Hargrave and Associates might be out of business but BFS Credit Services is not. This company is still operated by Kevin Hargrave or better yet...his wife.

Check out the following links.

The office is right down the street from the old office. Is this a scam or what. Hope this helps

I signed up with Hargrave and Associates in June of this year and was suppose to stay in the program for 6 months for the amt of 250.00. At the end of my 6 months I was to have my negative info removed off my credit and they were going to send me my credit scores showing the outcome. I have been trying to contact this company now for the past month. At first it would just hang up on me and now, the number is no longer in service. I thought that the company was legal seeing that they sent me a contract and everything which I made copies of which they have broken! I am at least wanting them to refund me half of my money back. My credit is still the same and none of what they said happened.

Hargrave and associates is nothing but a rip off and I want my money back and more. I never received the information as promised but they was so easy to take my money, now I can't even get in contact with the office and I am very disappointed. If I can file a complaint to get my money back I will be more than happy to do that, or I would like to get all my personal information back.

Do not give these people your money. They have stolen $349.00 from me and now they are out of business. I believe they are now called BFS.

Hey Mr. Hargrave, how is your brother LATRESE's life in Amelia National Golf and Country Club treating you these days? Nice pool out back next to the T box and small pond, I know, I saw it personally. Can you believe the amount of fish that are in that little pond, just drop a hook and they nearly jump on it. 95079 STARLING COURT, FERNANDINA BEACH 32034

How is that Lamborghini Murcielago and Bentley doing? Must be nice to STEAL MONEY from so many people to live such a lifestyle.

Did he finally get around to paying your property tax last year?

You both are real pieces of work, I hope you BOTH choke on a pork chop!

I saw a sign on the side of the road and called the number. After I called them I called an attorney that told me that the only way
to erase bad credit is bankruptcy. Little did I know that me giving these people my cell phone number was a huge mistake. There has been an onslaught of calls and texts. I've called these people and ask them to please take me off their call list and was told that they would four times. That's been six months and I still get a slew of calls and texts. If anyone knows how to make the calls stop please respond.

I just called Kevin Hargrave and he told me that the business was going through some governmental restructuring. The fact that the company could not get a payment up front, but they should have made it an enrollment fee. He told me that they did nothing wrong, they just did not handle the fee properly. I called the [protected] and he asked me where did II get the number from and I told him it was on someone's comment page. He told me that he posted it on the web site and anyone had access to it. I too spent money for them to get my credit right.

They are still trying to scam people, a commercial aired on TVONE this afternoon and I entered the website: www.helpmycreditnow.com. Phone: 877.250.5230. I went to the website and eventually found these complaints first. I hope this information helps or just watch TVOne, I've seen the commercial run a few times.

I agree with everything that has been said here, i signed up with this company back in June of 2008, not really sure about the month it has been so long, I contacted them before they closed down six months after to be exact because I was not seing any results, i myself was doing more to restore my credit than they had done. I called then and they were still in business, they said they were still working on it and that I needed to send them copies of my credit report which I did, that was the last thing I heard from them, I tried going on the website and I would get redirected to another bogus website. Today I tried doing some research to follow up and I found this, WOW is right we should all do something about this, this is redicilous. I thought it would be safe to invest my money because they were a law firm and they were even advertising on the local radio stations. What a scam! Thanks for the information. I would need to do some research and find out what can be done about this. We should start a class action law suit against them!

That goes to show you what type of gold digger his wife is. She's not all innocent and naive, she has
always been a golddigging slut. Kevin really played on her intelligence what little it is for his benefit.
But, that is the price you pay for being so money hungry. Latrese you need to divorce this fool he has
already damaged your reputaion next you are going to be doing jail time for this fool just keep listening
to him.

Hello Everyone,

I was also scammed by Hargrave the took my $500 from me because I signed up for the fake credit card. Those ### only removed two out of 11 negative accounts. They even removed a car I had paid off and that was a positive tradeline. I contacted the credit bureaus and they once it has been removed, they can't put it back. I did go to a credit consulting agency and they are much better than a regular credit repair company. They actually gave me a run down of my credit report and even informed me on how to etablish credit. My scores have increase drastically and I have only been enrolled for 2 months. On top of that, they are only charge $179.99. A one time charge! I'm really impressed and glad I did not give up after being scammed by horrible Hargrave. If you guys want to see my results just email me at spoiledvirgo@live.com. The place is called AMB Credit Consultants and their website is www.AMBcredit.com (972) 375.2950 -Alexa

I was going to let them help fi X my credit. THANK GOD I DIDNT. I HATE THAT PEOPLE ARE JUST NOT HONEST ANYMORE. I THINK THE BEST THING THAT WE CAN DO IS REMEMBER THAT WE WAS ALL BORN OWING SO WE WILL DIE OWING. WE CAN STILL GET ### WE JUST HAVE TO PAY MORE! BUT SERIOUSLY I THINK THE BEST THING WE CAN DO IS TALK TO FINANCIAL ADVISORS TO GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING ON HOW TO FIX OUR CREDIT. THE SAME THING THAT THE COMPANIES OFFER TO DO WE CAN DO OURSELVES ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE IT JUST TAKES ALOT OF TIME.

