Indesit fridge freezer

I have a fridge freezer bought under 3 years ago . The freezer stopped working over two weeks ago . we had a ten year parts cover by indesit , A engineer came over a week ago he could not repair it never had the part . The part was ordered we were contacted to say the engineer was coming this morning when he turned up he apologised the part is not available . At the extra cost to us we now have to buy another fridge freezer . How can you guarantee 10 years parts when the parts are not available we have had a fridge freezer for 14 years without any problem not a Indesit may i add, we will never be buying a Indesit fridge freezer again . The engineer was most annoyed that he was the one to have to tell us the part . The age of the fridge freezer rings alarm bells this should have lasted alot long longer than under 3 years .

Indesit Indesit wall oven

I was using my grill to crisp off a shepherds pie at 140 which I have done loads of times then all the sudden I heard a loud bang when I turned around the oven door glass on the outside had shattered. Pictures attached. I am only advising you of this for a safety measure my cooker is 15 years old but still no one that I have talked to has ever heard of this happening before.

Indesit complaint around the warranty

I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Home Electrical Products

The issue that I have experienced was: I have had the tumble dryer for 16 months. It has stopped heating up and drying the clothes. I cannot remember if I registered the appliance but I have full proof of purchase and delivery. You are saying they are going to charge me to repair. 16 months? the guarantee is a con. its not applicable just because it wasn't registered? even though I have proof of payment and delivery?

It occurred on: 30/09/2022

I am extremely upset. I am single hard working mother. I feel frustrated and physically affected. There is a cost of living crisis and I cannot afford to have this repaired.

I would like you to agree fix my tumble dryer for free. it should last longer than 16 months

Indesit Service as bad as their equipment

TERRIBLE OVERALL SERVICE

I purchased my fridge freezer, model number: IBD5517WUK1 on the 24/1/2022. It stopped working on the 12/05/22 and all my food defrosted and had to be thrown away and so did the fridge items. I rung on the 13/05/22 as office was closed to ring the evening before. I was told an engineer would come on the 17/05/22 who did at 8:20am. Who confirmed it was not able to be fixed and it was leaking gas. I get told today 18/05/22 that it's with the claims team and will take 5-7 days to hear from them. You can't call as it tells you about your booking appointment for the engineer and doesn't give you the option to speak to anyone. I had to use online chat who just told me the same thing repeatedly about the 5-7 days wait. This is costing me a fortune especially with 2 children, as I have to shop in my convenience store as I havent got a fridge or freezer. Shocking service, customer service also! Shambles! Not impressed, i have only now moved in January and the extra cost this has put on me when I genuinely haven't got the spare money, the amount of added stress is unbelievable. I would never purchase anything from indesit again!

Please see enclosed call out report and proof of purchase seen below. The appliance has been brought from appliance direct back in July 2020, since it has been brought the item has been booked in for repairs twice. First visit took place back in March 2021 and second visit was in October 2021 and our tenant is still facing issues. Most recently the oven has completely stopped working, we have sent out our engineers to get the issue looked into and we have been notified that the issue is with the oven not anything else therefore our tenant has not made a full use of this appliance since it has been brought. Now our tenants has no cooking facilities within the premises, I have tried logging a complaint claim against your customer services representatives and the way this matter has been handled but your representatives over the phone have ben unhelpful, extremely rude, carless about the customer services and unreasonable each time. Clearly the situation with this specific appliance shows that the item is faulty therefore please professionally look in to this matter and our complaint and kindly replace the oven.

Bought the washing machine, it was delivered on the 4th of November 2021, on the 4th Dec 2021 it starting tripping my electrics, every time I turned power on all my sockets switched of, they sent a engineer who took 7 minutes to diagnose it needed a new board 5 days later a new engineer turned up to fit the board, and on explaining stated the previous engineer couldn't have diagnosed in 7 minutes, he fitted the board still no power he said motor was shower low voltage when it was plugged in so he ordered a new motor another week later sat waiting for another engineer 11 days with no washer relying on family members we are a household of 7 people, I ordered a new washer as I needed one, not to be running round trying to get clothes clean when iv 4 week old washer sat in my kitchen, very unreliable and very angry with the service iv received.

