I placed an order to be delivered to a friend, in honor of her late husband. He'd buy her flowers every week (not from this company).
It was supposed to be same day delivery.
I received a text message stating that the flowers I ordered 9/11/2026 were not in stock but they had fresh flowers coming in the next day.
They asked if I could change the delivery to 9/12/2026. I messaged back, telling them thats fine, I can wait.
This morning, (9/12/2026) I received an email stating that because the company tried to reach out to me concerning my order, and failed to reach me, it resulted in an automatic cancelation of my order.
Apparently the charge will drop off and be refunded within 3-5 business days.
This is unacceptable as they have already been in contact with me concerning my order. I was willing to wait.
I spend over $100 (including a $20 "service fee" they didn't mention until checkout).
Ordering flowers is expensive and not something I can do all the time. I finally had the funds to do something and it gets cancelled. I'd rather make my own bouquet anyway. I should have just done that to begin with.
I added photos of the messages. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt, but this just feels flat and empty. I'll be watching my bank statement. $100 is alot for me right now.
