On 10th February 2024, I purchased Eco-Friendly Reusable Air Fryer Silicone Tray for USD 24.99 from gamevalour.com through Facebook.
After going through the checkout process (order and payment confirmed), I left the shopping cart, unaware that I had been given a free 7-day trial account. Apparently, this account gives you exclusive access to discounted products on gamevalour.com. I neither knew or agreed to this trial account.
Checking my credit card statement the following month, I see there are 2 transactions for GAMEVALOUR.COM
12 FEB – GAMEVALOUR.COM AUD $39.70
Electronics Stores Transaction date 10 February 2024
26 FEB – GAMEVALOUR.COM AUD $62.09
Electronics Stores Transaction date 24 February 2024
The second transaction on the 26th February 2024 is for the account, I’m told because I didn’t cancel the 7-day trial account.
Communicating with GameValour.com through its website Chat, they explained I had to cancel the trial account to avoid it becoming a paid account. When I explained I didn’t know of or see anything about the account I was told it was not their problem.. according to Mariela (GameValour.com) .
I requested a refund which was denied.
I am currently disputing the payment through VISA.
Claimed loss: USD$ 39.47
Desired outcome: refund USD$ 39.47