Desired outcome: To have a washer and compensating for the extra costs incurred in the 11+ days iv had to drive to family to get clothes cleaned.

Indesit id60c2ks electric cooker

The appliance was purchased in May 2020 from Hughes. After about 16 months the paint on the oven door bubbled and started peeling. I contacted Indesit and thought even though the product is over 12 months they would repair or replace the oven door as the item should be fit for purpose. I emailed the CEO and the reply was from their customer service to say basically that this was caused by how we cleaned it but we followed all manufacturing instructions regarding this. The reply was that they could not guarantee that a product would not develop a fault and that they would send someone out if we paid for it to be repaired. EMAIL FROM THEM - Dear Mr Donnelly,

Thank you for your email.

As the manufacturer we only recommend cleaning the exterior of our appliances with warm soapy water and a clean cloth. The use of any cleaning products that contain bleaches or chemicals can cause deterioration of the paint finish. Even using a cloth that has previously been used with cleaning products then dried out, when dampened the cleaning products will remain on the cloth, which is why we always recommend using a clean cloth.

As your appliance is outside the manufacturer warranty the for us to arrange for an engineer to attend this will be chargeable

I know this may not be the answer that you are looking for but this does clarify our position.

Unfortunately, even with all our quality control measures in place, there will occasionally be times when a failure occurs. Due to the above factors we cannot put a life expectancy on our appliances.

Whilst I appreciate your comments no manufacturer of electrical mechanical appliances can guarantee how long a part or product may last before a failure may occur. We can assure you that all of our appliances do comply with all domestic and European legislation on design and safety.

Whilst I do sympthaise unfortunately I can only advise on what has been advised to you and I can only suggest if you remain unhappy then please seek independent advice on the matter.

No this is not the answer I am looking for in fact it's an insult. I have had many cookers over the years and I have always followed manufacturer guidelines on cleaning them so you can understand how angry this makes me that you are putting this on the customer. The cooker is only six month over the12 month warranty but as this will increasingly get worse the cookers lifetime will be greatly shortened.

I find it insulting that neither Andrez or James has the guts to answer me directly and instead is leaving this to you, I would not be surprised if they haven't even seen this email.

I will be sending a complaint to trading standards regarding your uncooperating regarding this but I will of course go via the supplier of the appliance although as its over the 12 months he will just refer me back to yourself.

Desired outcome: Repair or new door or new appliance for free ( if repaired i want an extended warrenty for another 2 yrs to cover the appliance for any other defects like this occurring as i am unsure of the quality of the rest of the appliance

I do not think Indesit have the consumers best interest at heart . this is obviously a manufacturing fault and will soon rust and make the appliance unusable. Yet Indesit refuse to do anything to help

I have bought this product on 16.11.2018, delivered on 06.12.2018.The warranty of 2 years has expired.Still the product is full of rust, but they say it is made of stainless steel!
How can it be possible to be rusty stainless steel?!? I have noticed the rusty spots only a few months ago(5-6 months).
I never used products to clean it, only dishwashing gel and a very smooth sponge.Customer service didn't want to help because the warranty period has expired.Still, i have many stainless steel pots and they are not rusted in 10 years but the stove is rusted.
I don't agree with the lies, it says made of stainless steel but it is made of iron coated with something.I have bought it from Emag Romania.

Indesit Washing machine

I brought the washing last feb 12, 2021 and they delivered by feb. 16, 2022... A used it for a less than a month... The parts inside the spiner was broken... Take note.. I used it for a less than a month.. They told me it is good quality... Buy it is not... It is very hard to talk the service center they told me that I need to w8 for 48 hrs.. And they only have 1 technician in abu dhabi branch... It is so sad to trust the product that was not be trusted... I wrote this to give alert to anyone who has plan to buy indesit product. Q

Indesit Electric oven

I've been having the indesit oven since 5 years. I've also bought insurance together when buying the oven. But now I've been having few problems in the oven. All of my baking are getting overburnt too fast. As I'm in Perak I can't repair it as I can't even get a proper service man for it. I need a quick solution from the indesit company itself.

