First Chicago Insurance review: Full coverage for a year, total loss and they paid nothing

My name is Ladonda Maxey and my accident was on MARCH 9th of 2023, in Indianapolis, IN on Rockville Road and Raceway Road in the parking lot of a Walgreens. I was in an accident in a parking lot on 03/09/2023. I was headed to work and there was construction and a huge electrical box and bush obstructing my and the other drivers view. While I was simply trying to get from the Walgreens parking lot to the 5 Guys, I was Slammed INTO by another SUV sending my car almost into oncoming traffic, every airbag went off. I called FC and they DID SEND A LETTER OF COC TO THE BMV, so my license wasn’t suspended. I had to have my truck towed to my home, where it sat subjecting to the elements bc I had about 3 different adjusters. Finally I speak with one and tell her what happened after 2/3 weeks and she says everything will be okay we will get this sorted because I had FULL COVERAGE, GAP AND EXTENSED WARRANTY! I covered my behind! I paid all of my payments on time, never had any issues. I called almost everyday with no call back and finally I get a call thinking this is is it it’s going to get fixed but no she instead asks ME IF MY VEHICLE WAS TOTALED! I said I don’t know you haven’t sent anyone out! So she sends someone out and after another 2 weeks she calls back asking me if she can record me, I say yes bc I am hiding nothing and she proceeds to ask me about the fender bender I was in in Jan of 2022, I know that I had already told the agent about this because I wouldn’t lie to an insurance company! Plus they are supposed to do underwriting and they find everything you’ve done out anyways so there’s no point to ever lie! But see what happened was in April 2022 when I got the policy legally bound and renewed in Oct of 2022, where they alAGAIN should have done underwriting, they DID NOT. They don’t do underwriting until I filed claim! It’s called post claims under writing and it’s BAR FAITH! I spoke with the head of claims and he and I quote said “we DO NOT DO UNDERWRITING HERE BECAUSE WE AHOULS BE ABLE TO TRUST THAT OUR CLIENTS WILL TELL THE TRUTH!”. Like what? Yes in an ideal world, but this is not an ideal world! People DO LIE ALL THE TIME! That’s WHY THE UNDERWRITING PROCESS IS IN PLACE! Anyways they said I answered no to a question I know I answered yes to about the fender bender, and they said it would have raised my premium on two vehicle $100. I was mind blown, then he went to the extreme and said he was rescinding my whole policy bc THEY didn’t do their due diligence! I called and asked for a recording and Tyler said there wasn’t a recording so I called th le agent Maria and she said yea but they changed systems so it would take months to get it. Well 2 days later, if that, Tyler calls me saying yes there’s a recording and your on it saying no. So I asked him to let me hear this recording bc it is my right and he said NO ABSOLUTELY NOT! When I told Maria she said that she felt like it was all her fault and would fix it but did nothing, I KNOW that if there is a recording I am either on there saying yes I was in a car accident or the question was never even asked! They ruined my whole entire life as I knew it and they keep doing this to people. There’s a lot more to my situation though but First Chicago news out of business and those of us who they have messed over and here it is 3 years later and I still cannot get passed this. I lost my car, everything I built, my job, friends, family, my relationship, I lost every single thing I knew and built bc they wouldn’t honor their contract. They RUINED MY LIFE! I will get my day in court and they will reap what they’ve sown, ALL THREE YEARS OF THIS HELL! And my GAP insurance is next
