Hello, my name is Deann Simmons. On Friday, November 24, 2023 I was broiling a steak in the oven. I opened the door, and the heating element burst into flames. I closed the door, and waited a few seconds then opened the door again. The heating element was still on fire, but the flame seemed to be going out, it was smaller. So I closed the door again and the flame went out. I called to talk to someone this morning. After over 55 minutes, a lady answered, and not only was no help, but hung up on me, or maybe the call got disconnected. The oven is not even paid off yet, and according to my husband this is the second time the broiler heating element burnt. I have an appointment scheduled with a service technician today. I'm hoping this will be covered. I feel that the product was faulty. The meat was not close to the element.
