Hong Leong Bank — banking related
I would like to share my experiences in your Hong Leong Bank branch which located in Batu 9, Cheras.
I have been to this branch several times to dealing with banking related matters.
Today incident, I went in to the branch at 10:08am with 2 tickets on my hand (1017 & 5006) for 2 different requests.
Queue number 1017 was called by Counter 1 where the lady at Counter 1 is still serving a customer and same time called 2 others Q numbers (I am truly understand about the impact of waiting time). However, I do believe that she is not ready to serve me when she called the number. I was here for the 2nd time to make payment for MSIG Fire Insurance of my house. During my first visit, my request was not done as the same lady named by Ving informed me that my premium was not billed to HL hire purchase account, thus I could not make the payment first. I went there again this morning with the intention to settle this payment, AGAIN I am not able to do so because of I did not bring my Bank Passbook for her to charge directly from saving account (I do not bring sufficient cash with me). She suggested me to withdraw from others bank and immediately I did an instant transfer from HLB to CIMB (instant transfer fees of RM0.53 was charged due to this!). I couldn't withdraw money from branch ATM machine several time (please retrieve the transaction log). So, my 1st request was not done and I need to re-visit.
Now, queue number 5006 was called by Counter 1 lady named by Soo. As usual, no warm greeting from her as a Customer Service Consultant. Same incident happen as above mentioned. I was not attended immediate after the queue number was called. She is still serving a customer to setup an online account. Is this the normal practice at branch to show all kind of confidential related request? I requested to cancel standing instruction during my last visit about 2-3 weeks ago. No return calls as promised by Soo after I filled up the termination form of this request. Upon my visit this morning, I requested her to check if my standing instruction to HLA has been cancelled. Without any proof of documents given to me instead just verbally informs me that cancelation has been made. I totally upset with the service provided by a lady named by Soo who are sitting at Counter 3.
Customer service is not just a department it’s an attitude. Saying this, I will visit the branch again somewhere next week. Hope to see changes in Customer Service Resp.
