Go-Rise review: Scam 17

Hi Team,

This is kumarasan here I have paid 26k as fees for process the immigration to Canada. After that i have heard bad review. Hence I have cancelled it on December. As they said they will refund the money in April but till now I have not received my money.. My number [protected]

This company are a complete farce; the biggest most cunning con artists you may ever come across; suffice to say I had much the same carry on as the rest of the people on here - They called me saying they were from Google & my annual fee was due '£89 ' - after a long conversation I gave my card detail only to find the next day £159-99 taken off my card & some ridiculous "invoice" in the post with no contact details whatsoever, no email/ phone numbers / website - nothing! I called my bank the same day & had the card payment reversed, with weeks Go-rise contested it & had THE MONEY BACK from me - I then raised the stakes & contacted Visa showing them proof why it was fraud, ie; links to this web page & the Facebook page set up showing them as fraudsters - The bank saw in our favour & gave us the money back again & closed the affair. Not to be outdone Go- Rise called us some weeks later making out they had been taken over by another company & needed our card details to "refund" money unjustly taken from us - yeah right ...get real here Go Rise ...do you think this is the Kindergarten & you are the teachers ? Piss off. (next time they call to offer anyone a refund you should ask them to send you a cheque!)

This 'company' have just called us trying to scam us out of £300 with a second year 'free' !
He gave the same company name 'go rise internet services' with a contact number of: [protected]
We aren't stupid and know the google mapping is a free service and so called his bluff, whereupon he said' Oh, okay' and rang off.
Not the manner of an established, bona-fide company !
BEWARE of such calls. We have had several of the same type now.

As a digital marketing director responsible for companies such as bbc, red bull and verious others, I am going to say that NO ONE EXCEPT Google can remove you from their search engine, anyone staying othwrwise is telling you lies.

All products except - Google ads (ppc), Google shopping (pla), Google re marketing adverts and a few other specialist products (only available through Google themselves ) are FREE.

This company are a scam! They tried to tell my mother that they are renewing her Google Maps and keywords luckily I am in online marketing myself and do her google ad words for her so I knew she had never had an account with them and they were taking the piss! Google Maps is a FREE product. These people are ###! be care ful and do no give them any money as they can not get you to the top of Google as they are not Google!

the above comment "I have used the company for a year"...strange being as they have only been trading since January... No doubt posting their own recommendations. I too have been ripped off by these bandits...Trading Standards and police are well aware of them, having received multiple complaints...I would urge anyone to do the same and report them.

We've just had a call from these scammers, Go-Rise, stating that we'd already paid for a Googlemap listing back in 2012 and would we like to renew it!. We know that the information given to us by 'Alex' was a load of bollox, as we'd never pay for something like this. Just be aware when you get a phone call from somebody with a strong Northern accent. He never got around to demanding any money, else I would have told him where to go.

COMPLETE SCAM, CALLED ME SAYING THEY WAS GOOGLE, I PAID THEM, THEN IT SAID GO RISE ON MY STATEMENT, WHO THE HELL IS GO RISE... I GOT A REFUND THROUGH MY BANK.

Go-rise ### of the earth! I told someone I didn't any money and someone kept pressuring me saying I'd be removed of google! When I kept telling him no in a polite way he became aggressive and threatened to punch my head in and put the phone down! I have contacted training standards and also I will be contacting the police over this matter

im sad to say i have been conned by this company, im an old woman and was led to believe andy was calling from google, at first he was polite and he quoted a password, and also provided me the last 4 digits of the card i have, is this fraud? then he started pressuring me, and after stating i wasnt interested he said that he would delete all my details from google. after giving card details he later mentioned go rise which i think he said go-rise, how did he have this information when the have only been opened a month, i have rung my bank and they will be stopping the payment as soon as they attempt to take my money, i hope my words can help anyone else being forced into business with these con artists, regards

Don't fooled by this company, absolute waste of time and money. Promise the earth but end up delivering nothing. It wouldn't surprise me if they get shut down soon. Go Rise? I'd be surprised if they could make their own ### rise.

anybody who does not provide a manned phone beware! screams scam

The company director is a Mr Jordan Woods, why have a virtual office based in London and a telephone that is not manned if you have nothing to hide?
It appears to me that GO RISE is a complete scam, they are a scam company hiding behind a scam address.
