IAA My car was repo to their lot

My car was repo to their lot. I paid for the car before the car made it to their lot (so they say). My daughter picked up the car and we didn't know to look in the "box" of things for ALL of our belongings. I'm not understanding why they went into the car when it was paid in full before it got to their lot. I didn't arrange for a pick up for my things, they went into my car and stole my garage opener, my magnet for my phone (which is unless without the other part that's on my phone), and my daughter had some *** in the trunk which are missing as well. The representatives were very unprofessional and actually hung *** in my face because they were lying about what was in my car. This place should be shut down because all they seem to do it steal people's belongings and get away with it. They need to be stopped ASAP!

scammers I bought a 2008 *** Rav 4 from the their *** branch in ***. IAAI Posted the vehicle as a Run and Drive . I live in *** , so I relied on their advertisement as a Run and Drive vehicle. I bought the vehicle and paid over $1300 for transportation . When the vehicle arrived the ENGINE was bad. That's clearly deceptive and false advertisement. They gave me the run around and I am stuck with trash.

Bought car taht was advertised run and drive. When delivered car was not going in the reverse. Called manager he said his mechanic said it was running. That does make no sense. They don't want to take car back. That is shameful and false advertising. You can't trust these guys.

IAA I am the owner of a company who is a registered dealer and IAAI buyer and have been for many years

I am the owner of a company who is a registered dealer and IAAI buyer and have been for many years. I purchased a vehicle from their *** and resold the vehicle to one of our good customers. Unfortunately, when our customer took the title they gave us to their local DMV they were told the title "wasn't worth the paper it was printed on" and that this was an older duplicate version of the car's title. IAAI advertised this car as having a clear title. As big as the company is, you would think they have a process for verifying titles prior to reselling vehicles. My feeling is that someone didn't do their job. Anyway, it's been over 6 months and they have failed to provide a good title for the vehicle they sold us. The customer service has been terrible. Multiple times the manager (***) stated she would get back to us by the "EOD" and we never hear from her. Very poor customer service there.

It is very unfortunate that you make people miserable. I saw a 2012 *** Elantra that says run and drive with no engine issue. The dealer bought the car, we paid over $4000, I mean over $4000 when the car was dropped off at the mechanics behold it was a totally damaged engine. I was also made to pay $250 to pick it up. This is absolutely wrong and fraudulent. You really need to change this deceptive attitude.

Crooks, plain and simple. They lie about virtually everything. If ya call them on it and act as though you are not pleased to be screwed... You very well may find your account revolked. Take a few moments and read the rules they set out for themselves. BUYER BEWARE. They will stand behind nothing that they put in print.I spent a good deal of money with these folks. They changed the few schedule again...I asked them, what my fees would be. 30 days later I find a fine fellow who finally tells me. However in the 30 days of emails, I became revoked.Stay with Manheim or Adesa, those folks are at least logical in the s*** of dealers

IAA Scammers

Scammers. They sold a vehicle to *** which I bought. I understand it's a buyers beware market, but they did not even sign off on the title. Multiple sites show they once listed the truck I bought. I have the number and pictures. I guess IAAI and *** not subject to the same laws as the consumer? They can commit fraud and title jumping? They were actively trying to hide the history of the auction. *** bought the truck from IAAI, and even though IAAI had it listed as "*** NOT RUN AND DRIVE", *** changed it to "*** AND DRIVES". I guess the pandemic hasn't been hard enough on the average American. People dying, financial stress, people relying on used cars because they don't have many option. No humanity. Business like this think apparently think they above the law and scam every last bit out of the little guy. Just completely gross human beings. What's worse? They are going to completely get away with it. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Stay away from this company. They force you to use their IAAI Transport for pick up and if you dont, they charge storage fees starting 2 days after buying if not picked up.

Some damage happened to the tire of my car. The cost was over *** dollars and my insurance company took my car to this place. WORST PLACE EVER DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Wasnt happy with my options but I decided to take my car somewhere else and when I called this place no one picked up. I called 20 times in one day and left 10 voice mails. They go through your car which Im not happy about they shouldnt be doing that. They took off my license plates (which I have no idea why) and worst of all its been 3 days since Ive called them and still no answer. Dont recommend this place.

IAA in *** towed my car. I spoke with *** who was rude so I asked for a manager. She put me on the phone with *** who was 10x more nasty! Rude! Over talking me. Not listening to a word I had to say. She kept talking over me and was constantly repeating the same thing. And using phrases Like I said when I tried to talk to her.

I was in a car accident on May 12, 2022. My car was first towed by *** Service in *** and then it was towed to IAA ***, ***. Somewhere between B&B and IAA some money was taken out of my car. It wasnt a small amount it was around $200 or more. My car was totaled and when I went to collect my belongings from my car that was then at IAA the money disappeared. I called both places and reported the missing money but neither company seemed to care that the money disappeared while in their possession of my vehicle. No company has the right to go through my belongings that were in the car and feel that it is ok to help themselves to whatever they may like. My insurance company with be filing a claim and a complete police investigation will be done.

IAA IAA has caused me so much stress

IAA has caused me so much stress. The customer service is Truly the worst Ive ever experienced in my life. I purchased a car through them for *** dollars. IAa listed the car as a run and drive vehicle but it was a lemon. the car did not start, it did not move it did not shift gears . The car was inoperable. After picking the car up I immediately had it checked by a professional mechanic and was told that it needed a transmission. I spoke with a manager by the name of *** 8-12-22 he agreed to refund me my money that following Monday. After reaching out to him on Monday to sign the paperwork a different manager by the name of *** answered telling me that *** had been fired. So that he would offer me $300 for my losses. I did not agree . so then he told me to contact the branch manager *** who have not been able to contact for three weeks now. I would never do business with this company again. And I will continue to take further action until this problem is resolved.

