Fabulous website. Their Halloween and Christmas items are sure to thrill and their return policy is most excellent. I have been ordering from them for years and have never been disappointed.

From seasonal decorations to furniture to art Grandin Road is the place to go. My Halloween display got 100% spookier and my Christmas 100% jollier. The quality is superb and the choices are so different than what is offered on other websites. As such in life you only get what you pay for. This is my "go to" website and much of my house has been inspired and decorated through the website. I want to keep it my "secret" but it is too lovely not to share!

I recently placed an order on Grandin Road and chose a small dresser with three drawers. My package arrived in about a week and was packed very securely, so I was impressed with the initial presentation. The only issue was that the bottom drawer wasn't properly assembled, resulting in the face of the drawer partially coming off, along with the side of the drawer. The design is such that you can't fully remove the drawer to fix it, and this left me with a bit of uncertainty. Fortunately, I was able to use duct tape to secure it temporarily, but it's not a permanent solution.

Another problem I noticed is that the color of the dresser was quite different from what was displayed online. However, I actually ended up being glad that it didn't match the picture, as it complemented my room decor very well. So, overall, I like the appearance of this item.

It is a heavy furniture piece, and returning it would be quite challenging, especially considering the hefty shipping fee that I would have to take care of. When I emailed customer service to resolve my issues, they didn't get back to me right away. Eventually, I called them and had to spend about 40 minutes going back and forth before finally getting a 10% return plus shipping costs, which was over $80.

Although I would have preferred a larger refund, I read through other reviews and figured I should at least accept the offer. Customer service was generally helpful, but what disappointed me was the poor quality of the workmanship on this piece. Based on my experience, I wouldn't consider purchasing anything else from Grandin Road again.

I decided to wait a few days to see if the extra charge would be resolved. When I checked my statement again, both charges were mysteriously gone. Curious, I reached out to Grandin Road to understand what had happened to my order. To my dismay, I was informed that someone had canceled my order. Worse yet, they had no more of the wreaths in stock.

I was deeply disappointed with Grandin Road's handling of my order. Their billing system had been flawed, and someone had canceled my purchase without explanation. I felt cheated and had no idea what to do with my $100 gift card for a store I no longer wanted to support. This was my first purchase with Grandin Road, and it would be my last.

Their estimated wait time is six months to a year, and they have been blaming Covid for this issue. While I understand the pandemic has created challenges for many businesses, it is simply unacceptable to lie to customers and blame external factors for problems that can be addressed through proper planning and management.

What's more, Grandin Road doesn't even have their own stock in their warehouse. Instead, all their products are drop-shipped from Indonesia. This lack of inventory control and transparency creates major headaches for online shoppers looking for accurate stock information and delivery timelines.

Despite Grandin Road's apparent 4.5-star rating in other outlets, I have reason to believe that these ratings are not accurate and may have been artificially inflated by the company itself. In reality, I would warn against purchasing anything from this store, unless you don't care about wait times or quality.

In conclusion, if you're looking to buy furniture that will last and be delivered in a reasonable timeframe, I would suggest looking elsewhere. While I was not charged for my purchase, the wait times and poor customer service have turned me off of this retailer altogether.

In the end, I canceled the order, but Grandin Road really did not care at all, and their response was to dismissively say, "Have a nice day."

It's incredibly disappointing and frustrating to deal with a company that shows no regard for their customers. I can't imagine ordering from them again after this terrible experience.

I had a really bad experience with Grandin Road. I made the mistake of only reading reviews for the product I wanted to buy and didn't do more research on the company itself. I was excited to get my wall decor, and even managed to snag it on sale because it was a bit pricey. But when I received it, I saw a warning sign on it about containing toxic chemicals that could cause cancer and birth defects. What? How was this not disclosed in the description or in any warnings?

Grandinroad, let me tell you, this company has lost my business! I used to love flipping through their catalog, looking for items that I could snag when they go on sale. But my most recent experience with them has made me reconsider my loyalty to them.

So here's the tea: I purchased a dining room table from them a month ago, got a great deal on it too. But when it was being delivered, the delivery guy and I both noticed that the box was way too huge to be a table. Turns out, what was inside was a massive cabinet! I refused to accept it, so I called up customer service. The rep was nice enough to place a new order for me, but they didn't offer any details about what was going to happen next. I had to ask ALL the questions, which was a little annoying, but whatever.

