I reserved a tee time for a course in New Mexico (Scott Park Links) where I was traveling to. When I arrived, the course said that while my reservation was there, they had to charge me for green fees again because Golf Now wasn't paying them. In order to golf, I paid the green fees for a second time and the course assured me that Golf Now would not charge me. Turns out that I was doubled charged; $46 by Golf Now and $52 by the course. Golf Now also charged me 2 convenience fees of $3 each. This is by no means large $$, but it pisses me off. Scott Park Links wouldn't refund my $$ when I asked so I disputed the golf Now charge on my credit card in the "services not delivered" category. Golf Now responded to the dispute saying that I was committing "friendly fraud" because I had paid them and I received the golf. Citibank accepted the Golf Now version. I then called Scott Park Links back and they said that they've received several complaints of double billing. I believe it's up to those two companies to get their business relationship worked out and I'm pissed that as a customer, I'm in the middle. I think Golf Now should take some responsibility for double billing and correct the situation with their partners.
Claimed loss: $46
Desired outcome: Refund of the $46 paid to Golf Now Reservations.