IAA I had a great experience with Summer at the main office

I had a great experience with Summer at the main office. When I called about selling my car to them through Peddle.com she was very helpful at getting all my information correct unlike the last place I tried to sell my car. She set up a pickup time that best suited my time frame by the next day from when I had accepted terms to sell my car. I then was in contact with *** the morning of pickup to verify it was scheduled. He confirmed my pickup time between 12 and 5. The last person I talked to was at their ***, *** branch, and she was very helpful as well by getting in contact with the driver to make sure they were still coming that day. She was unable to get an ETA, but he would call within an hr of pickup. I verified that it would be OK that my fiance was there at time of pickup since I had to be at work, and it was. I received a call around 3pm from the very nice driver that he would be there in about an hr, and he was. Gave title, and received check. Driver started car and put on lift, and was done within 5 min. Very easy, friendly staff, and great experience. Would do again if needed.

IAA IAA in Virginia (Tidewater) received my vehicle after it was in a collision and assumed as totaled

IAA in Virginia (Tidewater) received my vehicle after it was in a collision and assumed as totaled. They looked over my vehicle and my insurance company deemed it repairable. This branch then put my vehicle ON THE IAAI WEBSITE listed as auction not assigned, not ready for sale, and title wait AFTER my insurance company confirmed they would be picking up to take to my mechanic for a tear down inspection. They claimed this is standard protocol because we use the website as a form of inventorying the vehicles on the lots but they have pictures, VIN, and a video of my car running. I can understand if it was in a different tab specifically for inventorying vehicles but its in the same place as all the vehicles that are currently being bossed on. They put my car on the website to entice potential buyers. I am going to be bringing in authorities because you have NO RIGHT to have my car listed for your benefits because it IS NOT YOUR VEHICLE. I have pictures of my car prior to IAA and the pictures show that they took pictures while it was raining, with the windows down and showing that the interior was soaked from the rain! Disgusting how they have treated my vehicle when they dont even own it!

IAA I came to interact with this business through Carvio

I came to interact with this business through Carvio. The phone conversations and set up for pick up was with employees who identified themselves as calling from Insurance Auto Auctions. Last night I left work early to wait at home for a four hour period for my car to be picked up. I was originally asked to be there 8a-5p but I asked if it could be narrowed down. I was told the pick up time would be 4p-8.No one showed up, no one called, no one emailed. This morning I received a call at 11a. It went to voicemail because I was in the middle of a repair at at work and unable to answer. When I check the voicemail they say they don't do pick ups 4p-8p and want to reschedule. Looking through other reviews regarding pick ups it doesn't look like rescheduling helps, and it just causes me to miss even more work. This was after a week and a half of playing phone tag because I would be called while I was driving or in a lesson. When I called back I would hear a message saying to expect a 60 second wait time, and five minutes later I'd give up and leave a message. Now they have a copy of my driver's license and car title (my poor decision and I'm quite embarrassed at this point), I still have a car sitting in my drive way. IAA You will Pay for Their MistakesI found interest in a vehicle that was listed with a ***'s Label

You will Pay for Their MistakesI found interest in a vehicle that was listed with a ***'s Label. IAA markets/encourages buyers to purchase these units due to their clear history and titles.I purchased one without a title to rerun wholesale through another auction.Upon picking up the vehicle, I noticed that the *** company Sticker/Label was removed. I later discovered that the seller was in fact an Insurance company NOT a rental car company. I did some more research and found out that the title was Junked. The *** was Clear but *** had a Junk History. Some bidders are unable to bid on ***, and had it been disclosed beforehand, I would've never purchase the unit. It is unlikely for the rental car companies to sell junk vehicles, which is why I let my guard down. Had I known that an insurance company was the seller I would've been more cautious. The branch (*** North) exhibited unfair/deceptive marketing practices which led me to purchase a vehicle I would not have purchased had all of the information been truthfully disclosed.I spoke to the Branch agent and *** and corporate agents Twice, and all I received was an admission of the mistake. Although everyone understood my issue, no one was willing to do anything about it. I feel deceived and taken advantage of. I feel like my business is not held at any value."

IAA My vehicle was delivered to IAA in Dale, TX, on November 24, at 10:00 AM via tow truck to be inspected for an estimate of damages

My vehicle was delivered to IAA in Dale, TX, on November 24, at 10:00 AM via tow truck to be inspected for an estimate of damages. The vehicle was removed from the tow truck at 10:08 AM and moved again within the site at 11:50 AM. Oddly, the battery was removed/depleted at 6:00 PM. On, November 25, I was informed my vehicle was to be totaled or salvaged due to the damages, thus, I needed to pick up my belongings that were still in the vehicle. At 3:30 PM, I arrived to IAA and noticed the vehicle has been RUMMAGED through with my belongings SCATTERED everywhere from side pockets, center console, the trunk, and in areas that were not located near any damages to in be inspected. After retrieving my scattered belongings, I discovered all of my coins from the center console and my Broadway rearview mirror attachment were missing. I do not mind the missing money, but the Broadway mirror had sentimental value to me as it had original photo stickers on it from over 10 years ago and cannot be copied. I initiated contact more than several times for the past several weeks while speaking to various people such as Gloria (representative), Jessica (representative), Yesenia (representative), Blanca (supervisor), and Jason (yard manager) ; however, it seems IAA is ignoring my case and have not made any progress nor attempt to offer a solution. Therefore, this business seems to condone theft and should not be trusted to conduct any future businesses.

