When I ordered not one but two bikes from FLX Bike earlier this year in February 2017, I had high hopes for this promising company. However, my experience with FLX thus far has been nothing short of disappointing. I was elated when I received a bike from them last week, but was shocked to discover that it was my first—and only—bike, and after six long months of waiting! When I reached out to FLX Bike to inquire about the whereabouts of my second bike, I was informed that the bike was still not ready for delivery, but that it was "on its way". While I understand that upgrades were necessary and that it takes time to make these kinds of changes, six months seems excessive, especially when I consider that I had plans to use the bikes for a trip. To make matters worse, FLX Bike has failed to offer me any kind of compensation or discount, despite my expressed displeasure and frustration with the delay. Additionally, I found it particularly disheartening that I will not receive the bike that I purchased, as the company had offered me a different bike to replace the lost one. Overall, my experience with FLX Bike has been subpar and unprofessional. I had hoped for a better experience as a customer, and hope that they will work to improve their delivery and customer service in the future so that others do not have to suffer a similar fate.

I had placed an order for the FLX Bike back in July 2020, and to my disappointment, I have yet to receive it. But I must commend the FLX Bike company for their attempt to rectify the situation by offering me an upgrade to the BabyMaker II, which is set to arrive in April 2022, a full two years after my initial order. While I am glad for the upgrade, I cannot help but feel frustrated with the long wait and the lack of transparency from the company.
Furthermore, the upgrade came with some modifications that I was not particularly interested in, such as a bigger battery and different handlebars than what I had originally ordered. While these modifications may be beneficial to some, I personally do not see the value in them, especially when paired with an extended wait and poor customer service.
All in all, while the FLX Bike is certainly an incredibly well-designed and high-quality piece of equipment, the company's customer service and long wait times have left me disappointed. I feel that they ought to compensate customers for the inconvenience of such lengthy delays, and perhaps offer some kind of free item to make up for the wait.

If possible, I am hoping for a full refund so that I can move on from this experience. It's disappointing that a company that boasts such cutting-edge technology and unique features would fall so short in the customer service department.
Unfortunately, I cannot offer any insights on the state of the product as I have yet to receive it. And at this point, I'm not even sure if I ever will. It's incredibly frustrating to spend your hard-earned money on a product only to face endless delays and uncertainty.
As someone who feels cheated by FLX Bike, I urge you to avoid doing business with them altogether. Instead, seek out a reputable cycle dealer in your community to purchase your e-bike. When my patience had run out, and I pressed for more specific answers, FLX Bike representatives dodged the question, and it felt like an endless loop of avoiding accountability.
The whole experience has been quite frustrating; I have been promised delivery dates in January and April- and nothing has happened! It is now May, and I am left feeling deceived and hopeless. To pay top dollar for a bike and receive terrible service is not acceptable, and I feel cheated. At this point, my trust in this company has been shattered, and I do not recommend them to anyone.
In conclusion, my advice would be to steer clear of buying a bike from FLX Bike. As a human being, I cannot recommend this company, and this has been a complete failure on their part. Don't put yourself in a similar situation by trusting them.

Unfortunately, when I contacted their customer service team for assistance, they informed me that the only way to update this information was through their app. I downloaded the app, but unfortunately, I was still unable to make the necessary changes.
After reaching back out to the customer service team, they informed me that they were unable to update my information due to security reasons. They suggested that I create a whole new account and then contact them so they could transfer my points from one account to another. I was completely frustrated by this response, as I found it unreasonable that I had to create a new account simply to rectify my birth year.
When I expressed my disbelief to the customer service representative, they informed me that I would need to create a new email address as well in order to create a new account. This was more than I was willing to do, especially since the only error with my account was the incorrect birth year. Despite providing them with all of my information and no issues with any other details on my account, they were unwilling to make the necessary update.
As a result, I lost all of my accumulated points with FLX Bike and, unfortunately, will no longer be shopping with them. It is extremely disappointing to receive such poor customer service, especially after being a loyal customer for a long time. I hope that they will reconsider how they handle this type of situation in the future and work towards better customer service practices.

Unfortunately, reaching a "real person" to inquire about my order was impossible, and the auto-generated emails I received did not provide helpful updates. Based on this experience, I'm confident that the company doesn't take the time to read customer emails. The delivery dates for my husband's bike were constantly pushed back and changed at least five times, even though we paid in full back in August of 2020. My husband sent numerous emails to the company requesting an update, but we received no response whatsoever. To be frank, please avoid purchasing a bike from FLX Bike; you'll likely share similar frustrations to what we're experiencing. At this point, we're looking for a refund, but alas, we haven't received any communication from the company. We waited for an entire year for my husband's bike (specifically the BabyMaker model), and as of now, we still have nothing to show for it. We want to caution others to spend your hard-earned money with a company that understands the significance of timely responses, has a decent customer service experience, and values their customers. Seriously, it's frustrating to have been so patient only to have been let down in this way.
