Hayfield windows were put in my new townhouse in March
Hayfield windows were put in my new townhouse in March . There's been problems since they were put in. One window is bent and doesn't seal. Some windows have the strip on the outside holding the glass falling off and loose. The window supplier was contacted in October and they've been trying to fix the problems. A Hayfield rep was finally here in April 2022 and admitted the problems and said they'd order parts and come back to fix it. We haven't heard from him since and the window supplier says they haven't been able to get a response from the rep.
I got 7 Hayfield windows put in this year
I got 7 Hayfield windows put in this year. The contractor got them from Forest Specialties, and the Job# on the windows is 701 FF 9/2 and the order# is ***. The quality control on these windows was really bad. Out of these 7 windows, 3 were the sliding type and every one of these had at least one stripped latch screw. I noticed one latch was loose so I grabbed a screwdriver and tried to tighten it. The screw just kept turning easily. It's obvious the person who put them together used a power tool and didn't know when to stop. The distributor never followed up so I bought a new bag of slightly bigger screws. Out of 8 total screens, 6 were too small or the screen was stretched too tight. They sent replacements that didn't fix the problem. Again, this is obvious stuff. Several casement window lock levers make grinding noises when you use them. I left messages with 2 people at Hayfield and neither called me back.

Hayfield Windows was supposed to come to my house on 7/6/2022 between 1:30-2:00PM to put in new window sashes for my new house that was finished in February 2022. Two Hayfield workers came on 7/6/2022 with 2 window screens, but those screens were already installed by my builder. The two Hayfield workers weren't ready to install the sashes on that day. They gave me a phone number and the name of *** at Hayfield Windows to call and reschedule the sash installation appointment. I called *** at Hayfield Windows on four different occasions and left a voicemail with my name, address, and phone number. The first call and voicemail I left for *** at Hayfield was on 7/6/2022 at 1:55PM. The second call and voicemail I left for *** at Hayfield was on 8/2/2022 at 9:03AM. The third call and voicemail I left for *** at Hayfield was on August 17, 2022 at 12:41PM. The fourth call and voicemail I left for *** at Hayfield was on 9/1/2022 at 3:43PM. *** from Hayfield Windows never called me back, and *** still hasn't scheduled the replacement of my window sashes. The voicemail clearly stated ***'s name.

I ordered 22 windows from Hayfield Window and a manufacturer on 7/26 through Spring Lake Park Lumber. The expected delivery date was 11/11, according to the invoice. I started asking for an update on my order in late October through my distributor. They reached out to their Hayfield rep, but couldn't get any information. I waited a couple of weeks, but when the expected delivery date passed and they still couldn't give me any info, I started calling Hayfield directly. It took a few days to reach someone. When I finally did, I spoke to a person named at the company. They were nice, but couldn't see what the hold up was with my order. They said they would look into it and get back to me. I waited about a week, but they didn't get back to me. I called again, left messages, but heard nothing. I tried again, same story. Eventually, I spoke with the same person at least twice and another employee twice as well. I left unreturned voicemails at least five times, and still haven't received any information about my order. The person I spoke with did mention that they don't have any material shortages, so that's not the problem. I finally asked why they couldn't give me any answers, since they work at the manufacturing facility and should have access to someone who knows what's going on. They agreed and promised to speak to someone and get back to me, but never did. Then, out of nowhere, about a week ago, my order arrived without any shipping notice or update, but two of the 22 windows were missing. So I called them again and started the cycle all over. First, I got the same person again, who sent me to someone's voicemail. I left a message, but heard nothing. I called back, sent to voicemail again. I hung up, called back again, and insisted on speaking to someone. I got the other employee again, but they were evasive once more.