IAA *** passed the purchase to Peddle (***)

passed the purchase to Peddle (***). Peddle assigned *** by Insurance Auto Auctions (IAA) to pick up the car I sold them. I was given a time frame of 8-12pm for pick up on June 4th with a call 30 min to 1 hour before pick up. I called at IAA 11:40am & noon. Was told both times they were running late but would give me a call soon. I called at 4:30. Was told again they were behind but would call me soon. I called at 5pm. I was told they driver had been contacted and i should receive a call soon. I called again at 5:15pm. The office was ***! I called Peddle 3 times between 5:15 and 6pm. They were unable to contact ***. I was told they had no other number to call. *** told me she tried to email the IAA office but could not guarantee it would be seen before Monday. The supervisor, *** told me she was able to reach someone just before they left the office but they could not contact dispatch because they left at 5pm. I was told it's possible my pick-up had been rolled to Monday but there was no way the Peddle agent could confirm this. It is now 8:35pm and I STILL have not received a call from the IAA driver. I have had to have friends wait on my since noon so I could have a ride home. They were put out waiting with me. I was put out waiting all afternoon. Since I have to be present when the driver arrives to exchange the title for payment, this tied up my entire afternoon and evening. "

IAA I have two series issue within this week first Key issue, second the car description has change from Run& Drive to None firs car On Tue Apr 7 I

I have two series issue within this week first Key issue, second the car description has change from Run& Drive to None firs car On Tue Apr 7 I have bought 2009 Mercedes *** Stock #*** Selling Branch:Long Island (NY). in the car description say's the Key Present. Today I send Drive to Pick up the Car, they didn't give him the Keys, when he ask for key, the Iaai told the driver they don't have it. he call me and I call the Branch to find out the resolution for this issue, they are told me they are not have it, and they are not guarantee and they are not will do anything for it and it's in the policy, they told me I have to get the key by my self and I have to pay for it and they . I call the Mercedes Dealer and I get Roughly estimation with $800-$900 for key and Programming Plus Towing which I have to Tow the car to the dealer. and IAAI branch they are not cooperative or helpful, I call again need to talk to Manger after I get who I'm and the reason for calling and kind of police question before they transfer me to the Manger, and they but me on hold then they disconnect the call , I call back I get another Clerk and get same question and get my phone number and she said give me few mint to call me back and never did, until time passed 5 and closed. As no body will help or could help after long years of buying form Iaai, and help a lot of others to buy from Iaai 99% of cars bought we export, I feel i get misleading and not honest that will make me and any body I knew or help them to get exporting licences to buy form Iaai think twice before I buying or not buy anything in future.

IAA IAA branch ***, ** has the worst IAA management in the Midwest ***

IAA branch ***, *** has the worst IAA management in the Midwest ***. As an owner of a used car dealership that only sells rebuilt title vehicles we purchase from IAA branches all over the country and this branch has the poorest management. Purchased a vehicle on my floorplan in August and HAVE NOT RECIEVED A TITLE and it is almost January. I am beyond frustrated while waiting and being charged curtailment fees. I have called buyer services and I keep being redirected to the branch, although every time I call I get a new person and have to reexplain my situation. As a fellow business owner I am appalled due to the fact I have not once received a phone call or email from the branch manager or any other management with IAA to discuss the matter in order to fix this situation of having a vehicle that was sold without a title. I will say the customer service agents have been very understanding and attempted to assist me to the best of their ability, however I have requested the branch manager to call me to discuss this situation have emailed him multiple times with no response. Very poor management as far as I can see. In over 5 years of purchasing vehicles with IAA I have had only one other instance of needing to get a problem resolved with a vehicle at the *** branch. I emailed the manager to discuss the matter and I received a phone call the next business day to discuss it. We had the situation taken care of within a few days. I understand not all situations can be taken care of in a few days, although a phone call from management will always ensure a customer of proper care of their concern or situation.

IAA We contacted Clunker *** for a quote online to sell a truck

We contacted Clunker *** for a quote online to sell a truck. Immediately we get a text from Peddle. There is no affiliation between the two companies mentioned online. Peddle instructed us how to fill out the title and said the tow truck driver would contact us on his way between *** on 10/8. When the driver pulled up he gave us a check for the promised $770.00, and we turned over the title. Being a previous bookkeeper, while the truck was being attached to the tow truck, I tried to verify the check. It was cut from *** of America ***, but the company was out of ***, . I've never seen a check where the check number comes first, then the routing number, then the bank account number. There were no security features on the check (a watermark, fibers, heat sensor, etc.) Upon contacting *** of America's website to verify the account number, it couldn't be found. I called the *** of America merchant verification system. I tried both the routing number and the account numbers, but neither number could be found in the *** of America system. The driver agreed to let me run to our local branch to verify the check, and the IAA representative he was on the phone with instructed him to take the check back immediately. Obviously they did not want it verified. For any one dealing with Clunker ***, Peddle or Insurance Auto Auctions, please be advised that a check being presented with the check number first, then a routing number, then the account number is fraudulent. I was wise enough to take a picture of the check before it was returned and will be filing a complaint with *** of America when I get it verified again that this is a fraudulent check.