I was taken advantage of by them also and now I'm just finding out that they are now doing business as BFS Credit or soemthing. They are horrible people...I was in such a bad credit situation and didn't have anywhere to turn. I was told by a friend about Credit Source Solutions and they have helped me! I told them about my Hargrave and Associates situation and they did my service for a fraction of the original cost! That was 8 months ago and to date none of the items have reappeared on my credit...www.creditsourcesolutions.com

Talk about being PISSED off! I signed up with Hargrave and Associates on April 29, 2008. They claimed that they would be able to remove the negative info from my credit reports w/the 3 major bureaus. But I never got anything in the mail from the bureaus. I constantly called to find out what was going on and continued to get the run around (including frequent hang-ups in my face, promises that the manager would call back within 72hrs, and a whole bunch of other crap). I paid them $270. And they did nothing. So I tried to call them again sometime in September only to find out they their phones were turned off. I tried the website and it was no longer available. I was angry! So today on my way to work a commercial comes on for credit repair and the company name was BFS Credit Solutions. The website they gave was www.helpmycreditnow.com, which sounded familiar. then i realized that was hargraves website. I immeditately googled it only to find they they are the same freaking people. WTF! they are even listed at the same address in FL on Dunn St. I hope that a class action lawsuit gets filed against them because I will definitely be in line for money back. i contacted the Florida but they didn't help they sent a letter saying that the company would not cooperate and that they couldn't help me any further. HARGRAVE AND BFS CREDIT SOLUTIONS ARE TOTAL RIPOFFS, SCAMMERS, LOSERS. SCUMBUCKETS AND EVERYTHING ELSE THAT FITS IN THE CATEGORY!

I signed up with them also in Feb. 2008. At first I saw results but as time begin to go on I never heard anything from them. I called them about two months later and asked how come I haven't heard anything from them. I was told that it is my job to contact them and foward my results from the credit bereau. I asked after this is complete what was the next step. I waas told that after the investigations are complete (six months) then they would foward my file to another part of the agency that would help me to get finaced. Called them back in September no answer. I called them back for about a month. Never heard from them.

i signed up with hargrave and associates in july of 2008 and paid $300.00 for them to help repair my credit. It only really cost me $250.00 for them to repair my credit but i signed up for the credit card too thinking it was the right thing for me but unfortunatley it was not. It took them about 3 months for me to recieve my credit card and every time i would call they will tell me that it has already been sent out to me but it really didn't. I reallly got frustrated and kept calling. Hargrave and associates let me signed a contract stating that they will be helping me get my credit back straight in at least 6 months and that did not go through faithfully. I know everybody makes mistakes but all i ask is they refund me my 250.00 back asap. everything taht was on my credit when i started is still now on there nothing was improved.

this is kevin hargrave and i did speak with ms longino and alot of what you see is true i cannot promise perfect credit and yes the new company has to charge a monthly which she or any other hargrave client is not required to pay but if i choose to stay in this business of helping customers thats what i have to do by law... hargrave was closed down for how we took the money charging $250 upfront is what we got in trouble for i think that is a shame i am continuing to help hargrave customers you can contact me at [protected] anytime and i will talk to you please do not call me just to be direspectful and demeaning i am trying to help if you dont want my help contact the FTC they closed us down and have no intents or ability to refund the customers so i am doing everything i can to provide the great services we provided in the past i dont know where ms longino is saying her credit score went up from because we actually showed less than what she thought we try to help clean up some of the questionable items on your credit you still have to build your credit I am here to help if you let me!

