information but they did provide it on request. Probably they were just always quite busy. I especially appreciated Paul in that respect. He ended up being my "go to" guy for the issues that came up, and for good reason! Whatever the problem was, once I informed him, he promptly solved it! Overall an excellent experience and good people to work with. And special thanks to Paul for his extra effort and attention to detail!

Service is getting worse. Office doesnt communicate, except to ask for more money. Service schedules are (this is a quote). "morning are from 8 am until a few hours later".. so when they say 8 am service, they mean, "later in the morning, sometime". I used these folks because of Rosie on the House program. Evidently Rosie is in on the scam, or maybe an innocent bystander... either way. I would NOT recommend these folks. Not sure why the service has gotten so poor. They were pretty good at one time. Maybe ownership has changed... Maybe they just dont care anymore. Maybe they like ripping customers off.

From the first time the representative from Intelligent Design Air Conditioning Plumbing & Solar walked in my house, I knew this was going to be a good experience. She took her time, explaining to me exactly what Intelligent Design does and what she recommended I purchase to fit what I wanted. She was able to schedule the install in a week, which was great, since it's been rather hot here in my area. Then on the date of install the installers were on time and personable, too. They kept things clean and installed my mini-split with minimal intrusion and noise. They were the 5th and last quote I received and they were the best for price, product and warranty out of everyone. I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend them to anyone.

I wouldn't give ANY stars! New unit installed May 9 and nothing but trouble with complying with THEIR contract. No attic support, warped outdoor compressor pad, NO COPPER TUBING PROTECTION (from the bare metal cutouts in the unit), no room balancing, noise, Noise, NOISE. Eight service calls for a new install is out frigging rageous! Mind you, the seventh "service" call was 2 days ago (Oct 6) when they said that the office would call to set up a time to fix "once and for all" by the end of the week. Today, Oct 8 they set it up for the 15th! I think that they believe I will just give up and not make them DO THEIR JOB but they would be wrong! This unit was not donated to us, we paid $32k CASH and that was OUR mistake but we are calling our lawyer.

I would give them 10 stars if possible. Contacted them on the 4th of July and someone returned my call within 10 minutes. They gave me the option for same day service, but to save a few dollars I chose to wait. They scheduled me for July 5th. The entire process was so easy and stress free. John, the Technician was WONDERFUL. My husband is going through a medical process which makes him susceptible to catching viruses, therefore; we requested the Technician to wear a mask. Before he even got out of the vehicle he had on his mask and kept it on the entire time. John did a great job and was friendly. He had our air conditioner up and running in a very reasonable time. He had the parts our AC needed so a second visit wasn't necessary. I will positively use Intelligent Design for our future needs.

Intelligent Design Air Conditioning Plumbing & Solar from Intelligent Design just left the house after installing a new air conditioning and heating system. It is cooling the house nicely. Intelligent Design has the best customer service and the two technicians that installed my system were the best. They both had great communication skills, were very personable and knowledgeable of their craft, and left my home and yard spotless. I really can't give them enough praise. The salesperson who I initially met with and who did the intensive testing on my home sold me on their equipment and instillation process. During my meeting with them, he was able to show me how Intelligent Design were far superior to all their competitors that I had already interviewed. The whole team hit the ball out of the park. Working with the Intelligent team took a stressful situation and made it pleasant. I am so pleased that I chose Intelligent Design. My advice would be not to wait till your current system breaks down in the middle of triple digit temperatures.

We had just a regular system check up today and the tech, James, that came out was so helpful and nice. He was extra cautious while going in and out of the house, due to Covid, and was super respectful. I had a couple of questions the previous tech had not been able to answer for me, and James had not problem answering them for me. He also took his time to explain how the system was working and went out of his way to help me fix my door to better hold our filters in place. He absolutely did not have to take it upon himself to fix my filter problem, he could have simply given me the idea and left it at that, but instead he took a little extra time (even having to run out for different tools) because he wanted to make sure it got done correctly and worked. This is the kind of customer service that goes a long way. The customer service received today in my home, and from Tanae, in the office is just one reason why we are proud Intelligent Design customers. I also love knowing that these guys cut no corners. James walked me through all of the pictures he had to take today, and it's quite a bit, but so reassuring knowing the extra time and care is taken. We appreciate James and the rest of the amazing staff at Intelligent Design.

Marty Hudecek and his partner (also Marty!) came by our place to help us locate and address a leak that was making the house extremely difficult to stay in. Extremely professional, really easy to talk to, and clearly highly experienced. Before Marty we'd had four or five other people come out from various HVAC / plumbing companies who either 1) didn't spend much time diagnosing, or 2) didn't listen when we told them the patterns or contributing factors. Needless to say they all gave their answers and none of them solved the problem. Marty and Marty came over, did a very thorough investigation all through and under the house, listened to us, walked us through each step, and eventually discovered a tiny little automatic vent that had stopped working due to age. Marty explained how it was supposed to function, then showed me how it was no longer functioning properly--then directed me to a Lowes for an $8 solution to this problem (he was happy to install it himself, but was looking to save us money since it's an easy install). Compare that against the thousands of dollars of various repairs all the other guys had suggested, and Marty is our go-to-guy from now on. Putting in the vent was easy as anything, and as of right now seems to have solved the problem that nobody else was able to even identify. Rock on, Marty!