Fast forward two weeks, and I checked the delivery company's website, only to find out that the item they sent out for replacement weighed a whopping 383 lbs. That's way off from the 150 lb table that I ordered. I'm pretty sure they sent me the wrong item again! On top of that, not only have I had to take days off from work just to wait for delivery, but they've charged me for the table even though I don't have it in my possession. Customer service is a total joke and doesn't seem to know what they're doing.

At this point, I've emailed them to have them investigate the current shipment to see if they did indeed send the wrong item AGAIN. I'm not wasting any more of my precious time with this company. And to add salt to the wound, I'm no longer doing business with any of their other companies either - Ballard Designs, Zulily, Frontgate, to name a few.

To sum up, if you're reading this and you're considering doing business with Grandinroad, I'd advise you to steer clear. They clearly don't know what they're doing and they're completely unprofessional. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

So, I was in need of a tiny ottoman and I searched it up on Google. Lucky me, I saw one that I liked that was being promoted by Grandin Road. Without wasting any time, I purchased it and that's when the sneaky upselling came in. They offered me matching pillows to go with the ottoman. I gave in and paid $60 for the cushion.

After a few days, the pillow arrived but the ottoman hadn't. I waited, thinking that it might be separately shipped. Then I finally looked at my email and saw that I wouldn't receive the ottoman for another four months! Uh, what a bummer!

I went back to the product listing page and I saw that it did mention about the shipping date, but only in small letters. It wasn't explicitly highlighted and I did not even pay attention to the "ship by" date. Who would have thought that someone would sell a product on Google that was out of stock?

Now I'm stuck with a pillow that I did not intend to buy in the first place. Yeah, I could return it, but I'm too lazy to contact customer service and the return itself would cost me $8, which is not worth it in my opinion. I'm just going to take the loss and move on.

I've decided to cancel my order for the ottoman and find another online store that can actually deliver the item on time. It's unacceptable to advertise products that are not in stock and won't be for months. The least the store could do is clearly mention that the product is backordered.

So, I saw that Sandra A made a review about Grandin Road, and I gotta say, her experience was pretty similar to mine. I ordered something on May 11, 2020, and got an email saying it might take a while to get my order. They didn't say when it would come exactly though. I sent them two emails asking for more info about it, but they didn't even bother to respond back.

Eventually, on May 13, 2020, I finally got through to customer service. They said that my item would be shipped soon, but it never was. On May 17, 2020, I got a text saying that it would ship out the next day and that I would get an email notification telling me it shipped. But, I didn't receive any email and the item never left the warehouse.

I called customer service three more times. Brandy told me on May 19, 2020, that they would ship it that day, but they didn't. Kim said it would be shipped out on May 20, 2020, but it still didn't get sent. All the customer service reps didn't do anything except to read what was on their computer screens and didn't try to contact anyone to find out what was the holdup. I know that they may have been told to say this to people who contacted them, but still, it isn't good customer service.

Now, if you're like me, you don't want to deal with companies that have bad customer service. I have bought things from lots of other places during this pandemic, and they could all give me a good estimate on how long it would take to get my order. Grandin Road didn't do that, and I won't order from them again. I would suggest you look somewhere else, so you don't have to experience what I did.

Watch out for the sneaky tactics of GRANDIN ROAD! They may seem like a reputable company, but my recent experiences with them have been nothing but frustrating. Let me make it clear – GRANDIN ROAD sells overpriced items that are not worth the money. Their so-called "guidelines" are nothing but an excuse to suppress negative reviews and maintain their false reputation. The company is clearly greedy, and their management board is full of penny-pinching people who fail to see the value of offering reasonable prices to their customers. If they continue to follow this path, they will continue to receive poor reviews from customers like me who value honesty and transparency.

To add to the disappointment, the company's free shipping policy is misleading. If you're lucky enough to find something on sale, beware that the free shipping offer may not apply. As soon as you enter the code, the price automatically goes back to the regular price – a clear indication of how deceptive their tactics are.

But don't despair, there are other places to shop for Halloween and holiday items! I highly recommend Target's Hyde N Eek Boutique, which has an amazing selection of products that will leave you in awe. You'll also find many items available at Amazon, where you can get free shipping on most products (unless it's sold by GRANDIN ROAD, of course). The truth is, there's very little that GRANDIN ROAD sells that cannot be found elsewhere – without the hassle of dealing with their dishonesty.

