I got two letters that I sent to Galaxy's warranty department
I got two letters that I sent to Galaxy's warranty department. They got back to me after the first letter and sent Galaxy to check it out, but nothing got fixed. Then the concrete cracked, so I messaged both the pentek warranty contact and the galaxy contact. The galaxy contact told me to send photos and came to check it out. He said he needed to look at office documents and would contact me with a plan to fix it as soon as possible. That was on 9/16/22. I haven't heard from anyone, so I reached out on 9/21/22, but got no response. I sent the second letter on 10/3/22, and as of 10/26/22, no one has contacted me. At this point, we just want the crack fixed. There doesn't seem to be a solution for the slipping, and I can only think that some kind of refund is deserved because we haven't gotten the advertised product features or warranty.

I hired Galaxy Floor on 11/5 to coat my garage floor for $7k. The work was supposed to be completed on 3/4/22. I gave them a deposit of $1400. Unfortunately, my wife had a stroke earlier this year and she is now handicapped. She has a large craft room that she needs access to, so we decided that prioritizing the craft room was more important than the garage floor. I looked into getting a chair lift, but it was too expensive and I couldn't afford both.
In the middle of December , I called Galaxy to cancel the project. I would like to get my deposit back because they still have plenty of time to find another customer. I highly doubt they have purchased any materials for the job yet. They have only spent about 1 1/2 hours on the project, which should only cost me $100 to $150 for their time. I discovered that their contract has a non-refundable clause of 3 days, but I didn't notice it until I went back and looked at the contract again.
I just think it's unreasonable for them to keep $1400 when they haven't invested much in the project. They should return most of my down payment. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. The salesman's name is C-*** and the company is Galaxy Concrete Coating.
