Great customer service. I went in to get a car, they took care of me very very well. When I walked in I was greeted and the sales person understood what I wanted and delivered it as fast as possible. No time was wasted. I got a great rate for the rate of credit I had at that time! Great car price and great service. Would recommend to come here for a new or used car!

Gastonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is the place to go if you want top-notch customer service. I went there to buy a car and they treated me real good. As soon as I walked in, someone said hi and the salesperson knew exactly what I was after. They wasted no time and got me what I wanted real quick. The price for the car was great and the service was even better. I reckon y'all should come here if you need a new or used car. It's worth it, I tell ya!

It wasn't easy to get the right info. I walked in, saw a car I liked, and wanted to buy it. I just wanted the facts and figures about buying a car (I've bought lots of cars before, so I know how it goes). They said they couldn't assist me, probably because they knew I wouldn't fall for any tricks, so they asked me to leave. I went to another dealership and bought the same SUV in just two hours! So, don't ever buy a car from Gastonia Jeep Dodge.

Gastonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram On May 4, I decided to give Gastonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram a second visit as I was in search of another 2020 Dodge Charger

On May 4, I decided to give Gastonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram a second visit as I was in search of another 2020 Dodge Charger. Robert was my sales man and he was professional and personable. The negative about Robert was the fact that he wasn't knowledgeable about the 2020 GT Dodge Charger. He also gave me his word that the Sales Manager would only complete a soft inquiry on my credit and that was just to see where my credit score was and what my payments would look like. In the 5 minutes I was sitting there waiting, I got (4) HARD INQUIRIES ON MY CREDIT and mind you I never signed any documentation for them to do Hard inquiries. The exact opposite of a soft inquiry. Now, of course, this was the second deterrent because at this point my answer was going to be NO! Now to the USED car sales Manager Michael. As a Wells Fargo employee, I know that our company offers a supplier discount which is 1% below the invoiced price the vehicle was purchased for. Talking to this guy, I really felt offended because when he tried to quote me the price of the car, he went over it entirely too fast and when I asked him questions, he was VERY short with me and circled back to say that we could not get the car any lower and that the price he gave us was the lowest price and that was the online price. Then he asked me what my credit score was and I told him. This man literally scrunched his face up at me and acted as though there was nothing he could do with that. He initiated the hard inquiry on my credit and when he did this, it was 4 different inquiries and at NO POINT DID I CONSENT TO THIS. Robert comes back over to talk numbers and I asked him why it was a hard inquiry. His response was AND I quote "He didn't know Michael was going to do that and they had agreed on a soft inquiry." He also said that "He doesn't normally deal with him and a lot of people complain about his snooty attitude. Fast forward, Michael comes to me and says "hey I got Capital One bank willing to finance you but they would want my Dodge Charger to trade and Michael at most could only give me $3,500 trade-in value which was decent. During this conversation, I said well I don't want to trade my charger because my brother-in-law wanted to buy it for the remainder balance owed. He says "well it's that or $9,000 and he didn't suppose that I had $9,000 to give." (And why am I giving $9,000 when I should only have to put down the difference of what's owed.) First off, I am an African American woman, he had no right to pass any type of judgment towards my credit or my financial stability to be able to provide a down payment towards any vehicle for that fact. Now here is the thing, I do have the money and the money to pay my current car off but that wasn't the point. BECAUSE OF THE WAY I WAS treated, I will never do business with this dealership AGAIN. I didn't feel valued as a customer and I witnessed other people of different races being treated differently. One thing you should never do is judge a book by its cover because everyone is in there for the same reason, which is to buy a car at a good rate. What it boils down to is now another dealership has the same car with the same price and is willing to negotiate. Gastonia Dodge ruined this experience for me and I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. The sad part is my partner and I went here first to do business with them in March looking for a 2020 Scatpack because they didn't have what we were looking for. We went to Piedmont Dodge in Anderson, SC and got the FCA supplier discount and we negotiated the price and got his 2020 Scatpack and gave them a cashier's check for the full price. See, we already completed our research before going to a dealership and we already have a price point for what we are going to spend. They can either cut the deal or we drive off with no strings attached and be perfectly happy and content with our two Dodge Chargers we currently own. Most car dealers who want to sell a car cut the deal and want to negotiate, but at Gastonia Dodge, they don't like to do business like that. *** They have pulled my credit after only saying they were going to do a soft inquiry on my credit, which I was fine with, but Michael Todd and Robert Cheek took it upon themselves to go to several lenders and never once did I consent with my signature. With the Fair Credit Reporting Act, it states this. This needs to be investigated ASAP because if they did it to me, they did it to someone else and think it's okay to get away with.

