I ordered a ebook and then changed my mind. Only thing I know of them is they did take my money of $12.80 out of my paypal. I am not getting ANY feedback from the email I got from ComplaintsBoard.com. Are they ligit company.

I was scammed by this company I ordered the Mary El tarot set from them and was only given the guidebook. When the title even had (with cards) in the title. As a collage student with little money this was heartbreaking. Losing my money over a incomplete product.

EZ Book Recycle may have the ComplaintsBoard.com symbol but they don't deserve it. Charged for 3 books. One they cancelled and did refund the money. the other two books I returned. Only refunded me for one book. Tried to resolve the problem with them but they still wouldn't refund me for the third book. Paid with PAYPAL and took the problem to their Resolution Center. EZ Book never returned their emails. PAYPAL ruled in my favor. But I'm still out my money. THEY SHOULD HAVE THEIR ComplaintsBoard.com RATING REVOKED !

I have been trying to get in contact with someone for two weeks. I have heard back from them once. I haven't received my check for the books I sold. They said the check shipped out on 5/21. This is the most irritating thing that has ever happened. Their website states it will be to you in 7-14 business days. It has been longer than that for me. Someone offered to send me money via PayPal, well I have yet to get it via PayPal. Also, their website states someone will be in contact with you in 1-2 business days... once again have yet to hear back from someone! All I want is the money I was told that I was getting.

I would have given them ZERO STARS if I could! SELLBACKYOURBOOK.COM is a terrible company with absolutely ZERO customer service! This company bought out my old sell back site, ***.net, which had a wonderful customer service team. The customer service phone number on the *** site now lists the Illinois address of this awful company. I have emailed SELLBACKYOURBOOK.COM 4 times now and called and left 2 voice mails over the past week and a half. I have not received one reply yet. They received two of my book orders nearly 10 business days ago and have yet to process payment on them. I will never do business with them. Don't use this sell back site if you want to actually see payment for your books. I think it's a scam.

I sent in 13 books and then they tried to play games and say that the books that were worth the most were not returned. On a separate occasion I sent in 9 books and was told that the ones that were worth the most were "water damaged" yet they were in like new condition when they were shipped. This company preys on people and scams them into paying as little as possible and then turns around and makes huge profit margins by reselling these books for a huge return. The are accusatory and take no responsibility for any of there actions and then blame the package companies for the damage but still refuse compensation and treat the situation as if you were involved with how it was transported. I would give zero stars if I could SELLBACKYOURBOOK.COM is a complete scam.

Yo, so I tried sellbackyourBook.com and let me tell you, it was a total rip-off. They said they'd give me the most cash for my books, but then they hit me with some bogus excuse about damage and wouldn't even respond to my emails when I asked for proof. And I wouldn't be surprised if they take out income tax, FICA, Medicaid, and unemployment insurance too. Like, seriously?

Honestly, you're better off just donating your old books to Goodwill. You can write off $7.50 on your income tax and feel good about helping out a good cause. Plus, you don't have to deal with all the hassle of selling your books online.

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with sellbackyourBook.com. I spent a good chunk of time scanning about 50 books, only to be met with the message "we are not buying this book at this time" over and over again. It was frustrating, but I kept at it and eventually found a couple that they were willing to take off my hands.

But then, when I finally had a collection of 20 books to send in, I hit a snag. I pressed "finish" and got an error message, which meant I had to log in again. And when I did, my cart was empty! So I had to scan all those books again. It was a real pain in the butt, let me tell you.

Once I finally got everything sorted out, it was easy enough to print the label and drop off the books at Fed Ex. But even after all that effort, I only got paid $8.49. I did the math and realized that I had spent almost 3 hours on the whole process. That's less than $3 per hour!

These scammers sell on ebay, but do not send out the items purchased. They send out random low value books instead. They should be arrested and prosecuted for thousands of cases of fraud.

I bought a book "The Music Tree Students Book Part 1 A Plan for Musical Growth at the Piano - Book Condition: Used - Good" on 2/11, Order Reference PQYXSFWOH, but what I got is not the same as what is shown on their website. I sent several emails to ask for a solution, but nobody reply me. Also, no one picks up their phone.

I submitted an order for 3 books, valued at $25.63. I sent in those three books, and when I received payment it was only $2.43. Upon checking my order, two random books were added that I had never heard of, valued at $0.16 and $0.14. So they kept my two highest valued books and filed them under random, worthless titles and paid me for those.

On 07/15, I placed an online order with EZ Books Recycle *** DBA Second Sale. I ordered 4 books under order confirmation # ***-WURRACTXJ for a total cost of $23.26. I received 2 of the books: "Blue Heaven" and "Back of Beyond" but didn't receive "Badlands" and "Paradise Valley".I have made repeated attempts to contact this company, both by email and by phone. The emails have not been answered and the phone number rings once then nothing.

When checking out, I was shown a used copy of To Kill a Mockingbird for $3.98, with free shipping and handling. I was then charged $199.99. The number to call for customer service automatically forwards to a voicemail which is full. The recording says something about books but does not say Second Sale books. It is mostly unintelligible except for the part which says books. $199.99 for a used copy of To Kill A Mockingbird?! The company has good reviews, and they have a logo which indicates they are accredited by The ComplaintsBoard.com.

I ordered a book (Sophies World - spanish edition) from this company from abebooks.com where they are listed as second sale. They sent me the book in english instead of spanish. I contacted them and explained thatI had ordered the book as a gift and now that they sent me the wrong book there was no more time to get the book from anyone else in time for the event. I asked that they send me the correct book with expedited shipping. The only reply was an email saying they would refund and if I still wanted the correct book I had to reorder it.

Purchased a paper back book, entitled "Breaking the Shame that Binds You" that was supposed to be in very good condition (per the company's condition criteria this book would have no tears, etc., and none for the next lower grade "good) that was delivered July 24 on time. The problem is that the book had both torn front and back covers and cover scuffing that was not from shipping. I emailed the company later July 24th reporting the problem and asking for their response. They sent an email confirming receipt of my email. However, to date (August 12th) have gotten NO response and no prorated refund or apology or explanation.

Re Order Number: 2186591 I shipped a box of books to this company which they confirmed they received Aug 12th 2020. Payment for the books was $61.78. I was emailed twice and told COVID may delay their processing, which is completely understandable. I recently looked up my order number on their site and found out they have cancelled the order. No explanation given. When I emailed and asked them to ship my books (per the terms of their service) back I received no response. I have entered into a transaction with this company who "purchased" my books with the option to reject any and return them to me. They have instead kept my books and the payment I am due.

Sold textbooks to this company. The books were sent using their prepaid label. They confirmed receipt and processing. Said payment of $206 would be sent within 7-14 business days. Waited that time and reported no payment received. Yadira in customer service emailed to verify my address whick was 100% accurate and stated that the check was mailed on 1/15. On 2/4 she said to send her my confirmed *** email and payment would be sent to me via *** which I did provide her the email address linked to my confirmed *** account and she never responded nor has any payment been deposited into my *** account. It's been an additional four days and no response to any of my follow up emails.

They received the books via fedex, and they were signed for on April 14th by the company. However, my order was never processed, and I never received funds for my books. They have possession of my property but never paid me for it. The website promises at most a turnover of 13 days from the time you get a quote which was April 8th. Highly disappointed and feel like I have been scammed.
