I ordered custom Even G2 prescription smart glasses for $1,027 total. Even Realities manufactured the lenses with the prescription sphere SIGN REVERSED -- positive (farsighted) instead of negative (nearsighted). They are completely unusable; I cannot focus through them past about six inches. Their own agent admitted in writing that I omitted the minus sign, yet their checkout never provided any plus/minus selector or sign field, so their system shipped impossible, non-conforming lenses with no warning. Over 17 days I requested a refund or a prepaid return label at least nine times across thirteen contacts. Four different agents refused every single time, hiding behind a prescription-eyewear-is-non-returnable policy that covers change-of-mind, not a defect hey manufactured. Their only offer was for ME to pay $209 more to remake the lenses they made wrong. I have filed an FTC report (#[protected]) and a Louisiana Attorney General complaint. Do not buy prescription eyewear from Even Realities -- if they make it wrong, they refuse a refund and demand you pay again to fix their error.
Claimed loss: 1027
Desired outcome: Full refund of $1,027 to my Visa and a prepaid return label