IAA I arrived at the *** North branch on 12/17 to pay and p/u a car

I arrived at the *** North branch on 12/17 to pay and p/u a car. I was not driving my vehicle that day and didnt have a mask with me. When I walked in to the lobby I was immediately questioned about the mask. I explained and pulled my shirt over my nose and said this should be ok right? Im here to pay for a car. The representative was *** and she said no but I will sell you a mask. I said Im not interested in paying for a mask, I need to pay for a car. Then the branch manager *** said in a loud tone you need a mask. I said Im not buying a mask, are you refusing to take my payment? Then he comes out to the lobby and gets within two feet of me and said do you think I want to where this mask? I said to him do not to get any closer to my face. He said I'm not in your face. Them a yard worker came up to me and said here I got you a new mask you can have it and gave it to me, I put it on and then *** said where is your vest? I said I dont have one with me, I need to pay for a car, do I need a vest to pay for a car!? Then after a brief moment *** accepted my payment. I did leave some feedback on the IAAI app but thought maybe it was just a bad day, so I didnt go further with a complaint. On 12/23 I arrived at the *** North branch to pay for a purchase (had my mask and vest) and gave the representative my buyer # and check for purchase. I was told its over my check writing limit she would see what can be done. After around 30 minutes she said she needed manager approval. I explained to her that I can also provide the manager with my account balance though my bank app so he would see that funds are there. *** branch manager said no cant do it. I went to my bank and completed the purchase, but not after inconvenience and my time waisted. I am a Dealer, a frequent buyer and have been a IAA buyer for several years. I cant believe an individual like this is a branch manager. I would like IAA to reimburse me for my most recent buy fee for this treatment. The stock # is zero zero zero three one six one seven two two seven. I have contacted IAAI customer service several times and they opened a complaint case, but have yet to get back with me.

IAA My IAA Buyer ID is *** and I am a motor vehicle wholesaler in ***

My IAA Buyer ID is *** and I am a motor vehicle wholesaler in ***. My IAA membership expired on 3/2 or 3/3/2022 and I did not to renew it because IAA was not allowing vehicle preview since the covid-19. Then I received an email that IAA was reinstating vehicle preview days at all locations beginning Monday, March 7, 2022. As a result, I renewed my membership after the stated date. Before I bought my first vehicles after my renewal I went to ***, *** branch to preview them and I was told that the branch is not allowing previews. I went to *** and *** branches, and they are also not allowing vehicles preview. Of the five vehicles I purchase - all with CLEAN titles, RUN & Drive and no salvage history - only one stock *** meets my expectations. Stock *** has bad transmission and completely separated exhaust system. Stock *** catalytic converter has been cut off the vehicle. Also, the frontend suspension is falling apart that the vehicle cannot safely drive at 20mph. Stocks ***, *** have more problems than the website reveals. By Friday, April 29, 2022 I am picking up #*** and I am already dreading the condition it will be in. Car buying is suppose to be a joyous occasion. By not giving buyers the opportunity to preview vehicles before bidding and not holding sellers responsible for vehicles with undisclosed safety issues and need major repairs IAA is punishing good buyers and rewarding dubious sellers who cannot sell their cars in the open markets but dump their junks at IAA for huge profit. IAA should refund the amount of these bad sale for not allowing previews and/or charge them to the sellers who refused to disclose the conditions. My Friday pick up will be my last purchase vehicle if IAA does not reinstate vehicles preview as promised in the email and I will be requesting a fund of my membership fee.

I am a car dealer (small business) I have a very hard time dealing with IAA auction 1. charged very high fees with disgusting service in branch, calls (please try to call customer service -wait for more than an hour, I dont know these crazy fees they charged for what reason) 2. I bought serval cars with damage and missing parts than the pictures of the online sale, repot them to the (very busy branch) but no solving or refund issued. they charge away higher than any place in the world with the worse service. Each car almost total of $ 700 to $1000 fees only 3. for their charge no mercy but for buyer like me no help and refund or reimbursement. I wonder if you could support me with these issues A. recent purchase, the car came to me with no pumper (including lights and chest) the pumper was in picture. Talked with the receptionist she said they can't find it. I need reimbursement for this B. another car has a pumper was attached in pictures, but they brought it to me damage and separated from the vehicle. I reported to the manger *** (*** IAA) (have to wait for hours) but no help my account with IAA is *** my business name Queen *** Auto the recent purchase Kia *** 2012 Stock#:[protected] VIN:*** the old one *** CRV Stock#:[protected] VIN:*** By the way I called serval times, filed online complain no answer or response at all do you believe that I took my wife to check the broken damage cars they have they charged me $75 (beside my membership- asked several times to waive they said no)they charge me $20 to give them my money order in branch

On 11/22/2022 I was a first time bidder of a 2008 nice *** Navigator at Phoenix Branch. $1500 was suppose to be my max *** Auction started and i noticed a suspicious SHILL bidder jumping high each time I bid, I won the bid at $2200 with fee's its about $3100. I live 120 miles from *** in *** so i could not go there to pre-view this truck. also I heard they were closed most of time for viewing due to no parking. The flawless nice body and clean black leather seats pictures of truck looked suspicious as well of sound video of it running for 10 seconds didn't sound like a 5.4 triton *** so after the fact I started my own investigation and found info through VIN checks and the previous dealer that sold it. Its been in a lawsuit in 2019 where the owner owed $9000 and skipped payments. also it was a volunteer repo. and failed *** the picture without a single scratch. So on 11/25/2022 I demanded the current video and current pictures and they refused. then they agreed to send ONLY a picture of keys on seat and under truck showing the *** converters are there. So I asked why not take pictures of the 4 sides of body if nothing to hide? they refused. Unbelievable. this needs to be a felony and criminal. this means they have a FAKE LISTING and or PHOTO SHOPPED pictures. it takes *** phone. BUSTED! its not really a RUN and DRIVE car and title is dirty with a duplicate out there somewhere. Engine most likely has the notorious *** failed PHASERS and TIMING CHAINS which i can live with just DONT LIE ABOUT IT. and post a STAGED FAKE PHOTO and FAKE RUNNING VIDEO. when i asked for a new video of them cranking it up live. they REFUSED. They have will not waive the renege fee even though THEY LIED!

