The toys from Fat Brain Toys are pretty cool. I gotta say, I had a mostly good experience with them. The only thing that kinda bothered me was that they didn't keep me in the loop about my order. I hit up Fat Brains four times to check on my order, and they kept telling me that the items would be on their truck in a couple of days and then shipped out. But then, on the fifth time I contacted them, just three days before Christmas, they finally told me that those estimates about when the stuff would be ready to ship were just guesses or something.

I've bought lots of stuff from Fat Brain Toys for my grandkids and some pals. Every single thing got processed and delivered (right, every time) super fast. Most times, my order was on its way the same day I ordered it (even those personalized name things - all spot-on too). Every age-appropriate thing I got has been awesome. I wish all companies were as good at their job as these guys. This is a top-notch company to order from; you won't be let down.

Horrible customer service! I just had a conversation with Becky, the Customer Service Specialist at Fat Brain Toys. It seems like they have no clue about what customer service actually means. I placed an order for two gifts, which were supposed to be delivered yesterday, but they never showed up. When I contacted UPS for more information, they had nothing to offer. So, I thought it would be a good idea to ask Fat Brain Toys to reorder the items and have them delivered overnight, so I could have the gifts in time for a party this weekend. But guess what? Becky flat out refused! Can you believe it? I am so disappointed and frustrated with this experience that I have decided to never purchase anything from Fat Brain Toys again. It's situations like these that make small businesses struggle and eventually shut down. It's truly disheartening.

When I placed my order, they gave me specific dates for delivery, not just estimates. I decided to pay an extra $45 to have it overnighted and delivered by 10:30 am. However, to my disappointment, they didn't ship the toy until the morning it was supposed to be delivered.

So, I decided to give their customer service a call to request a partial refund on the shipping cost. But instead of understanding my frustration, they basically called me a liar. They claimed that they don't ship past 3 pm on Fridays and not on weekends. They even promised to investigate why their website displayed the incorrect dates that were provided to me. However, I highly doubt they will actually follow through with their promise.

To make matters worse, they refused to provide any refund, stating that they still have to bear the cost. But why should I have to bear the cost for their website providing me with false information?

Overall, my experience with their customer service was just terrible.

Fat Brain Toys is like, totally amazing, you guys! They have these like, super cool toys and stuff for kids that are like, totally innovative. We were like, on the hunt for some games and activities that would really challenge our kids, you know? And guess what? We found these kits and games and books and science sets that were like, totally unique. It was like, mind-blowing!

So, we placed our orders and stuff, and they were like, "Yo, your orders are confirmed and stuff." And then they were like, "Hey, your stuff is gonna ship on this date." And then they were like, "Hey, just confirming that your stuff shipped on that date." And then, get this, they even sent us a follow-up message after each order to make sure we got all our stuff. Like, who does that? Fat Brain Toys, that's who!

If you're like, looking for some seriously unique stuff for kids, this is the place to be, my friends. But here's the best part, okay? Fat Brain Toys actually wants people to leave feedback about the stuff they sell. Like, good or bad, they're cool with it. So, we bought this solar kit from them, right? And unfortunately, it was like, not the best quality. The individual pieces were like, not manufactured properly or something. So, we were like, "Yo, we gotta write a scathing review about this."

And guess what? Fat Brain Toys totally reads those reviews, man! They saw our review and were like, "Whoa, we messed up. Our bad, dudes." They actually reached out to us and were like, "Sorry about the crappy quality, guys. You can either contact the manufacturer or hit us up for a replacement kit, no questions asked." Like, seriously? That's some next-level customer service right there!

So yeah, Fat Brain Toys is the bomb dot com, my peeps. They've got all these awesome toys and stuff, and they actually care about what their customers think. It's like, a dream come true, you know?
