Sam must be delusional if he/she thinks the Lady Lake, Florida franchise is in anyway fantastic. Appointment times mean nothing, waited 45 minutes before giving up hope of ever being seen. Mary on the front desk was unhelpful, disinterested, rude, disrespectful and surly a woman with a very bad attitude in dire need of customer service training. How this place stays in business is a mystery, they are not deserving of the one star given. If you value your time stay away, go elswhere.
I was ripped off! BEWARE of their scandalous business practices. I went in for a $24 haircut. When it was time to pay the bill they charged me $51.00! WTF? I was billed $15 to dry my hair, $12.00 for having long hair, then .65 to leave a tip. I didn’t ask for a blow dry, my stylist said she had to dry my hair to finish cutting it, so I thought, ok, cool, whatever. And $12 to cut long hair? I was there to get it all cut off!? Isn’t that why people get haircuts in the first place? Then the icing on the cake was that I had to pay a fee to leave a tip. TOTAL SCAMMERS. They should be ashamed.
I live in Marinette Wisconsin and I’ve always gotten my haircut here but as of April 1st just to get a simple haircut is 23 dollars not including tip which I always try to give. I think it’s sad that prices keep going up just to fill the pockets of the owner haircut here used to be reasonable but now it is getting out of hand when you have to pay so much just for a simple haircut like really and on top of it you don’t even offer a Veteran discount like come on what is this economy coming to
My wife bought me a gift card last Christmas for $100- Went to the Fantastic Sam's in Boulder City Nevada and it is closed (out of business) Place is empty. Went to another Fantastic Sam's close by and they said only the store where the gift card was purchased will honer it. What? never heard of that. It should be good at any Fantastic Sam's Nation wide. What do I do now? Nobody calls me back from Corporate and can't find anyone who can help.
I went to the Fantastic Sam's in Mobile, Alabama. Airport Blvd. The "stylist" was more interested in leaving work than servicing me. I had to tell her that the curling iron was unplugged! She was miffed! Wanted my money back. Nope! They said they would give me a credit for next time. Next time? There will be NO next time! I lived in the U.K. to be a hair stylist takes 4 years of training! But my hair always looks beautiful! Never again!
Fantastic Sams located at 10234 Westport Road Louisville Ky...I will never go back again! Charged me for 2 perms because they refused to cut my long hair until after the perm, then they cut it all off. That was after I asked them to cut it first. Even after they cut it all off, I still kept saying it was to long, I was told they could cut it but it wouldn’t look right, I knew what I wanted. I was finally dismissed, and told to go home and play with it, and call back if I wasn’t satisfied. I knew I was dissatisfied when I left. I am not a complainer so I held it in as long as I could, and finally called 20 days later. The manager wouldn’t even listen to anything I had to say, just told me I signed a paper when I came in saying I had 72 hours to complain, and I could come in and get another perm, but I would be charged full price. I had to chalk it up to 79.00 down the drain. Shame on you Fantastic Sams.