I ain't too happy with the service I got after buying my 2016 *** Explorer from Gastonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The car looked good at first, but dang it, I started having problems right after driving it for just one day! First, the dang battery died while I was at work. Then, I noticed that my second key didn't work. And to top it off, the cig lighter in the front row didn't work either. Oh, and don't even get me started on the rear passenger door. It wouldn't open with the buttons, only manually by yanking the lock up. So, I called 'em up and asked for a few small fixes: 1. Car battery replacement. 2. Key fob battery replacement. 3. Fuse for the cig lighter. 4. Fix the lock on the rear door. Now, before you go thinkin' these ain't no big deal, let me tell ya, they charged me a whopping $899 dealer fee, the highest I've seen outta the six different dealerships I've been to this week. And these are all problems that should've been fixed before they sold me the dang car! I wanna know what their return policy is, but I asked a bunch of employees and none of 'em could give me a straight answer. What the heck is it?

On 8/3, I had an appointment to get my Dodge Nitro fixed for a warranty problem. On 8/4, Gastonia Dodge's Jay Rappaport called Endurance Warranty and said they found out that the wipers won't stop and the signals don't work. Endurance Warranty told Jay that they need to figure out what's causing those issues. Jay called me and started asking for $745.00 to do more tests. I called Endurance Warranty and they agreed to let them do more tests, and they said I only have to pay a $100 deductible. On [protected], Jay called me and threatened to call the police if I don't pay him $745.00, so I asked to talk to his manager. On [protected], Jay's manager, Rebecca F, called me and I told her how Jay is trying to force me to pay $745.00 for more tests. Endurance Warranty told Rebecca to do more tests and submit it with the claim, but they are still trying to make me pay. Please help me. Date: [protected]. Thank you. Sincerely

Gastonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Known problem with *** replacements on car

Known problem with *** replacements on car. *** won't help with problem, so dealership has to charge extra. I contacted the dealer to get my glow plugs replaced, and they agreed to do it. However, they informed me that if the glow plugs break off and fall into the engine, I would have to pay for any additional costs. It's recommended to replace these parts regularly, and according to several service managers, it's common for them to break during replacement. The dealership wants me to cover the cost, but *** thinks the dealership should pay. The part itself costs $50-80, but the total repair could cost up to $1000. If the part breaks off, the additional damage could cost thousands more. It's not fair for the consumer to bear the cost of something they didn't break. I called *** and one person said they would cover the cost if there was additional damage during the repair. However, the next two people I spoke to said they wouldn't cover it. It's frustrating that routine maintenance could result in having to pay for a cylinder head or even an engine replacement because of low-quality parts used in the manufacturing process.

I was told the payment would be 490.00 with no money down if I signed that day. They didn't go over the paperwork with me when I signed. They added an optional extended warranty, even though I have emails from the salesman Jeremiah stating that I needed to be at 500.00 to make the purchase. He called and said it would be 490.00 with no money down. Initially, they wanted to include 2000.00 from my truck loan into the car, but the offer they showed me later didn't include that. I'm 60 years old and should know better, but I sat with the Fiancé Manager Mike to ask questions. I thought that what Jeremiah said about the payment would be close, depending on the finance rate. I signed and initialed where they asked me to. They gave me a USB with the information and my wife and I left. We made a second two-hour trip there after my wife found out that the USB had no information on it. When she opened the new ISB, we were shocked to see that the payment was over 600.00. They also added a 5200.00 optional extended warranty without talking to me. I emailed them and then called and talked to Mike. He emailed me a cancellation form and said to sign it and email or text back a copy. I did that and asked for confirmation that it was received and cancelled. I've emailed several times, but he hasn't responded. I'm stuck with a higher payment, but they shouldn't have taken the money without asking if we wanted the policy.