IAA I am disabled 10 yrs and finally recovered enough to do something to subsidize my disability income

I am disabled 10 yrs and finally recovered enough to do something to subsidize my disability income. I needed a black *** to start a high-end Limosine svs in my beach town where I live. I saw a *** Listed on-line at SCA as *** w 18,107mi. I called IAA where car was sitting to ask them to check the mileage. I said it was the BLACK *** 244 stock #***-She said its not required"-"its not necessary...I said Its very Important. She said it would take a while and would call back.Left VM saying mileage 181,076mi. I called and asked her to change the listing and asked her to check the car for unspecified front end damage noted on website [DAMAGE REPORT YES- FRONT END NONE] AGAIN I specified 'the *** BLACK ***#.We waited while someone looked. I talked extensively about how "Excited I was to find a BLACK *** there very rare and intended to start a limosene service, and Had to have a black car." She put me on hold 2x for long time, came back asking again which car stock#and color. She stated she needed to talk to her supervisor and hung up.I did not hear from her again. The morning of the auction they changed the listing to "DAMAGE YES - FRONT END UNKNOWN but not mileage.I called and INSISTED miles changed AGAIN noting *** BLACK *** Again "its not required"and its not important I discussed why it was Critically important. They revised listing 30 min later. The car was also listed as black w a company "***" SCA offered link to buy a more detailed report. This is where I found 2accident reports front end ALSO stating" BLACK and 81K mi". I won the bid.Car arrived is BLUE. Purchase date 02/2/22 Car delivered 03/09/22 I spoke to IAA explaining my disability/eyes(2x) hoping they would paint it or refund me 100%.They refused both offers. I am loosing jobs almost daily and the stress has triggered my illness. Their email addresses now reply undeliverable.

On 05 Oct 2022 I was in a single car accident. My car left the roadway and made contact with a roadside reflector post (the green ones that are shaped like a U, 1/16 steel about 4 in total with that stand about 5 high on the side of the road). My RR quarter panel has some damage & the plastic bumper cover is going to need to be replaced. I brought the car to Maacco located in the *** center. They quoted the repairs at $6500. Because USAAs app froze it took 9+ days to get in touch with an adjuster. When I did contact an adjuster he was advising me to have the vehicle towed to their facility to have their guy look at it. He was being pushy about it and I didnt like the idea but I trusted USAA to be doing the right thing. Their guy was at IAA and its not a repair, Its an auto auction. I was told I had a day to get anything from my vehicle, but a few hours later my car was gone. Fortunately, I spoke with a friend about what was going on and he was aware of the shenanigans they pull and told me they were gonna try to steal my car. The next morning (Thursday) at 7AM I was on the phone with USAA telling them I wanted my car out of there. It took IAA till Monday evening to have my car back to me with the front valence destroyed, the drivers window was left wide open and my drivers seat & entire floor is soaked, and the electric motor on my seat adjustment is no longer working. Additionally Ive got a significant amount of property missing. Not all of it, most of it was thrown in the truck without regard, but anything that and any value is gone. Some notable items are a tube of 1toz silver buffalos, my blue point set, and every piece of loose change, roughly 5lbs of post *** dimes and quarters (I save the *** and pennies for their metal value) Additionally, although the first shop was able to do the job at $6,500 these guys quoted the job at $16,500.

IAA charged a $200 annual renewal fee to my credit card without any warning or invoice. I did not knowingly request an "automatic" annual renewal. They offered me a free account. They emailed me (on a Saturday) informing me that they had charged my credit card on-file. That same day, the *** that the renewal was "due" I tired to cancel this payment, which I did not knowingly authorize, and they did not respond, nor did they "allow" me to use their chat function. They claimed that I was not able to supply the proper credentials to do so. I have entered a dispute with my bank against this charge. I have entered a complaint in their on-line system (a week ago) and they have not replied beyond an automatically generated email that states they will get back to me - which they have not. Also, when I tried to delete my credit card info from their web site, they would not allow me to do so stating that the account was needed to process their payment. I also tried to change my account to NOT have "automatic" renewal, and their web site would not allow that EITHER. I am concerned that they are stealing from many other people as well. I have screen captures of the communication w/ IAA if that will be helpful. Thank you.

I paid a fee to bid on vehicles online from IAA unbeknownst to me there are additional fees which have to be paid once auction is completed. These extra fees were not mentioned when I initially signed up for the auctions. I consequently won a vehicle but by the time the extra fees were added the vehicle was no longer a bargain. I contacted IAA on multiple occasions to no avail, after complaining I was no longer able to bid or buy anything. I paid 200 dollars to be able to bid/but salvage vehicles. Since I am unable to bid/buy I would like my money back

IAA I would like to know after hitting a deer in my jeep progressive insurance towed my car to IAA an auction salvage yard before I was notified of

I would like to know after hitting a deer in my jeep progressive insurance towed my car to IAA an auction salvage yard before I was notified of the estimate and that they totaled out my vehicle. I had no idea where my jeep was When I found out an estimate for what I believe was a low settlement price and a high estimate on how much it would cost to fix it I knew something wasn't right I called another progressive agent and they said my jeep was totaled And to my surprise it was at IAA an auction yard in *** I went there today to retrieve anything I may have left in my jeep after I got permission to get in my own property finally Why is my jeep at an auction Yard?At this point and from day 1 after I received the estimate MY MINDSET IS TO GET THE *** AND FIX IT So today I go to IAA in *** Remember I own my jeep I hold the title This manager comes out and pretty much Questions me about what I am taking out of the vehicle I own Paid off for 10 years I am agitated and told him I am not stripping my own jeep I have the title I asked why my license plates are off my jeep He says Quote We take all the plates off so we can take pictures for auction vehicles. And how would that be possible without a title? This is my vehicle I own it So yes I voiced my opinion I get home and instantly check their auctions at *** IAA There it is my vehicle picture after picture inside and out and a video with the engine running advertising the sale of my jeep dated the day progressive had it towed to IAA Before I knew the settlement or that they totaled it out and looks like it has been on their website for days I have not signed anything or agreed to any settlement He knew my jeep was on their website when I was there and tried to back out of his statement How is this legal to advertise anything you don't own? I will check *** and take the necessary steps to stop this By the way Progressive advertises on The IAA website

