Express Flooring review: Lifetime warranty is bs

I had this company install carpet to my 3 bedrooms in my home, 3.5 years ago and was told we had a lifetime warranty on the carpet. I recently called them because in the primary bedroom the was a crease in the carpet. I need them to come and stretch out the carpet. The gal I spoke to on the service call confirmed I had a lifetime warranty, and I asked if this would be covered under this warranty and she said yes. She said someone will be contacting me to schedule a maintenance appointment. The next day I get a call from a customer service representative, Maribel. She proceeds to tell me that I do not have a lifetime warranty, I only had a 2-year warranty from the carpet manufacture. She said and I quote, "The lifetime warranty is a sales pitch the salespeople say to the customers." I had to stop her after she said that and said, "Did you just hear what you said to me?" She said that the gal on the originally call should have never confirmed that my request would be covered. I told her that this is BS and that her company is conning people by this lifetime warranty sales pitch and it is wrong. I asked for someone in upper management to talked to and all she said was that she would have my complaint escalated to management. I honestly don't believe her, and I can't believe this company is selling their flooring under a lifetime arrantly that really doesn't exist.