Indesit Indesit aria ifw62301x electric cooker.

Dear sir or madam I am writing to complain about the quality of the electric oven I acquired on the 12/10/2019 which was a indesit aria ifw62301x model from AO, The oven looked very nice considering it is in the lower price range and was happy with the features it came with e.g. easy cleaning, grill facility ect.
On receiving the oven I had a bit of a problem getting the door to fit but eventually managed, not an easy job for one person, was happy that the sizes given were exact and fitted into my cupboard unit perfectly and as it was a plug and use item very little problem. However on the secondf day of owning this appliance the bulb blew which I wasent happy about but as a perishable item swallowed this and bought another which was in fact very expensive for this model.
A couple of weeks later after the blown bulb we decided to use the grill facility which we found almost impossible to use it would either burn the food quickly or if you lowered the setting and the rack to the bottom would take forever so we decided not to use that facility anymore.
After a bit of use my wife decided to clean the oven due to some debrie from cooking we found it so hard to clean even though it was advertised as easy clean ceramic coating, even using state of the art cleaning products we never got the oven as clean as we would expect, then not too much longer after these incidents the rubber seal around the door popped out of its crevice I manage to reseat it but as soon as the oven get hot it just pops out again and has now lost its shape and lets heat out of the door.
Later in the year of owning it for approx. 6 months the actual cooking heater element fell from its mounting at the top of the oven causing our food to get completely burnt and ended up having a takeaway because we could not use the oven, when the oven cooled down I was able to see what had happened and pust the tab on the element back into the groove at the top of the oven but as soon as we tried to use it the metal expanded and it fell out again, as I am from a engineering background I actually made an extension for the tab and using the slot on the original tab bolted with a small 2ba nut and bolt extension which has cured the problem but because the heating element has fell several times before my modification the element is slightly bent towards the front of the oven door which obviously causes uneven cooking of food so we have to turn trays around half way through cooking to avoid uneven cooking.
I understand I did not complain at the time of these issues although I wish I had of now and the warranty is out of the year cover but I am writing to you to inform you of these problems with this model, I understand it is a cheaper model and that is partly my reasons for not contacting you earlier as I reasoned it was a cheap model but even so I still feel the amount of problems we have injured should not have happened on a brand new cooker even if it is a cheaper model in such a short space of time.
I would doubt very much if I would buy or even consider another indesit appliance after this experience as I have lost faith in the brand, but felt I needed to bring this to your attention for your quality control and customer relations for the future.
I understand this may be a one off Friday afternoon type of incident but then again it may not be and could harm your reputation as a leading home appliance company.

Indesit Gas cooker misrepresented & emitting carbon monoxide

This the second time i am contacting indesit.
The first was made on october 16
the first went without acknowledgement or reply.
i did not buy this in unit uk but in portugal.
the portuguese dont give a [censored].
it took them 18 months to repair a an oven control with no thermostat resulting in the oven being on full or off, when on emitting CARBON MONOXIDE with the potential of killing everyone in the house.
however, you might want to stop the '[censored] hitting the fan' should i get nowhere and decide to relate this to the eu health and safety directive.

so your company has FOURTEEN DAYS to resolve these issues to our satisfactory safety.

