Hive Outdoor Living was a lifesaver for us. We can't even explain how grateful we are for them. We had a pool contractor who took 70% of the money but only did 30% of the work and then left us in a bad financial situation. We checked out a few contractors to see what could be done with our pool. Ben Kelver from Hive Outdoor Living came to our house and talked with us about everything. We waited a few months to see if the original contractor would finish the job, but he didn't. We called Ben and he was really understanding and wanted to help us. We were worried about trusting another contractor, but Ben was great. He said he would finish the pool in 60 days and he did it even faster. He saved us money on the screen enclosure, pool heater, pump, and automation system. He answered all our questions and still does. We love our pool. Hive Outdoor Living did an amazing job. We recommend them to anyone who wants a pool. Thank you Hive for saving us and being honest.

We paid for our pool deposit on August 28, but the permit didn't get approved until mid-November. The work didn't start until late December, and we don't think they filed a NOC until months later. They told us on December 7th that the coping would be delayed by 12 weeks, which should have been communicated earlier. We asked for a gantt chart multiple times, but they refused to give it to us as per their contract. Hive says we knew about the 12-week tile delay, but we have an email from them saying it would only be 6-7 weeks. They also sent us the wrong tile samples, and the tiles they installed are defective. The owner blamed us for everything in an email. After we hired a lawyer, he said we had to pay for all the underground issues that Hive messed up, but their contract says we need to approve an estimate first. Now our pool is full of contaminated water.

I used Hive Outdoor Living, LLC for a new pool install and the work was just not good. The pavers were not installed right, we have grass everywhere because they didn't de-grass, the cutting was bad, and they said they would come back and fix it but nothing has been done yet. The pool interior is not good and they said we wouldn't see it but we do. They installed our pool equipment, took our last payment, and had "pool school" with me but the equipment hasn't worked in 4 weeks. My pool is green because the system hasn't been making chlorine for almost 2 weeks and when we called Hive they told us to call the manufacturer which is not local and hold times were 107 minutes every time I called. I paid a lot for my pool and I am upset that they took my last payment and then didn't help me. My pool is gross and I can't enjoy it with my family. This company doesn't care about their customers once they get paid.
