Fenwick Home Services I had a way better experience than I thought with Fenwick Home Services, LLC

I had a way better experience than I thought with Fenwick Home Services, LLC. It was mostly because of *** and *** and the rest of their team. We had our whole house repiped and even the county inspector was amazed by their work. You should really think about hiring this company because they really take care of everything and respond to every request. BO

Fenwick Home Services Be careful wen considering Fenwick Services for service

Be careful wen considering Fenwick Services for service. I got marketing mail from them that appeared in the envelope window to be a check from the government. This occurred when I expect tax refund checks to be distributed. Its my opinion that this seems deceptive and makes me question their ethics.

Fenwick Home Services They came to replace two faucet heads for the washer in the laundry room!

They came to replace two faucet heads for the washer in the laundry room! The dummies quoted me over $1,400.00 to replace the assembly! TWO DARN SPIGOT HEADS AND A PLASTIC FRAME! Then he said just the k*** (what I wanted in the first place) over $600.00. I laughed and he offered to do it for a $114 dispatch fee and if I paid HIM $200 cash$314.00 total! I said hit the bricks and he said I still owed them a $114.00 dispatch fee! I told him all I wanted to see was ankles and elbows and to take his crooked a*** down the road!*** Fenwick sold the company a couple of years ago to a bunch of bandits.

Fenwick Home Services They tried to charge me for comin out and checkin pipes

They tried to charge me for comin out and checkin pipes. Tried to charge me $20.00 for gas and a total of $109.00 total fee. Didnt go up into attic like I asked to check and see if a pipe is leakin. Basically it appears that the $109.00 was for a show up fee and gas was for the whole *** area. Good thing that they did waive the whole $109.00 after I told them that it was totally ridiculous. Then I also called and asked to speak with a Manager. Got a hold of same guy who wanted to charge me $20.00 for gas. Felt like a total scam between Dispatch and Plumber. Never will call again.

Fenwick Home Services We been using Bill Fenwick plumbing for many years now and always found their work top quality and their prices fair

We been using Bill Fenwick plumbing for many years now and always found their work top quality and their prices fair. We didn't know they changed owners until just now while reading other reviews. We bought a new dishwasher and a garbage disposal and, cause of the pandemic, we decided to have Fenwick install them instead of having random people in our house without masks. Their techs do wear masks, gloves, and shoe coverings. That's the good news. The problem is their bill. They charged us $896 to install a dishwasher and a garbage disposal. Since we bought both appliances, this cost was all labor. Their charges ain't fair and reasonable at all and maybe they'll realize this as they keep losing long time customers.

Fenwick Home Services Had a problem with my water heater covered by warranty

Had a problem with my water heater covered by warranty. Called them up, explained everything, and set up an appointment for the next day. I even took the time to turn off, drain, and disconnect the unit beforehand as a nice gesture. But when the technician showed up, they said they wouldn't do it unless I paid *** bucks upfront and handled the reimbursement paperwork myself. Now I'm stuck in a tough spot. I took a day off from work to be here (they even agreed to come two hours earlier than planned), and now I have to either fix it myself or go without hot water for a few more days. If they don't do warranty work, why didn't they just tell me that when I explained everything on the phone?

Fenwick Home Services I've used Bill Fenwick a bunch of times, last time was for a leaky valve on my fridge water line

I've used Bill Fenwick a bunch of times, last time was for a leaky valve on my fridge water line. I called 'em up and they came out in like 2 hours, swapped out the valve and cleaned up the mess. The guy who did the job was super nice, professional, and polite, just like every other time I've used 'em under Mr. Fenwick and the new owners. They've changed how they estimate charges now, with a set price that might not be right if the fix is easier and quicker than they think. I had to say no to one job I wanted 'cause of this. The new owners should really think about this and make customers feel more confident. But overall, I'd recommend this company, especially in emergencies.

Fenwick Home Services I was lookin for quotes to install a new kitchen sink and some accessories

I was lookin for quotes to install a new kitchen sink and some accessories. They came out and said it would be about $700 to install the equipment that I was supplying. I questioned the price and said I was expecting it to be around $300 since it was basically labor and the materials to replace the p-trap. He went to his van to talk to his boss, and came back saying he could do it for $600 because it was going to take up to four hours. I got quotes from three other companies, and they all came in about $350, which is what I was expecting. The licensed and insured plumber I went with finished the job in a little over two hours, for a total bill of $347 for labor and material with the same one-year warranty Fenwick was offering. It's not the first sink I've had installed, so I knew about what it should cost and how long it would take. I worry others might not be as knowledgeable and end up with a massive over priced service. I don't know if they do quality work, but if you are considering hiring them, get multiple quotes and know about what the going market cost is for the job you are doing.

