I had a duck.com email address. My G-Mail account was suspended and then restored and since then my duck.com email address has not been forwarding any emails to my personal account. I have emailed support and tweeted but no response, very frustrating as they don't even have the courtesy to acknowledge my problems.

I was a big fan until this happened, what's going on?

I had two problems this week. One ( 7/30/22 at11:31am) I was trying to change an automatic monthly order before it shipped. After changing it and updating it, it deleted the changes 3-4 times. I finally called their customer service and had them change it. They asked if I used DuckDuckGo and they said other users experience problems when using your browser.

Another problem is with another monthly subscription for a different company ( 8/1/22 7:44pm). They don't recognize my email and I cannot get into the account. At this point, all I know to do is switch back to my previous browser and see if the problems go away.

I use DDG on my laptop (no issues) and also on an Android Smartphone, where I am repeatedly hacked on my Android by kirototukam.com which is somehow able to turn off my McAfee VPN, open up DDG and insert this URL into my browser. This subjects me to various threats about the security of my system, quoting erroneous statements about my internet behaviour which are distressing to me. It then invites me to install a product claiming to clean my 'phone of these supposed viruses which is available on Google Play. These spurious threats, however, are not detected by either McAfee or Malware bytes. I dread to think what malware will accompany this download were I tempted to install it.

Meanwhile, you provide no facilities to block internet sites, only some vague expectation that this might soon be forthcoming.

Until you can assure me that this threat has been neutralised, I plan to wipe DDG off my Smartphone. Also, I think it is incumbent on you to look into this issue further and report Google as being complicit in this FRAUD.

every day i read fox breaking news everyday its highlighted as if i had searched it yesterday today [protected] i type in news and my highlighted page is gone i scroll to next page again gone i had to type in (fox breaking news) to get the page does this mean you have sold out to the left and no longer a viable search engine, do i need to change it if i wanted to be force fed bullcrap i would use google ,again i thought this search engine was non bias non political i choose fox because i can`t stand what democrats have done to this country and other media outlets are just a right hand of the liberal dems i want truth not lies and propaganda i am a homeowner about to be homeless because of the current administration taxes to high economy in shambles i have to go without days before the end of the month i can barely afford internet. whatever you changed in your algorythm its not working.

If you enter "Art Quill Studio" in DuckDuckGo search engine you do not reach the url site "https://artquill.blogspot.com" instead it goes to secondary sites such as Pinterest and other sites that are not the primary URL. This does not happen if you employ Google as your search engine. Our company - Art Quill & Co Pty Ltd - education division is Art Quill Studio .

To Whom it May Concern

We are a legitimate political party registered in Australia. We have contested at 4 elections in the last 6 years.

However, it has recently been brought to our attention that when you enter our party name into DuckDuckGo search engine, in 3 different ways, our webpage does not come up. Why is this please?

If DuckDuckGo have restricted us from being found, that we would like to know why? It should be left to the people to decide on whether they wish to vote for us and not DuckDuckGo to repress us based on their own personal preferences.

Searches for example:

- IMOP

- IMOParty

- Informed Medical Options Party

None of them come up in the search engine. Wikipedia and Facebook were amongst some of the searches, but not the webpage. And the webpages that do come up have no similarities to this name, except for i-mop on one of the searches.

Unable to search Abraham Lincoln or other historical figures. #GoWokeGoBroke.

My Samsung LGG pad F 7.0 tablet was fully able to listen to clips at brighteon.com until yesterday. Now the clips get a large X when I try to play them and a message that "The media playback was aborted due to a corruption problem or because the media used features that your device did not support." Another Samsung tablet and my iphone 7 have no problem playing the same clips. How can I fix this?

There is a mugshot picture on a webpage that was deleted because of proof of innocence. Yet on duck duck go the mug shot picture still shows up here

Even though I love that you block spammy sites, your program lacks in a lot of things. I signed in to my Walgreens account and some of the pages will not open, just a blank page. And I know that it is duck duck go because I signed in incognito and the pages came up.

This has not only happened with Walgreens but a lot of other sites as well!

Today I tried several times to access the Hollister Clothing site. They are my contacts. I keep getting Access denied on this server. What is going on? This has also happened on several other sites. The error message on those sites say IP add not found. I have accessed these site for years and suddenly, I can't. The latest with the Hollister co was today at 9:59 AM central time

Blossom Flowers Delivery from "CA" is a fake company that shows up when searching for flower delivery services. They took $90.84 from my bank account, never delivered flowers, have a fake email account and fake address. Their [protected] "customer service" number is fake. I have disputed charges with my bank and reported to the BBB - which won't matter as the company is not real. Please remove them from your search engine as they have a 85%+ ranking

I saw a comment on a Fox News article about Stacey Abrams. She is very outspoken about being proabortion. The comment said that Stacey Abrams had five abortions. I used your search engine to try to corroborate that. All I got was pro-Abrams articles. I did learn she is single. This is not the first time I have found many left leaning articles ahead of more centrist or fact based articles.

Myself and others have noticed that Duckduckgo is censoring... you promote yourselves as champions of privacy but are cleary not in favor of freedom! Noah Report is nowhere to be found when searched on your engine. They used to be number one with a query and now they're nowhere. When searched on Google, they are still number one, however, Google can't be trusted to not record someone's search habits, etc. Before long, there will be a legitimate search engine who will actually uphold our constitutional and God given rights to privacy and freedom of speech. Your search engine will become history.

P.S. By the looks of the feedback on this site, you don't respond to your customers either. That's a death nail in the corporate coffin.

I entered a search on "Define Assault Weapon". The first and most prominent answer is not accurate. The definition is given in three bullets as follow.

1. An infantry weapon, such as an assault rifle, designed for individual use.

This answer would benefit by the inclusion of the word military or similar condition around "infantry". Use of "assault rifle" in this definition is a bit like defining a word with itself.

2. Any select-fire firearm that allows semi-automatic and fully automatic operation, and is used or was once used by a military organization.

This is the most correct of the three. In my opinion, the "once was" part is questionable and unnecessary. Many of the military weapons that are no longer in use no longer exist.

3. A semi-automatic firearm that resembles a military weapon.

This is the most troublesome of the three. It follows very closely the anti-2nd amendment agenda and is therefore, not unbiased. My father hunted deer with a semi-automatic rifle that closely resembled the WWII M1 Garand. It even used the same ammunition. According to this definition, my father’s deer rifle was an assault weapon. Many people wish to classify the AR-15 as an assault rifle just because of how it looks. In truth it is a semi-automatic rifle that has found public favor for things such as hunting and target shooting.

Wikipedia has done an exhaustive job of discussing the issue from various perspectives. I think it demonstrates the difficulty in defining assault weapons.

You list other definitions that also contain bias.

You've become GOOGLE. You are not what you advertised and are no longer a free site. I hope you lose all of your customers. You have lost me a and I will inform everyone I know...,...

I changed search engines to Duck Duck Go last year to get better privacy. Yesterday I was looking at sites for men's sandal recommendations and I also visited the site of a dermatologist to make an online appointment. Today in my Facebook feed I found ads for men's sandals and the Facebook page for the dermatologist I am using.
