This ''company'' has me falsely listed as a current inmate of the Volusia County Jail in Daytona Beach FL. This misinformation is a defamation of character and is no doubt hurting my reputation and business! I have tried contacting them but all roads lead nowhere, as others reviewers have attested to. I want my name removed!

Inmateaid is saving me quite a bit of money. My bf is in county jail, and the phone company they use is outrageously expensive! For instate calls it is 4 dollars to connect the call and 1.25 a min. I signed up on inmateaid paid 19.95 and within 3 mins they sent me my phone number. Using their phone number brought it down to 21 or 25 cents a min which is alot!

Man you guys are still in business, lying to *** the family's of inmates, as do you not think extortion? is already happening by the phone companies like securus, inmate sales, jail atm? By essentially kidnapping our loved ones, and holding them hostage, and the only way they can talk to us is if we pay that. That's extortion! This company allows anyone to add a name (create an inmate profile) with no verification that said person is an inmate at said facility ... thereby allowing ANYONE to defame a person by making it appear a person is in prison. Because when doing an internet search in a name, this site returns results. As a result, a person can look like they are in a prison to the public when they are not. The lack of fact checking before adding a name to this site is totally irresponsible and hurting people's reputation.

According to this site I am currently an inmate? lmao. Apparently someone has the same name as me born on the same day and year and live in my county. This organization is a farce and has no facts. They take random names from emails and make people believe that person is an inmate so a friend or family member will pay to contact them and then not return their money when that person can not be contacted because they are not an inmate. I found out I was currently an inmate when I searched myself on the internet while at home on my day off from work. Do not use this money making ***.

I singed up for Inmate aid service 2 weeks ago now the number they supplied me to get discount calls will not work. I deposited $100 on this number with GTL and now it's just sitting there unable to be used. And the only way I can get it back is to cancel the account and wait up to 30 days to get a refund from GTL and give them more money to make further calls. I don't have that kind of money to keep giving to these shady companies only to be taken or replace every time they fail to do what they say. This is beyond ridiculous. I paid $20 for a service that I only got use out of for 2 weeks. You cant get in touch with this company because their phone number does not work and you will not get a response by sending them an email either. I will be calling my bank and submitting a fraud complaint on this company. For anyone thinking of using this company, DONT, RUN, they will take your money and give you no recourse when something goes wrong. Can anyone say class action suit!

I signed up with inmateaid, wish I had followed my gut during the process but I didn't. I signed up for the $19.95 deal and that day I received the phone number I was to give my fiance. I added it to my securus account like I was instructed to do, and gave him the number to use so I could save money on calls. I should have known something was wrong when I wasn't told cent/minute that I would be billed. Without inmateaid I am paying $0.23/minute ($4.58 for a 20 minute call) and with inmateaid I was charged $0.27/minute ($5.39 for a 20 minute call). Now, granted it's not a big difference but when I sign up with a company that's telling me I am going to SAVE money, I do NOT expect to pay more! Plus having to pay almost $20.00 on top of that! Big, huge disappointment. I have emailed them, but no answer. I have tried to call but always get a "The person you are trying to get ahold of's voicemail is full, please try back later" and it hangs up. I am extremely frustrated and aggravated over this encounter!

I purchased a month of service on the inmate aide website on January 19, 2024 which was $21.64 for 1000 minutes. I followed the instructions in the email which stated for me to call citicoin so that they could activate the phone line. I did that and citicoin is telling me they don’t have anything to do with the inmate aid website and I have to add additional funds to my account in order to contact my inmate. So what happens to the money I deposited to inmate aide? There’s no way of contacting them to get help nor a refund.

Unknowingly illegal information on site My information was added to this website without my knowledge. I contacted them and explained that I was never incarcerated, and would like my information removed from their site. On 12/12, I was told that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to be removed completely from google search. I reached out twice after that to let them know that my information was still on their website, and to remove it. They have not responded back either time. Charged for services not received. NO Customer Service ppl, VOICEMAIL IS FULL. NO REFUND. My sister has been released two months ago & I'm still having recurring charges on my Credit card for $19.95. First of all I made a one time purchase for inmate calling of $19.95 NOT a recurring purchase. I have been trying to call inmate aid (24 times on 12 different days) to get a refund no one answers, call goes to voicemail & voicemail is full. Very frustrating. How is it possible that they're able to collect money on services not rendered? Innocent people are being affected by this scam of a company.

This is a violation of Privacy. I've reached out to them via email and phone prior to March , and also recently. They have not responded to my email. I am demanding that they delete my profile from their database immediately! No one personal information should be made available to the public. This is a poor practice of customer service and professionalism. I am prepared to get my attorney involved.

My name is in inmate profile.This is outrageous & wrong INFORMATION with my info. Delete or send me your insurance carrier for my attorney... I could not believe that my name was entered with bad information about me as a inmate this is first class defamation of my charater...Get your information right...If you check I have owned an advertising agency for the past 23 years and no time for jail, my God get your info right please... We do over 600K in SEO alone besides TV and publishing..I know how mistakes happen... Please correct this! Also your why does your names and company company LLC show up as different locations with different names? If you correct your mistakes than all is fine if not I will take appropriate action ... federal civil and on line of dozens on social media site...I have the budget and a great attorney on retainer...Please put your self in my position.