To illustrate my point, I've included a picture of the $99 item I attempted to review. It's a small and hollow item that is not worth the cost – but GRANDIN ROAD doesn't want you to know that. Don't fall for their tricks! Shop wisely and choose companies that value their customers' trust and loyalty.

I recently gave Grandin Road a shot, buying two barrel chairs from them. The chairs arrived in a jiffy and we enjoyed unboxing them, no problems there. However, one of the chairs came with some damage, which is where the trouble started. When I got in touch with customer service and sent them pictures, they gave me two options: keep the damaged chair for a credit of $79 or go through the hassle of replacing it. Since the damage was impossible to miss and right on the front, I decided to go for the replacement. We liked the undamaged chair and the other one was the same but in a different color, so I clearly told them I wanted an exchange instead and included a note in the box.

But guess what? A credit notice from PayPal popped up instead--and it was short by around $49. Grandinroad had not even sent me an email telling me this was going to happen. So I turned back to customer service and let them know that 1) they didn't credit me correctly and 2) had undercharged me for taxes in the credit. And I also thought it unfair that I had to spend on shipping costs for a product that came to me damaged. Did they listen? Nope. Instead, I now have a credit of $11.40 which PayPal informed me about. And Grandinroad? Nothing from them. I'm particularly confused what the 7% tax charge is for--Ohio and Florida taxes are both below that percentage, and Grandinroad is not supposed to have a physical presence in Florida anyway. I have a sneaky feeling this will carry on for a while.

I'll just say this: Amazon and Grandinroad are as different as day and night when it comes to customer service. It's like Grandinroad has gone back in time to a generation that valued the customer experience. So don't go thinking that the fancy veneer and upscale appearance of Grandin Road means that their operations are a testament to efficiency. If you're thinking of going to Ballard Designs, Chasing Fireflies, Frontgate, Garnet Hill, Improvements, or TravelSmith, keep this experience in mind--I sure will.

Dayum, Grandin Road, what's up with all these negative reviews? I was thinking about dropping some serious cash on your website for both indoor and outdoor decor, but now I'm having second thoughts. I saw one of your ads on TV or maybe even on social media and was impressed with what I saw. But then I stumbled upon these reviews and yikes, not looking good for you guys.

I recently placed an order on grandinroad.com for a coffee table that I was told would arrive by Xmas, but here we are six weeks later and the item hasn't even been shipped yet. I've reached out to the company several times through email, live chat, and phone calls, even demanding to speak to a supervisor, but I haven't received any helpful information. All they keep telling me is that "it's being moved to a different warehouse and will be shipped from there." Well, that's all well and good, but why can't anyone give me an approximate ship date?

The communication with this company is absolutely atrocious, and I have to say that I'm extremely disappointed with the entire process. After all the time, energy, and frustration I've spent trying to get an update on my order, Grandin Road has given me a measly $50 credit towards my $500 purchase. That doesn't even come close to making up for the trouble they've caused me!

But once again, the item never arrived and I received an email stating that I had returned it - again. I was fed up and called once more to cancel my order since it appeared that I would never receive what I had paid for.

This was unacceptable and after having to make yet another phone call to Grandin Road, the issue was finally resolved. It seemed like the company was not organized enough to handle my order properly, and this caused me a great deal of frustration. To make matters worse, I then received an email telling me that I had received another gift card for the lesser amount. When I called to ask about this, I was informed that the gift card was invalid. It was all just too much for me to handle.

Overall, my experience with Grandin Road was extremely frustrating and I don't think I'll be ordering from them again anytime soon. Their lack of organization left me feeling hopeless and out of my money. If they want to keep satisfied customers, they need to get their act together and improve their customer service.

I ordered a set of four stools from Grandin Road, but when the package arrived, I was disappointed to find that the colors were all mixed up. One stool was oak and tan, another was black and grey, and so on. None of them were the white and flint colors that I had ordered. I was frustrated, so I called Grandin Road’s customer service line to exchange the stools for the correct ones.

They picked up the incorrect stools the very next day, but it’s been three weeks now and I still haven’t received the proper ones. I called customer service again to inquire about the delay, and they explained that the correct stools were in two different warehouses and that they needed to wait for the incorrect ones to arrive before they could send me what I had actually ordered.

I’m not sure why this is the case, but apparently it has something to do with me having paid through PayPal. It’s frustrating to feel like I’m waiting and waiting without any resolution in sight. I wish I had chosen a different payment method, or that Grandin Road had been more transparent about the process from the start.