MADE MY FIRST PURCHASE WITH THIS COMPANY ON NOVEMBER 7. I LATER DECIDED I DIDN'T WANT THE VEHICLE DUE TO MANY HIDDEN FEES AFTER THE PURCHASE. THIS COMPANY CHARGES AN ANNUAL BIDDING FEE OF $200.00 SO I DIDN'T THINK THERE WOULD BE ADDITIONAL BUYERS FEES ON A PURCHASE. I CALLED THE COMPANY TO ASK WHAT THE PENALTY WOULD BE TO RENEGE ON THE PURCHASE. THE WOMAN I SPOKE TO ON PHONE WAS HARD TO UNDERSTAND. HER ENGLISH SPEAKING WASN'T GREAT. I MISUNDERSTOOD HER WHEN SHE SAID WHAT THE PENALTY WOULD BE. I UNDERSTOOD THAT THE PENALTY WOULD BE 15% OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OR $1000.00, WHICHEVER IS LESS. I ASKED SEVERAL TIMES IF IT WAS ONLY THE 15% THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY AND SHE SAID YES. SO I SAID TO GO AHEAD AND CANCEL THE PURCHASE. I LATER FOUND OUT THAT I WAS MISTAKEN OR MIS INFORMED. THE PENALTY FEE WAS IN FACT $1000.00. THE VEHICLE THAT I PURCHASED WAS PRICED $850.00 SO WHY WOULD I EVER CANCEL THE BUY IF I KNEW THE PENALTY FEE WAS GREATER THAN THE PURCHASE PRICE? I SPENT MOST OF THE *** ON NOVEMBER 14 ON HOLD AND LEAVING MESSAGES WITH THE COMPANY ASKING THEM TO HELP ME RESOLVE THIS MISTAKE. I ALSO NOTICED THIS VEHICLE WAS STILL AVAILABLE TO BE PURCHASED FOR $850.00 ON THE WEBSITE SO I ASKED IF I COULD JUST GO AHEAD WITH THE PURCHASE INSTEAD OF PAYING THE PENALTY. EVERY PERSON I SPOKE WITH WERE COMPLETELY INCONSIDERATE AND WOULD NOT HELP ME REVERSE THIS MISTAKE. THEY INFORMED ME THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO HELP ME. I TOLD THEM THIS WAS MY FIRST PURCHASE AND I AM A SMALL BUSINESS THAT CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY A PENALTY LIKE THIS AND NOT RECEIVE A VEHICLE. ALL I WAS ASKING WAS TO MAKE IT RIGHT WITH ME SINCE IT WAS A MISTAKE/MISUNDERSTANDING.

IAA I purchased a vehicle May 19, stock number *** It was listed as normal wear and tear, running and driving, and a had a video of the car

I purchased a vehicle May 19, stock number *** It was listed as normal wear and tear, running and driving, and a had a video of the car running. everything included was $2218. Come to find out the vehicle has major mechanical damage which would cost more than the cost of the vehicle to fix the car itself needing to change the water pump and timing chain at the same time.IAA has a separate distinction for vehicles with major mechanical issues they would note it down in the condition of the vehicle as mechanical or engine damage etc etcthis was listed incorrectly!I called to complain and let them know that somebody list the car incorrectly and I wanted my money back they denied that and said the most that they can do is put the car back to auction I was angry I was frustrated but if its their policy not to give a refund then at the very least let me turn the car back in and I should get the money I paid for it or somewhere close to it. When I return the vehicle it had already been fully detailed vacuumed and scrubbed clean so I returned this vehicle in BETTER condition than when I got it.When they receive the vehicle they listed it as non-running( stationary) and noted that the vehicle had mechanical damage, and posted no video of the engine running!Armed with this knowledge I called them back demanding a refund this is clear proof they made a mistake! if I brought the car back in better condition they should have relisted it the exact same way it was shown when I bought it.I spoke to Estefany or *** she said she would pull the car from the auction contact a manager and get back to me she never got back to me, I ended up calling a few days later when I noticed the car was gonna go to auction spoke to someone else managed to get the car pulled they said they were reaching out to *** who would call me back and the last time I attempted to call them was yesterday June 13th 2022. No one called me at all.I want a refund.

I own a dealership in ***, I bid on cars regularly at the IAA *** locations. I never had an issue till I started overpaying them for delivery to *** using their IAA *** services which took 3 weeks to deliver. I bid on a car, online it said that the key was present, so when the delivery again was pushing the 2 week *** I lost my patience and decided to come down and pick it up myself, where after 3 people looked all over the car the key was missing. It was present in all the videos and pictures listed on website. They simply shrugged and said it was stolen and not their problem. They would not refund me the car, they made it a point to tell me how much it wasnt their problem after falsifying the status of the car on their website. I would like a refund for the car for their lack of professionalism and if they refuse, I would like them to make a new key, which costs around $500 and deliver it to *** at no cost. They made me waste weeks waiting for a car that was nothing like the description listed on their site.

IAA I work as the inventory specialist at ***, **** in ***, **

I work as the inventory specialist at ***, *** in ***, . We have purchased cars through IAA for years, never with any issues until this year and now it seems like there are nothing but issues. The vehicle pictures have always imported over without issues until about June or July just by putting the *** number into our system. Now, there are no pictures, but the standard vehicle information imports over still. We thought maybe the issue was on our end, so we bought a new *** system and upgraded, however, that didn't fix the issue. I have been calling since July. There have been multiple case responses opened with nothing being done. IAA was sent the contact verification form to add me to the contact list on December 8th as well as an email regarding the issues we have been having. Once again, IAA never added the information sent, nor have they replied to an email since July 15. I called on June 15th the first time and then again on the dates of November 23, December 4, December 8, December 17, and December 20. For each and every single occasion I have called, I have either been told to send an email to *** in which I did and there was never a response, or I have been hung up. Adding to that, I called trying to figure out information regarding a car that we purchased from IAA in October and while I am physically standing directly Infront of that vehicle and reading the vin from it, the representative proceeds to tell me that we sold the car to IAA, and it has sense been sold to someone names "*** He***on". That couldn't be further from the truth, being that we have never once sold anything to IAA because we're a salvage yard. We don't sell junk cars to auctions; we buy them to sell for parts and because I was literally staring directly at the car. It has been a consistent 6 months of terrible service from IAA that I am ready to start purchasing my cars at other auctions.