I just got off the phone with Kevin Hargrave, whom by the way is a very obnoxious and rude person to begin with and does not maintain a professional demeanor at all. Who then claimed that he had made my score increase by 100 points since I began the program, but unfortunately that's untrue, I am not a fool and have been tracking it long before Hargrave and Associates came along. He also now claims that there is no guarantee and no promises and that he cannot make my credit perfect, and that it is wrong for people to even think that's possible. Too bad tho, I do remember the ad and gimmick being that "Hargrave & Associates can help you repair your damaged credit in the next four to six months, guaranteed!" or "WILL THE $250 PAY EVERYTHING FOR ALL 3 CREDIT BUREAUS? Yes. We, at Hargrave & Associates Financial Solutions, Inc. will work to get your beacon score over 620 and 80% of the negative items removed for only $250; no other hidden charges or fees." He then proceeded by insulting me and calling me names, as if to point the finger at me...rather than maintain the focus on the bs he's been claiming and now denies. This guy is a joke and this is definitely a rip-off, if isn't a complete scam altogether. What's worse is that he is definitely running BFS Credit Services now, and now there's a monthly fee, instead of a flat fee. I know this for sure because I asked him to call me direct, and BFS CREDIT SERV popped up on my caller-ID. By the way Mr. Hargrave can be reached at [protected]. But, I am calling the FTC and my lawyer for guidance on this one, you should too.

I agree with everyone that feels they had been scammed.. I to earlier this year signed up with Hargrave and ### right after i received my
stimulus check, I figured since it was some unsuspected money that i would do something positive with the money. I actually heard Russ Parr from
radio money saying, "come on people lets do something positive with your money instead of buying your kids jordans.. The radio show as well as others sang Hargraves praises.. At first i was ify about it but the sales rep was so positive and actully let me break up my $280 dollar payment in 2 installments I recieved plentyof correspondence the first i would say 2months my equifax report came back with 12items removed from it but
afterwards things went dowmn hill my other 2 never came and when i called in to get an update it seemed like i got the same as old black lady that
was so rude and continued to tell me to keep calling back. Around labor day the phones had a due to hi call volume ### prompt i from there
felt something wasnt right.. now like the others the phones kept disconnected i even called my cell phone provider thinking it was a problem with my phone. There is a new number ([protected]) that is now no good it think they felt us catching on.

I thnk we should bombard these radio stations that were promoting them and ask them "what now" that would be (www.radio-one.com)
Dont get me wrong they did like $75 worth of work but a deal is deal .
I should of just brought my 7 and 9yr old girls fur coats instead but oh well you live and you learn all I can say is research-research-research

@ Likenoother

Ik went to their website www.bfscredit.com, the name that you said Hargrave is now business under. Well you are right, I looked at their contract and this is what they put at the end (copy).

FLORIDA DISCLOSURES: Pursuant to Florida law, HARGRAVE is required to provide the following information
BFS credit services Principal Business Address s:
BFS Credit Services
1038-5 Dunn Ave #136
Jacksonville, Fl 32218
The terms and conditions of payment, amount of each payment, and total payment are disclosed in the Contract Agreement.

As you can see they forgot to remove HARGRAVE out of there. Maybe this is a way to do something about this company as well, since they seem to be the company that was charged by the FTC.

I spoke with Kevin Hargrave after calling the number that he listed in one of his posts. I spoke with him and was able to resolve the questions that I had in reference to my credit. I was pleasantly suprised to find out that the number that I called was his personal cell number. I feel that if Mr. Hargrave was as dishonest as many people- (and I have admit that I thought the same when I could not make contact with his company and finding out that it had shut down) are making him out to be- he would not have posted his personal number. Needless to say- he is making himself an easy target for all of the negative feedback he is bound to receive. I am sure he thought about this before listing his personal number -but righting any misunderstandings was far more important to him. Mr. Hargrave should be given a chance to rectify the things that have gone wrong and he cannot do it without our cooperation.

Me and my father both signed up with Hargrave and Asso. I was also told that we would be in the program for 4-6 months. We paid $280.00 each and signed up in Sept. 2008. We were told that we would hear from them in a few weeks and it never happened. I tried to contact the company at the same number that I used to make the initial contact and kept getting a busy signal. I am furious and want my money back. I feel really bad because my father also lost his money-and I was the one to encourage him to sign up.

Kevin, please stop humiliating yourself, with your responses. It is so upsetting. You sound like a sick puppy. You nor your company had this much affection towards your clients while in the process of signing up for your service. I really hate that I gave your company my $250 thinking that I would begin living such a wonderful life. Did you or your scamming wife Latrese ever come to think how your negatively affecting peoples lives. I have three kids and I'm a single mother at that. That $250 is alot of money to people like myself. I have received my legal documents in the mail and I plan to sue you for everthing that it's worth. I also strongly encourge everyone else to sue. If you need any info on how to get started, go to the FTC website. Latrese & Kevin, do you two really think your new company will prosper BFS. I will do everything in my power to make sure everyone out there know about you scammers! Now pull that out of your Bible and blog it!
