i got this draft from my checkin account every month for *** and i wanna know how much more i gotta pay on the account they collectin. i been tryna call them a buncha times in the past week or somethin and all i get is a machine. i left messages but they aint get back to me yet.

They took money from me for a credit card that wasn't even theirs! My husband and me got calls from some company trying to collect on a credit card we already paid off to Hood Thompson & Associates in December . We found out the judgement on my husband's credit card was still there even though we paid HT&A $1,939.86 from October 8 to December 30. I checked with Harris County Courts and the original credit card company WAMU/Providian Bank, who sold it to the law firm CACH, LLC that filed the judgement. CACH, LLC sold the CC to CAVC of Colorado who then sold to Diverse Funding Associates (DFA) who were the last owners of the account and did not hire HT&A to collect on this account. DFA was the rightful owner of the credit card and the company that released the judgement with Harris County. HT&A had no rights to the CC and fraudulently collected fees from my personal account. They even threatened to put the card into another judgement. They harassed us and both my husband and I thought we were doing right by paying off the CC... but HT&A kept the money for themselves. Don't trust them!
