I've been a customer for many years and have received excellent (if expensive) service. This time was no exception as DJ had his work cut out for him. Finally locating a very small and not continuous leak from my water heater kept him moving between my shed and my neighbor's shed. He kept us apprised of what he was doing in addition to responding to our general conversations while working. Prompt delivery of a new water heater and installing same made for a 4 hour service call. DJ is a great employee from this customers view.

We had the whole valve system in our 2 toilet tanks replaced by George Brazil in October. After a couple of weeks we noticed one of the toilets would go through a short refill cycle a couple of times a day. We scheduled a warranty service with George Brazil. They came out right away and, as an abundance of caution, decided to replace the entire valve system. Everything works great now. George Brazil was very responsive. Also, the technician they sent (Daniel M.) was very personable, listened to concerns, and seemed very knowledgeable.

We just had a phone interaction with a Gorge Brazil plumbing dispatcher. She was rude, unprofessional, argumentative, interruptive and would not answer our questions. We have had this treatment from her before on other service calls for other plumbing and electrical service. I am still waiting for a manager to call back from our interaction on previous plumbing and electrical service at our other home in Scottsdale. We will never use George Brazil plumbing or electrical services again, despite having maintenance contracts with this company.

Woke up Friday morning to find no hot water and the pan under the heater was full. Called Brazil and they had a plumber at my door about two hours later. The heater was about 10 years old and had a slow leak. Ugly... The plumber went over the choices which really amounted to change out the heater. After pricing it out as well as discussion how the process would work it was a go. He had a new gas water heater in the truck which was a main brand heater which he installed and about four hours later, we had hot water. Amazing... We also have a contract with Brazil for our three heat pumps. Can't say enough.

Ernesto was everything you would want in a service person, kind, gregarious, hospitable (to me and my pooch). He showed up on time, put on his shoe covers (which I so appreciate) and got straight to work. Some trouble shooting was necessary. Ernesto was patient and calm while he went through several scenarios that could be the cause. All the while friendly and conversational. Needless to say, he diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes, fixed it in about 30, gave my big dog a quick head rub and was on his way. I would definitely use him again, and highly recommend him to anyone that needs a top notch plumber.

Alec (electric), Fernando (plumbing) and Zach (electric) installed an electric tankless water heater in my home. They provided superlative service! They were professional, efficient and very knowledgeable. They answered all my questions and walked me through each step of the installation. They even went above and beyond and assessed other plumbing/electric issues in my home without pushing to sell services or products. The payment process was simple and accurate. I paid the exact estimate that was provided to me before installation. I am very satisfied with the service I received from George Brazil. I am now a loyal customer!

Had a very good experience recently with George Brazil Plumbing. Something had broken, as a puddle had formed in our front yard. DJ noticed the irrigation box (next to our house water inlet) was full of water. He could have said to call a sprinkler company and drove away, as it appeared that the problem was not due to household plumbing. Instead, he shut off the sprinkler valve, bailed the water out of the irrigation box, found a failed valve, and provided an irrigation contact to repair the valve. This was quite a relief, as we had no idea what had failed. This is the third time I have used George Brazil plumbing, and each time had excellent service.

I was very impressed. Christina, the dispatcher listened to my situation (possible safety) and made an effort to get an electrician to me ASAP rather than 6-8 hrs later. The electrician arrived within 45 minutes. Robert was not just prompt and polite but determined the solution and had it fixed very timely. It's an older residence so he did a quick inspection to point out some things brought to his attention while fixing my immediate issue. I was appreciative for the immediate repair and for making me aware of some issues I should have addressed. I plan on using George Brazil for future electrical work and would easily recommend them to anyone needing an electrician.

When our hot water heater went out and our home warranty screwed things up, we called George Brazil. We expected to pay a bit more, but based on the service, expedience and attentiveness to detail, the price was worth it! Joey was assigned to our repair. It was a complicated job due to a previous repair being done incorrectly...again by a home warranty plumber...but Joey was a champ! He was organized and made sure everything was in perfect working order even though the hour was getting late. He left the area in our garage as clean, if not cleaner, than when he started. Thank you, Joey and George Brazil for a great experience. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing issues.

I was totally impressed with Alex, the representative who fixed my plubing problem. He was punctual, knowledgeable and clearly knew how to solve my problem. He answered my questions, gave me cost options as to approach and completed what I viewed as a major problem, in about an hours time. Because of the emergency nature of my problem (I was not able to turn the water on in the entire house after having to turn it off. This was due to the age of the master faucet, which no longer would work.) Alex was able to respond almost immediately after I contact hiis home office. I am very impressed with Alex and George Brtazil. I have used them in the past and I will use them, as needed, in the future!

Mike came out for a plumbing inspection and, as I predicted, it was time for a new water heater. I talked with him about a tankless option and Mike gave me an estimate for that and set things up for an electrician to come that same day for an estimate for the electrical work. Turns out that was not in my budget so I went with the regular water heater. The following Saturday Mike came to install it - on his normal day off. He wanted to follow up and complete the service. It is so rare today to find someone as professional, skilled, and personable as Mike and it says a lot about not just his character, but also the character of the company he works for. Thank you Mike, and Thank you George Brazil.

A wonderful experience. They were not the 1st service I called, but they were the 1st to answer. My call was met by one of their agents who explained the process and this would be the theme throughout the day. Their agent secured a time for one of their employees to visit. I received texts and or calls to inform me of every step. I knew when I would be visited and I was sent the young man's profile, so i knew exactly who was assigned to help with my situation. His profile contained his picture and his work experience. This added a sense of security. The young man as well as the initial agent who took my call were both friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. I am very happy with the service they provided.