IAA The name of the business is Greater ***

The name of the business is Greater ***. There located in ***. I dropped off my 2007 Range Rover to be auctioned off. I have literally paid for a new paint job along with tint windows and a car detail before dropping it off, this car is in great condition looks and runs great! On Aug 8, of this year, after not even getting one bid for two weeks I proceeded to pick up my car two Fridays later I dropped it off. When picking up my vehicle I just hopped in my car drove it home parked it in the garage walked away. After a couple days pass I open the garage to go get new brakes and I see that they have crash my car on the passenger back side! I immediately called and ask them can they review the cameras and can they hold the employee accountable who did this and get this fixed. They told me the manager was not in so I put all my clothes and headed up there to wait on him to get there. Once I arrive to my surprise he was there and the first thing he said is we are not responsible for your car being crashed. I ask him can he review the cameras first before telling me that he is not responsible he told me he is not reviewing anything. Treated with nothing but disrespect, he refused to do anything and then I said OK and walked out of his establishment. He called me later and said that he apologize and that he would get the light fixed that was broken in the crash, and pull out the dents out that was also caused in the crash when it was in their possession. It has been a month and I have called every couple of days and they just keep giving me the runaround. There are no telling how many other customer cars does not sale for the highest price or doesnt sell at all because they caused damage and not tell anyone and not being held accountable in any way. Please help this is all I have left and now I cant even sell it for the most that I could get. I dont have enough money to *** so this is it for me l, please help. In any way please.

IAA Advertised a running vehicle and no accidents

Advertised a running vehicle and no accidents. I wire transferred 2 payments within one day of each other for the total amount. Upon verification from Ridesafetly via Iaai auto auction, I was told I was clear to go pick up my vehicle and sent all documentation. I asked while on the phone with company, is there anything else I need to do Im booking a flight for my friend today to go retrieve the car and DRIVE it back. I asked this several times including email. I was told I was clear and yes car could be driven from location. So I booked a one way flight , paid for Uber 33 minutes, upon arriving at the *** location my friend was laughed at and told she wasnt driving the car anywhere. So stuck in a town in middle of nowhere, no luggage , no vehicle, no place to stay, I had to call back Uber to take her to near by *** her down, but needed supplies, wait until am to figure out why.. missed my 2 nd day of work, went to dmv, went *** as to why this was happening. They stated they did receive 2nd wire which it clearly stated on their website and banks it takes few day but they had already accepted both payments with confirmation numbers and knew it was processing. Still refused to hand over car and now stated she couldnt drive it but had to tow it. So another day another plane ticket back another Uber charge, and then to be threatened by the auction yard as to a limited time frame or else. So another day of work missed figuring out the issue and by this time the wire had cleared as stated time frame. Reminder, vehicle stayed on the lot. It states also on website that you have 4 days courtesy storage then 40$ a day charges begin. That was Wednesday vehicle was paid for on September 28,2022 so storage would start Monday October 2, 2022. During the weekend I talked to 100 different auto transport companies which was a whole other nightmare. Finally landing on a company Sunday , it was another $680 to bring vehicle to my home. This would h

I RECENTLY BOUGHT A VEHICLE WITH THEM GUIDED BY THE PICTURES AND DESIGNATION "RUN AND DRIVE" STOCK *** PAID AND SEND A CARRIER TO PICK IT UP, AS THE CARRIES QUESTIONED ME IF THE CAR WAS DRIVE ABLE I TOLD HIM IT WAS, LATER I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE CARRIER THAT THE CAR HAD MAJOR DAMAGES TO THE DRIVE TRAIN AXLE MAKING IT UNABLE TO MOVE AT ALL BECAUSE THE TIRE WAS COMING OFF ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE DAMAGE, I THEN DECIDED TO CALL THE BRANCH AND I LEFT A MESSAGE TWO DAYS BECAUSE CALLS DIDNT GO THROUGH , NEVER GOT A CALL BACK,THEN I CALL MAIN COMPANY I SENT PICTURES AND GOT A CASE NUMBER [protected] AND WAS ADVISED TO CONTACT THE MANAGER OF THE EAST BAY BRANCH BY EMAIL AND TRY TO SOLVE THE ISSUE AND IF NOTING WORKED TO CALL BACK, MANAGER SAID CAR WAS TESTES AND IT RAN, I BELIEVE IT WAS NEVER TESTED BECAUSE THE CAR WOULDVE NEVER MOVE AN INCH WITH DRIVETRAIN DAMAGE , HE SAID HE COULDNT CONPENSATE ME BECAUSE THE LISTING WAS CLEAR, I BELEIVE THE LISTING IS MISLEADING AND SET AT A DIFFERENT DESIGNATION TO SELL THE CAR FOR A HIGHER PRICE MAKING THE CUSTOMERS BELEIVE THAT WHEN THEY ARE BIDDING THE CAR IS DRIVE ABLE AND RUNING THUS THE COST FOR REPAIR IS LESS THAN A CAR THAT IS NOT RUNNING JUST "STARTS" I CONTACTED THE HEADQUATERS, THEY SAID THEY WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSABILITY BECAUSE THE CAR ENGINE STARTS MAKING IT A DRIVEABLE CAR ,ITS FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND A SCAM TO PLACE A CAR ON A WRONG DESIGNATION TO APPEAL TO BUYERS THAT CAN ONLY SEE THE CARS AND BID ONLY ON A COMPUTER, ITS PHOTOSHOPED PICTURES THAT DONT SHOW THE REAL DAMAGE AND THEN SAY ITS THE POLICY THAT THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISLEADING , I EXPLAINED TO THE REPRESENTATIVE WE TRUST AND GO BY THE PICTURES THAT WE SE, SE REPLIES " YOU DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH INFORMATION WITH JUST PICTURES TO TRUST THE CONDITION OF THE CAR" AND ITS TRUE THATS WHY WE ALSO BASE OUR CRITERIA IN THE DESIGNATIONS THEY PROVIDE " RUN AND DRIVE, STARTS,STATIONARY, MECHANICAL DAMAGE,FLOOD,ETC" ITS MISLEADING AND DECEIVING WHAT THEY DO

