This weekend 5/06/26-08/06/26 myself and my family stayed in a Silver caravan. We had to deal with an any infestation the whole time to the extent of bites, in food and drink and even one entering my ear in the night and one in my partners eye causing irritation. We could not eat in our caravan or relax there due to the severity of the issue. As described in the welcome book this was expected and what we could do to minimize the problem e.g. cleanliness. After speaking to several others who stayed elsewhere in the park, this was not a consistent problem, no one else experienced this. It ruined our holiday, we will not be returning and both children said it affected their enjoyment. This is heartbreaking after working hard to take 2 children on a holiday.
Haven did nothing to resolve/prevent the issue. No ant deter ant whatsoever. I would like a full refund for this holiday or I will be taking this further.
It was stated that this was to be "expected in hotter months", it rained the majority of the weekend and is not acceptable regardless of the time of year or the temperature.
