Honest-1 Auto Care

Honest-1 Car Care doesn't live up to their name. They wanted to charge me 3x the price the dealership charged. This auto care company is anything but honest! I went to their place on South Ridgewood Ave. in South Daytona, FL on Friday August 21 to see if they could put an under shield on my Kia Forte. After waiting, the clerk told me that the KIA dealership didn't have the part, so it would be Tuesday before they could put it on. I wasn't happy about waiting 3 days. I asked for a written estimate and asked if he could keep the broken one so I could still drive my car. He said he would try and offered to give me a ride home and call me when he knew. The written estimate said the under shield would cost $234 for a total of $362.36! I was at home for about 2 hours and called to check on the progress. He said he couldn't do it and that he would come pick me up to get my car. I wasted the whole afternoon and he didn't do anything. He was rude and condescending the whole time. Women definitely aren't welcome there. I'm glad they didn't work on it because after I got my car, I called KIA to see what their price would've been, and they actually had the under shield in stock! So, Honest-1 didn't even call! The installation cost at Kia was under $130 - $250 LESS THAN Honest-1 Car Care! When I left Honest-1, I told them I wouldn't be back because of their bad customer service. I'm glad I did or I wouldn't have known they were going to overcharge me so much! If you can believe this, the same clerk called me the next morning and said he could fix it by Wednesday now! They are idiots at that Honest-1, and I'm warning you to never go to this nationwide company. I'm so glad I asked for the written estimate, which he wasn't going to give me at all! I think "Honest-1 should pay the amount they wanted to charge me, $362.36, so they would think twice before ripping off innocent customers, but I can't, so take this as a warning!
