As someone who has been using this site since 2017, I must say that it has definitely gone downhill. I wouldn't recommend it to others because of the toxic nature of the community. I did make some friends and had enjoyable moments on this site, and it did help me improve my art skills. However, I eventually had to leave because of the rampant racism, homophobia, pedophilia, ableism, and other similar issues.

It's impossible to ignore these problems, especially when there are certain popular users who hold strong opinions and have engaged in questionable activities in the past (and maybe even currently, who knows?). It's disheartening to see that anyone can post anything on this site, including explicit content, because the site owner doesn't really moderate it.

This site has truly shattered my innocence and that of many others. I long for the days when I could have that innocence back.

The site, like, sometimes lags a lot for, like, no reason at all, you know? It can be, like, super frustrating to, like, access the editor or even post your art after you finally finish it. The editor they have right now is, like, so flawed, man. The stabilizer thingy they got going on just messes up my lineart, you know? It's, like, impossible to get those smooth lines I want. And, like, on top of that, it messes up my lettering when I'm trying to write sentences. It's, like, a total bummer, dude.

So yeah, overall, FlipAnim is, like, not worth it, man. There are way better options out there, you know? Don't waste your time with this one.

The amount of toxicity and exposure to nsfw is completely insane. This site has no age limit, nor moderation to keep the sites main age demographic safe from users who post innaproprate and harmful comments, posts, and other things. Even the site owner has said he doesnt work much with the site, and even made a joke of it a multitude of times. He has addressed the problem and still has not fixed it, which shows that he himself stuggles to take care of a growing and changing community.

The editor is okay, but it doesnt contain all the helpful tools a digital animating site would need. Redirection errors constantly occur, and the site often glitches.

For big animation projects, i would highly not recomend this site, as there is no way to upload a big project. It fails due to captcha problems making slow loads to the site impossible.

If you decide to go hunting for a site with a built in drawing editor, i highly do not recomend this site.