Almost immediately we noticed that there was no effective control for the oven flame. It was either off or ON FULL.
We called for support.
An engineer arrived and attempted to fix it.
He failed
He came again and failed again in Autumn.
He said the next time he would bring a new controller.
He was supposed to come early this year but because of the conspiracy virus he arrive today.
He fixed it.
The oven is now controllable.
Before, when we were cooking, the oven was burning so hot it was setting of the CARBON MONOXIDE sensor, putting our lives in real danger of death from CARBON MONOXIDE poisoning.
This should never have happened and it should not have taken this long to rectify.
Our previous cooker never emitted CARBON MONOXIDE

There was also an issue with the main burner not staying lit on initial lighting.
This was supposed to be fixed also, but has been conveniently forgotten.
Now, I realised that the step controls on ALL THE BURNERS do not function in the way that they are represented on the knobs.
The engineer said they were all like that.
Well the last cooker we had didn't have these fancy step conytrollers.
The flame would respond to the turn of the knbob.

The long and the short is that you supplied a gas appliance which was essentially lethal.
In addition you are selling goods that are being misrepresented in that the stepped burner controls are not sensitive like they are depicted on the knob dials.
The steps symbolised are full, two steps still almost full, then one step small, one more step then tiny flame. ON ALL the burners.

Now you have a choice
Either;
fix the step controls so that they represent what is being portrayed on the knobs,
or
supply me with a similar sized cooker which does have fully functioning stepped burner controls
or
supply me with a cooker without these stepped burner controls

Failing that I shall be obliged to contact the relevant EU department for health and safety for gas appliance
and also the relevant EU department which deals with misrepresentation of goods for sale.

Considering the threat of death to which we have been unwittingly exposed, I think that is reasonable.

Indesit xwe 81283

I have checked as much as I can and have determined as follows:
1. There is power entering the machine. It enters into the capacitor, to the electronic controller at the rear bottom of the machine, and then back out to all the devices. i.e. The front control panel, the water solenoid switches, the motor, etc.
2. I cannot start the washing machine by pressing the on off button getting no display on the front panel.
3. The washing machine is fairly new, I bought and installed it only in november 2019.
4. It suddenly ceased to function about 10 days ago and I have been trying unsuccesfully to find anyone to service the washing machine here in malaysia.
5. Today, I finally opened up the machine and checkhed everything. What I can determine is that there power going to all parts of the machine. My conclusion is that either the on off button is faulty, or the control board is faulty.

Fyi, I am 50% fluent in repairing machines like this. Although this is the first time I am handling an inverter unit with an ecu. (electronic contoller unit).

Indesit warranty on washing machine

I purchased a washing machine from appliances delivered November 2018. I bought a two year extended warranty. This company has since closed but they assured customers that all warranties would be honoured by the manufacturer. I called and was directed to domestic and general who told me the warranty was cancelled. I called back to whirlpool and was told it would be a charged callout. I already asked three engineers and he said it sounded like a bearing was gone, I paid one to come out to tell me that. They all agreed.

Indesit cooking range

Our 5 burner cooking range (model no I95TICXEX 90/60) has an issue with ignition on the centre burner.
When pushing, holding and turning the knob, the burner ignites but soon the flame goes off when I withdraw my hand.
The device is still under warranty period.
Can you please help me to sort out the issue?

Indesit dryer water pump machine

I has use indensit dryer machine 2, 1/2 year but now I face the problem is, while I start the machine to dry up my clothes, machine start about 5minute it auto warning pls check water /filter. But when I take out the water tank, it is dry. And I have try more than 6times, same problem it show. Can pls send mechanical to check. I also try to contact 1800881770, but fail! Waiting your reply.

Indesit washing machine

Hi, the technical representative was sent to my home a month back to examine the washing machine and was supposed to follow up with repair, but has not returned until now. The faulty part was identified to be the drum as the washing machine wasn't spinning. The customer service line has been engaged all the while and there is no email address to communicate. Appreciate if you could assist asap

Indesit dishwasher idl 50

I have had an indesit dishwasher idl50 and within 18 months I had to replace the front fascia where the plastic handle to open the dishwasher had cracked. Now less than 12 months later the same fault means that I now need to replace this fascia yet again! The dishwasher itself is working as it should be but the additional cost of the fascia is absolutely not on. I feel I have been burdened with an obvious design fault. I would appreciate your comments and would like to know what response you might have to a very disgruntled customer.