Fenwick Home Services Fenwick came out in October for drainage issue and to be snaked

Fenwick came out in October for drainage issue and to be snaked. I was told my main piping was old and had collapsed. The tech looked around for a minute and came to me with an estimate of $3500 to repair issue saying it covers from house to the city tap. It was a little pricey but I was in need since my sinks and tubs would not drain and I have kids. I had them start the job. First day they came out and started replacing the piping and told me it's a 2-day job. They got about half way through the first day. Second day they got to the driveway and stopped. They came to my wife and told her in order to finish the job they need an additional $2000 because they needed to tear up the driveway and go to the other side. I declined because the initial estimate was to fix the entire issue to the city tap. At this point the sinks and tubs were draining. Since the job I had 3 plumbers come out and snake the piping and was told the estimate I was given and the work that was done was not right. It should have covered the whole job since the majority labor was driveway, not digging up my front yard and stopping. Went and spoke to a manager and said he would send somebody out to assess issue. They then set an appointment for a tech to come out which was the helper at the time when repair was getting done. Asked about the initial estimate and said unfortunately it was a mistake and didn't know where the piping was going. He then gave me another estimate to finish the job which it was a couple hundred less than the original. I would not recommend using them for any work. I was told so much for a certain job that has yet to be corrected. I can't wash dishes for extended period of time, or if my kids take longer showers the drain backs up and takes a while to drain. This is unacceptable.

Fenwick Home Services HOMEOWNER BEWARE**DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY**I contacted them to come out & disconnect a sink so that I could have countertops installed

HOMEOWNER BEWAREDO NOT USE THIS COMPANYI contacted them to come out & disconnect a sink so that I could have countertops installed. When asked about price they stated it was $119 to come out & $25 in fuel cost PLUS parts & when countertops are done call back & we will come put back as a follow up. Since I only needed to disconnect/reconnect this sounded right & no parts were necessary. Once they arrived the tech looked at the job & told me the price would be $768 + the show up cost. I recounted what i was told at the call in & he said oh they dont know pricing of the job, that is what we tell you. I asked why they didnt explain *** said it is not how we do it. Upon completion of my countertops I called back for the "follow up" & was told i was being forwarded to dispatch to set it up & she had no idea how much i would be charged but was sure it wasnt going to include the showup cost. When dispatch answered they had no idea what i was talking about & sent me back to scheduling who sent me back to dispatch. Eventually, Dispatch told me that they would send someone next tuesday to reconnect. (because that is the day the original tech was back at work) of course I couldnt understand how that was necessary as any plumber should be able to come reconnect a sink. he finally agreed to send the next available tech. this tech showed up & proceeded to tell me that the reconnect cost (sink/drain/disposal) would be $1300 ($700 for sink faucet that i already had/$660 for the *** I told him that was ridiculous /asked How do you not know this when someone calls your company? He explained this company has people all over the midwest answering calls and then sending them to dispatches *** dont know anything about services or costs of the actual job. After much frustration and discussion he agreed to charge $500. HOW? it was like negotiating a car price seemed Very Unethical and sketchy. i felt so taken advantage of. *** LEARNED!

Fenwick Home Services Fenwick plumber messed up and thought the leak in our sink was because of a bad collar on the disposal

Fenwick plumber messed up and thought the leak in our sink was because of a bad collar on the disposal. They charged us $164 for the first visit, which was supposed to cover the cost of installing the collar when they came back. But guess what? The disposal collar wasn't even leaking! Turns out, our sink was falling. This seems to be a common issue in Toll Brothers homes with cast iron sinks. Luckily, a local handyman fixed the brackets holding up the sink and even raised and caulked it for us. No more leaks! It's baffling why the Fenwick plumber didn't realize the sink was the problem. We agreed to pay the $89 diagnosis fee, but it's frustrating to have wasted money on a wrong diagnosis. We just want the rest of the fee refunded for the collar replacement. Thanks a bunch.

Fenwick Home Services I bought an air conditioner for my 1100 sq ft condo on [protected]

I bought an air conditioner for my 1100 sq ft condo on [protected]. They were supposed to install it at 8:30 on Thursday [protected] at 8:30 am. They came at 10:30 and took 8 hours to install it. At 6:45 they turned it on and left. Half an hour later, it stopped working. I called the tech and they told me to call the next day. On [protected] at 11:00, a tech came and spent 4 hours fixing it. First, I noticed it was really noisy and then it kept turning on and off every 5 to 10 minutes. Later, I realized my bedroom wasn't getting cooled properly. I called customer service and they said someone would contact me. But no one did, so I called on 6/1 and they said the same thing. I talked to my Hoa manager and he said the unit size was not okay because it was 4 ft tall. I called many times and finally on Wednesday, 6/2, Terri from the complaint department said she was really sorry.

Fenwick Home Services Fenwick Services came to our house twice in the past two months

Fenwick Services came to our house twice in the past two months. The first time was around June 10th. Their technician (***) came and fixed our indoor unit drain line. They charged $358.94. The second visit was on July 20th. Our indoor unit needed a new blower. *** told us the day before that the blower was under warranty, so we only had to pay for the labor. They charged $638.59. Both visits took a little over an hour, supposedly, but the July visit cost almost twice as much. We had guests with health issues during the July visit, so it was important to get the system fixed. Despite multiple phone requests, the company has refused to email or mail us the two invoices for itemization. It seems like they are trying to hide something and take advantage of us. I want an explanation for the charges and why the second visit was so expensive. I also want to be reimbursed for the extra charges on both visits. Just to clarify, we already paid separately for ***'s diagnostic work before the blower replacement. The $638.59 was only for his work that day. Again, the blower itself was under warranty (according to ***). I always give 100% in my work and expect the same in return. Thank you, ***, ***.