I liked the communication from the office letting me know when the plumber would arrive and he (Brad) arrived when scheduled. He did a very thorough job. I did not like being charged 100-150% more for a toilet install. George Brazil charged $992 just for a toilet that sells for $235 on *** (the toilet manufacturer) up to $535 from ***. This is price gouging and I believe that my 83 year old father was NOT completely aware of the fact that the full bill was going to be $1100 AND although George Brazil let me know through Texts, Email and Phone Calls when the tech was arriving, the tech did not call me prior to service to authorize the charge. He claimed that he was not aware. This is shameful capitalism and I am absolutely surprised that this is a company that the Complaintsboard.com would award a Torch Award for Ethics.

Mike R. I called George Brazil to have a water pressure valve checked. Within an hour, my service technician, also named Mike, arrived. He was courteous and very professional. I found that the pressure valve was functioning just fine, however Mike suggested that I consider what he called a snowbird valve. It allows water to the house to be shut off while allowing outside water for trees and plants to flow. It was a great idea, and while the valve with installation was not cheap, $390, Mike added a new hose bib with quick disconnect to replace my aging unit. I am very pleased with my decision, and very pleased with Mike's knowledge and service. Mike is from Iraq, has been in the US for 6 years, and just obtained his US citizenship last week. I am very proud of Mike for his personal commitment to this country and his company. Great job.

We had an emergency situation with a leaking toilet tank on a Saturday so we selected George Brazil Plumbing based on their reputation and that they are an Accredited Complaintsboard.com Business, which has won a Complaintsboard.com Torch Award for Ethics. Larry B. was sent that same day and he called to let us know that he would arrive in 30 minutes, which he did. He was dressed all in in white and wore covers on his shoes (just like in the TV commercials). He gave us a couple of options for making the repair and quoted us the prices and he had all of the materials that were needed in his truck. He worked very neatly and efficiently to make the repair. He tested the repair several times to be sure that the leak was completely fixed. And the amount that we were billed was exactly what he had quoted without any extra charges. We are very pleased that the repair was made on a Saturday and with the way he worked and with the results.

We called George Brazil to change out our salt softener water system to a non salt system. The company was prompt in not only getting someone here promptly, but in keeping us up to date via phone and email as to when the technician would be arriving. Thomas K was the technician. He was not only courteous but listened to us and answered all our questions before the work was approved and started. A Flow tech system was installed and a new R/O system (much cheaper to maintain than our old one). In talking with him about the condition of our hot water tank (14 yrs old), Thomas inspected the tank and found rust around the seams. We decided to have him to also replace the tank. He called the office and scheduled himself to return in the AM the following day. All work area was cleaned up and left in good condition. Thomas re-inspected the work from the previous day to insure there were no problems. In our eyes, he went above and beyond. You could also see he enjoyed his job.

We needed a new R.O system installed, with pipe run not to a sink but to a remote faucet, plus a side line through a wall for a new icemaker. We also needed a water pressure valve and water heater expansion tank in order to reduce our very high (110 psi) city incoming water pressure down to less than 80 psi. Shane started with the water pressure valve and steadily and carefully worked through all of the tasks, explaining what was happening whenever we came to watch. He did a series of tests to be sure of no leaks, showed us how to drain and fill the RO system a couple of times to be sure the water was pure to drink, and cleaned up afterward. We have used the George Brazil company for many years, both at our house and businesses, and we have never been disappointed. They have enough people to be able to add us into their schedule usually within one day. We think the price we paid for this work was fair (especially as it was somewhat odd, but Shane knew what to do in every case), and we will call them for any future plumbing or electrical work.

We have been a client of George Brazil for several years and paid for their highest membership program. As part of this service, every year we have them come out and flush out and maintain our water heater to help maximize it's lifespan. In the past, I haven't had an issue with their service (other than their outrageous price estimates for "suggested" repairs"). However, this past week we had a very frustrating experience and I 'm not sure how much faith we have in them going forward. Thursday afternoon our technician Fernando came to flush the water heater. He was punctual, polite and seemingly knowledgeable. He told me the anode rod had rusted out and should have been changed at last year's maintenance appointment (we were not told it needed to be replaced last year). So we paid over $220 to have the anode rod replaced and Fernando went on his way. Within an hour after he left, all of the water coming out of our hot water faucets started coming out brown. It was disgusting. So I called George Brazil back telling them to come check out the problem and to their credit, customer service was great and they were able to get Fernando back out on Friday late afternoon. Long story short, it was recommended we needed a new water heater although ours was only 6 years old. Thankfully our warranty was coincidentally for 6 years so we replaced the heater. i was frustrated because this is now two evenings in a row where this heater issue has disrupted our plans. Fernando was able to replace the heater very quickly and once again he was on his way. The next day I found the newly installed water heater leaking and water flowing into our garage. I was so upset to have to be dealing with this AGAIN. George Brazil was able to get their on-call tech to our house at 7:45 that evening and he discovered not one, but two leaking valves from improper installation. Our emergency tech Adam was great. He discovered all the problems and fixed everything. However, we now have a "new" water heater that contains rust from the leaking valves (we can see the rust). I am frustrated that we have a compromised "new" water heater that is out of warranty AND that I paid $650 in labor charges (on a heater under warranty!) for faulty installation that caused leaking and rusting in the new heater. I feel like we have been taken advantage of. Since we have already paid for the annual membership, we will probably have them continue to flush out our water heater every year. However, if we ever have a plumbing emergency I don't have the confidence they will provide the best service - service all customers should expect for the price we are paying. I have lost trust in them as our preferred plumber and after this experience, could not recommend them to friends or family... which is unfortunate for them because people are always looking for a good plumber.
