I booked a flight for one of the Company staff on behalf of my company I work for on the 1st of October via Airlink Airlines and mistakenly entered the wrong name of the person. The online booking does not allow for name changes, so I called the airline and they also told me that I will have to cancel the flight and re-book, also adding that I will have to pay a percentage for cancelling which is the same as cancelling your flight and re-booking for another date and mentioned that it could take up to 4 weeks. besides that fact I immediately called the airline which they could have changed on my behalf. it was my first time booking via this Airline and I am rather disappointed as it puts me in an awkward situation with my boss as they had to pay to re-book another flight for the staff. I have sent out various emails, and the response is that it could take up to 4 months. you cannot speak to an agent regarding the cancellation as the say that all cancellations are done via email.