IAA In November , I bid on and won a 2018 gmc acadia, stk# ***

In November , I bid on and won a 2018 gmc acadia, stk# ***. It was described as a runs and drives vehicle, with primary front end damage. It posted pictures of the interior as well as the front end of the car, the sides, the back, and the dash and motor. The winning bid was $16,000. I took a check, on November 26th, to IAA in ***, ***, totaling $18,534.56. It included fees and taxes. I had to pay for the car before gaining access to the car. I did so, received the title and key fob, and was instructed where to pick up the car. Upon pickup the car was nothing as described. It didn't run or drive. And the entire roof was caved in. It had 2 busted out sunroofs that were left uncovered so every weather element possible was inside the car. There was ice in the cup holders. I was devastated. We, my husband and myself, went back to the office. There we met with *** and another young lady, both very friendly. They told me that they couldn't give me my check back because the title was already signed over to me and I would have to wait till the title was in my name. They then said they'd keep the car at their lot, not charge me any fees for storage or to rerun it, and they would send it thru the auction again to recoup my money. I spoke with *** the next few weeks. I had the title back within 2 weeks and sent it to the office in ***. I assumed they would use the same photos and description in the new ad that they used in the one I purchased from but *** stated that if they used the original photos they would find themselves in the same situation with the next buyer. I understand that but posting pictures of the roof will keep me from recouping the money that I feel I got screwed out of. The roof damage should have been shown before I bid on it and I can guarantee you that I would not of bid on this car had I known the roof was caved in. However, I was told it's their policy not to take pictures of the roofs of any of the cars, yet

IAA On December 21st my Iaai account was hacked

On December 21st my Iaai account was hacked. There were approximately 12 cars purchased "buy now" all at the same time. I started receiving text messages on my phone and was like what is that. I look and it is all of these messages saying cars had been added to my account. I was in shock and had no idea what was going on, then I was thinking maybe it was a mistake. Before Iaai has put car on my account in error then remove it. I immediately changed my username and password and contacted buyer services. The customer service I received was so horrible with the first representative. 1. We are talking $117K in cars - my heart was racing because of this. I tell the agent my information and she asked who I had given my information to. I replied indicating I hadn't given it to anyone and she said to me"I doubt that, I don't believe it." I said excuse me. She went on to say there was no way someone hacked into my account and that we gave the information to someone. At that point my wife just asked to speak to a supervisor. We were on hold about 25 mins. 2. The "supervisor" at buyers services came on and he said he would deactivate the account, and reach out to the branch managers involved and that he could see they were all purchased at the same time. Told us to reach out too. 3. I have filed a police report and contacted every branch. Sent e-mails and called. Newburg is the only branch who removed everything no problem. Englishtown was suppose to call back, they never did, they removed cars but gave me fees. Bridgeport the guy was very nice said he was contacting regional on how they are supposed to handle but have not heard back. Then *** and *** nothing.4. I just want to get the cars removed and the fees taken off and my account turned back on. I provided a police report and contacted buyers services immediately. Not sure why the communication is so bad and this was $117,000 this is a lot of money. I can't get any response from them at this point

IAA On October 31st, Insurance Auto Actions (IAA) was hacked

On October 31st, Insurance Auto Actions (IAA) was hacked. My account, my information, Auto dealer permit number, Paypal account and identity was compromised along with the information of other buyers. On my case, the hacker, *** from ***, accessed my account, and was able to purchase and pick up 2 vehicles and titles from Insurance Auto Auctions in *** between 5:00 in the morning and 7:00 in the morning. All my information was compromised, he was able to tell dispatchers to have the vehicles and titles ready within a 2 hour window. IAA did not call, text or emailed me any questions in regards as to who *** was or to confirm why I was purchasing from *** at 5:00 in the morning when I reside in ***. If you ask me, in my humble opinion, this was an inside job. I have been buying vehicles from auctions for over 10 years, it is impossible to buy, pay and pick up a vehicle within a 2 hour window. Let alone access all type of information on my account without even asking to confirm the purchases. I have emailed IAA and was told by *** to "file a theft report with local police" when the breach of security happened in *** and on IAA website. It is their responsibility to chase criminal that can access so easily their clients account. I have tried to talk on the phone with IAA but I have been put on holds of over 40 min at a time and then hanged up on. IAA is expecting me to chase a hacker and report a vehicle that I never bought as stolen. My account was inactivated by *** who is demanding I pay for those units, not allowing me to communicate via chat with a representative. Their security failed, my account along many others was hacked, they know this as in one of the emails *** writes "we were notified that unauthorized vehicles were purchased on your account" yet she is refusing to reverse the payment to paypal, and is asking me to report the vehicles as stolen. WTH?!
